I can watch few episodes of shows. About half of the videos are locked and won't let me watch unless I sign into a provider. Everytime I have tried to log into my provider it only lights up the selected provider but won't go any further than that. I've tried uninstalling the app and redownloading it but nothing works as far logging into said provider so that I can watch more than a few episodes.

Would love this app for the marathons, except Chromecast support seems spotty at best. Currently get a black screen on my TV for a few seconds before Chromecast gives up and goes back to idle every time I try to cast from this. Edit - clearing the app cache did not work. Unlike the other reviewers I do not get the adult swim logo, only a black screen. All other apps work. Edit 2 - this occurs with marathons and episodes, couldn't test simulcast I'm currently between cable providers. Edit 3 - I am casting to a smart TV that is enabled via internal Chromecast. My TV has no streaming capabilities outside of Chromecast. Edit 4 - I find that hard to imagine given the software says Chromecast in multiple places. The packaging for the TV has Google's logo. The adult swim app has worked in previous iterations of the app.

When it works, it's fantastic. I updated the app on June 29th and ever since the simulcast feature has been completely broken. I have a good phone and 250 mbps internet so I don't know what is causing this. It will just show there is a error and disconnect. Edit July 1st: Thank you for getting back to me. I get the error anyway I try to watch the live simulcast. It doesn't work for me on my phone by itself or through Chromecast to my tv.

Constantly freezes and lags watching shows. I have zero issues with Netflix, Disney, Youtube etc. Literally do watch any of those other services all day long on same device and never have an issue. Tried clearing app data but still having same issue. Tried reinstalling, no help. Happens on wifi and 4g, multiple wifi networks tried. Seems worse with marathon than individual episodes, maybe just my perception. Still marathon issues months later. Responsive dev +++ !

Have to totally change my review fr 4 stars to 1. This app WAS very good. Hiccups every now and again as you get with any other app. For the last 30+ days this app has been unusable. All I get is "failed to load" no matter what I choose to watch. The website seems to work, but the website is such a mess, the ads replay 3 or 4 times in a row (when they aren't supposed to) c'mon adult swim, get your sh together. PLEASE fix the issue. I miss watching my [as] content...

This is one of the most used apps on my phones and tablets. I even turn on marathons of different shows to fall asleep to due to the ringing in my ears, helps to listen to something. I wish they hadn't added an "Are you still watching" timer because it's a pain to wake up and fumble with my phone to turn it back on but that's the only con with this app. Adult Swim, don't stop being your beautiful sexy self ya tease!! ;)

My issue is that the application suddenly stops using bandwidth. I'll be pulling a large amount of bandwidth and then suddenly it drops to 0, 1 or 2 kilobytes a second and it seems to happen more the later the night is, I can watch a full episode at 9 pm but at 12 I cannot go five minutes or less without the show stopping to buffer. All of my other apps and devices do not have this same problem. This is wireless internet, so could it be inconsistent connection?

I heard bumps are coming back!!!! and I'm stoked. I would love, and maybe even pay 😁, to have access to the old and new ones in the app. They are amazing to watch on repeat! Other than that app is great. Ads aren't bad, worth for the service. Navigation is smooth, searching is quick and accurate, UI is overall good. Haven't had it crash yet. So great so far. (Don't forget about the Bump idea AS, hint hint cough cough)

Always used to work fine, but for a while now when I try to select my cable provider it doesn't let me click anything. That's a pretty big problem and still hasn't been fixed. Really wish they would finally take care of that because it still doesn't work a year later. And I shouldn't have to download and enable chrome to access the app. None of my other station specific apps require anything like that and work fine. Not jumping through hoops to get basic functionality

Just checked it out. Really impressive. I like the offer of watching shows with ads and a video player for free. UI is pretty good. Not too much going but it gets the basics right. I'd like to see the floating window after hitting home button feature added though. Came here to watch smiling friends but was impressed with the app. Keep up the good work and maybe do more to get the word out there about the app. Thanks!

For nearly a month now, the app refuses to load any videos, giving a read screen. Initially I assumed this to be a transient issue, but it's been the case for a few weeks now. Unfortunately that means you have to go through the website to watch the content that the app would otherwise have. Have to give it 1 star until the app works again, at least.

Mostly good but can be better. The ability to star or favorite shows to be on your front page would be good so I don't have to search them every time. Also, when scrubbing through episodes, if you accidentally stop on ad space it plays the ads again even if you've already watched them. I don't mind the ads since it's free, but that is annoying.

All your favorite AS shows are here, but not all at once or all the time. It seems to buffer every 2 minutes and it's difficult to get the app to complete the provider sign in process, which is the only way to unlock all the content and it signs you out frequently as well. Sometimes it just crashes. These issues are years old but I still use the app because the content is worth it when the app works correctly.

UPDATE: As of 11/18/23 The app works now. Thank you for the fix. However, even acknowledging the difficulties of technology, your fans and customers waited far too long for the issue to be resolved. Currently, the Adult Swim APP that I use to watch AS on my phone is consistently showing a red screen that says "Video has failed to Load" and it has a Refresh button on the right end of the words. The Chrome App has never been a factor in the functioning of the AS App before.

I absolutley love this app for what it brings, which is a vast amount of Adult Swim titles, many of which have the entire show. I don't mind the ads at all seeing as it's a free space to watch some of our favorite shows back, however I have some suggestions on missing features. I really think this app would benifit from a search bar or list as it's aggravating having to scroll through the entire catalogue to find the show you want, especially since there isn't a "My List" or continue watching.

About 60% of the time when I try to do something in the app, I get "video has failed to load" or "there seems to be a problem here". (In my own software, I try to give meaningful error messages, so the user feels like they have something concrete to investigate or blame rather than experiencing confused, blind rage.) I've tried from my wifi connection & ISP at home and at work and via plain old cellular data. Logged in thru Comcast / Xfinity / whatever they're called this week. Yes, I'm in the US, not too far from Williams Street. Maybe you could provide a supplementary app that clicks "retry" for the user. Sometimes 30 or so clicks will do it. One day, software will automate our errors -- uh, I mean lives. When it does play video, it's great, and the selection is awesome. Chromecast feature is superb.

From the amount of stars I had seen on the Play store and what I read in the recent reviews, I was worried. I am glad to say that I was completely blown away. Everything works like a charm. Log in through FF went smooth and was watching everything on my S9 as if I was on my PC. You have done a wonderful job on the app and look forward to all the new content as it it released. The only thing is, I can't cast to my Visio. Thank you all! Edit: My Visio is terrible. It uses some other app service.

Looking for specific shows is often frustrating and navigating the app is terrible. Great content but that hardly matters if you cant find it. To [AS] response: you didnt finish the steps, once you search you're given a random set of clips and episodes the app thinks are relevant, now I have to specify further in the search bar. Making it not a quick and easy experience. If there is an easy way to go the each shows overview, it is not intuitive, or obvious from the mobile application.

Mysterious drain of over 2.8 gb of data in the background. Happened over the course of a day? Night? Not sure the timeframe. But last night it was fine, this morning it wasn't. My phone clearly said that it was this app that caused the spike. I had not opened the app for months. Perhaps an update turned it on and caused the drain? It is an odd issue to say the least. I had this installed for a long time with no issue. For now I will uninstall.

The app forces you to log in with a cable service provider to view a lot of the shows. That's fine, but when you click on a provider it highlights while your touching it and deselects when you let off. You're stuck at that screen and you can't go forward. You can't use a feature that locks you out of the majority of the app.
