UPDATE Nov 2021: I am so glad to be rid of this app. I finally broke down and bought a fitness tracker watch and can stop fiddling with this app. When they changed things so we were required to log in somewhere just to track a run/walk/hike/bike it became such a pain. Half the time it wouldn't connect to Facebook other times I wasn't in cell range (I hike a lit). Others are still using it so it must work, but I wasn't interested in something I had to fiddle all the time with.

Paid for the pro version of the app years ago and it was my favorite running app. But then they switched to a subscription model and I didn't want to pay anymore, now just spams loud obnoxious ads and they seem to continue removing features, voice notifications of distance and other info no longer work. I'm moving on to a different app after over 5 years of use.

I have been using this app for several years now and I do like it. Can do group challenges, log all sorts of activities, gps seems to work well, and the latest version fixed some of the glitches where the app would freeze up and sometimes kill your phone. I don't have any of the premium features, so can't weigh in on those. I will continue to use it in the future.

The GPS signal no longer works. I have made sure location is on, data is on and working and have tried to toggle with the setting but nothing is working. I've used it since the summer of 2018 and have not had any complaints until now. After reading through critical reviews, I see it's not just a personal issue. Will have to uninstall for now because I need a run tracking app that works and there is no point in having one that doesn't. Hope to see a fix on the bug in the near future.

I hope somebody actually reads this, I have some genuine feedback. When you manually add a run, it only allows you to go to the 10th of a mile. When you go back to edit it at all allows 100th of a mile, it would be nice to be able to go to the 100th in the first place. Second, when you manually add 2.5 miles, it only should you as 2.4 towards your weekly goal. It will not show the next 10th position until you actually go over it. For example, if I added a 10.00 mile run, it would show 9.9 weekly

Overall a great app. Easy enough to use with a great view of your progress/history. I like having the voice coaching but I have two things I'd like to improve that bug me enough to want to use a different app. 1) the voice coach speaks way too slow. I wish I could speed it up. 2) The voice coach doesn't pause my music on my Samsung S8 phone. Given how it interrupts often enough, and talks so slowly, this is annoying and leaves me to manually pause everytime it starts speaking (I listen to podcasts while running).

it's ok, but if you're like me, and you don't have a smartwatch, don't always plan your run exactly before you start, and maybe use a running belt to hold your phone, the UI is going to add 1.5-2 minutes onto your run. For the countdown to start, it's "Tap ANYWHERE to begin", so you are trying to delicately pack it, for fear of starting your time while still fiddling to secure it. You'll fail. At the finish, even if you stand still, takes a while to get your phone out and press finish to stop

It was great for a while (except the voice that gives the data I want in all the wrong format, and it's not configurable because why not). During my half marathon, kept stopping the activity. So now it's like I'm teleporting from one side of the city to another. And now during my run keep crashing and loosing the distance. Which is not very convenient for a running application. I subscribed and unsubscribed multiples times depending of my motivation. Every time I needed unsubscription, I had to google it to see where it was hidden in the depth of configuration.

I've used this app since the runtastic edition and I can highly recommend it. The premium feature are nice but not at all necessary for the average runner. I just like being able to customize a plan, interval, pace, ECT. The voice coach can be VERY annoying when you set a pace, especially if you have Bluetooth turned on. I'm guessing it slows down the GPS response. All in all, this app is easy and can add alot of motivation to yours runs.

It's not accurate even with the highest/most accurate GPS location setting turned on. I've compared it to two other apps now at the same time and the others are almost identical, yet this one often hardly shows any distance traveled or is way off compared to the other apps. I don't recommend it based on that. It's nice in some ways, but definitely needs a lot of work.

If you're unhappy that you can no longer export GPX files from the website (despite assurances that this feature would not be affected), i recommend switching to the Sportactive app. Tried it this morning and it has a similar UI, GPS seemed accurate (similar to Runtastic anyway), and most importantly you can export GPX files directly from the app (only an issue if you have limited storage on your phone), which this one should have done after dropping web support.

This running app is literally so easy to use and you can have it operating in the background with your screen in sleep mode. All I have to do is open the app, hit Start Live Run and begin my run. If you have any kind of sport you play and you will like to keep track of your progress, this app gives many many many different sports to track. NOT JUST RUNNING. I highly recommend this app.

I've only used it for a few days now, but I paid for the premium and it still is lacking what I need. I typically run on a treadmill, and if you select that as your activity you can't access the workout plan you are on. I really enjoy the workout plan that I chose because it is interval training to build up to running longer distances. If I just select the running activity, it doesn't give me anything for miles and I haven't figured out a way to manually change the miles and calories. But other than that, this app is pretty good, I still need to try out the other functions.

Have been using Runstastic free for two years and the prior version helped me train for a sprint triathlon. The latest version, however, is CRAMMED with ads! They interfere with use. I would happpily watch one or two 15s ads before starting or adding an activity, but when they pop up literally right in the middle of adding or editing activities,it's frustrating and distracting. Too many push messages as well. Product team needs to holistically reevaluate the free experience because it's far less usable as is.

I have used several other fitness tracking apps. Most are really hard to work with - at least their free version. But the Adidas app is really good. I have never had it quit mid-activity on its own (others have); it measures distance instead of the ridiculous "steps" (which leads to easy cheating in any challenge); you can leave a comment on anyone's activity, but the world will see it, so it keeps everything pretty family-friendly.

The original sharing page was a lot better—simple and straightforward. The new layout features a weird, oversized font and feels more cluttered. Why change something that isn't broken? Please consider reverting to the original design. And if possible remove the running text also on the top right under Adidas. Option to control font size or keep it small

App has ,to me ; a glitch. It pauses without informing you and then you have to recover the activity time and distance plus afterwards the voice coach gives you the wrong time and distance .The app is still better than UA but not by much . UPDATE: THIS APP SUCKS ! I don't see how so many can have great results when the same problem remain . The app pauses in the middle of a run . You have to Stop and recover when you check your progress. Oh you get the time recovered but not the distance.

The app keep losing GPS signal and I get literally NOTHING for stats as it usually happens within the 1st mile. I really like this app because my friends use this app and we can follow each other's progress. Maybe it's an Android issue because they don't have this problem. I have to keep the app open on my screen and turn off the wifi when I run and there is no guarantee that it will not lose the GPS signal like it did this morning. It is super frustrating! Fix this, then 5 stars!

I only got the app to collect points for the store, but it quit giving me credit for completing events a few months ago. Now it kicks me out of the events when I'm close to finishing, and it wants me to start over. Also, the gps thinks I'm just running through houses and buildings. It registers that must not be right, but instead of recalibrating where you actually are, it just quits logging your run, and once again you're out those sweet juicy points.

How come Waze and Google Maps work fine in power saving mode but your app requires full access for GPS? Funny how it works for the first few minutes then magically gives the notice that gps has been lost... Has nothing to do with the ability for your app to collect data and work in the background does it? Edit: the way you end runs is ridiculous. Do we click. Slide. Long tap. Throw the phone in the water? C'mon. Hard to end when you're just done running. Stayed active for another 20 mins cuz we
