Decent font options, but the decorations they show ("merry xmas" & "be the reason someone smiles today" extras -like the leaf, dots, lines that look like sparkles, hearts, an airplane in the travel text- within those texts are not actually available. I didn't see them in the decorations or stickers anywhere, not even to unlock, which is frustrating. It's decent for basic fonts, but overall makes me think I need to stop using my phone & just get on my computer for edits. Also no Chinese fonts 😕

Good starter app, but needs work. When you use a font, it shouls pin to the top so you can use it again in a separate text box without having to scroll and find which one you used/where it is on the long list. Could you all fix that and also add the ability to create a template? For example, I need my text at the bottom of each image I make to be in the same spot. If not, it makes my pictures look sloppy because they don't match. If you fix these things I will definitely bump to 5 stars!

Really great app with downsides. One downside is that some ads are of people with no clothes. No watermark and the ads don't interrupt you when you are creating. There are a lot of color choices, fonts, alignment guides help with the position of your text, and many different options for styling your text. All for free. So far there is no limit to how many pictures you can make for free, but so far it's really great. The paid version is optional and you don't need it for most of the functions.

So far a GREAT APP, easy to use and I love the multiple text box option. There are also a variety of fonts as well. The only suggestions I would make, are to have guiding lines to know when something is level and/or centered. Also, some indication that different text boxes are the same size would be great! Lastly, a more diverse photo gallery would be appreciated as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Simple app for adding text to photo or other background, lots of fonts in many languages and some cool customization features like neon, shadowing, gradients, etc. Mostly easy to understand after you mess around with it a little. Lots of extras if you choose to buy it too, with a free trial to check it out. You can add multiple layers too, which is very cool. I like this app a lot.

So easy to create a meme. You can use your own images or choose from their stock images. It's simple to add text wherever you want, and they have a great selection of fonts. Love it! But I took off a star because the app is suddenly glutted with ads. While creating one meme I must have watched 7 ads. That's absolutely ridiculous. Previously I only had to watch two. I'd be fine with ads unlocking content, but forced ads will drive people away.

It can really be annoying sometimes when you have a good idea for something you want to make, but when you go to look for an app that will do what you want, you find you either need a paid premium or it didn't work right, or the app is just useless. This was NOT the case when i downloaded TextArt. It was super simple to use, a great interface, and when I finished and went to export (always the scariest part) I was happy to watch an ad to support them. Great product.

I must say this IS a phenominal app. Yes there are adds, yes you might have to waite a few seconds every so often, developers have bills to pay like everyone else. The ability and ease of importing fonts is second to none. The editability of everything is outstanding! I can save it, export it, anything. I havent noticed if there are watermarks on the pictures yet or not. However, even if there are...when you test drive a vehicle, do you get to keep it?

11/27/20 still can't save projects though I bought ad free version..keeps telling me to purchase. 11/17 To be fair, i'm updating my review again. This is my go to app for photo memes. Some fixes & enhancements have improved the experience. From 3 to 5. 10/6 Thanks for going back to the old way of resizing text. Resizing text too difficult. Box too touchy to movement. Back button features to return to editing not satisfying. Nice pics & font otherwise. But not outweighing the issues thus far.

Large selection of fonts, tons of editing options. There are quite a few ads but I think that's a fair trade for this app being free. I like having the option to watch an ad to "unlock" premium features (instead of being forced to purchase the premium option). I gave it 4 stars only because I wish there was the option to edit text after seeing the preview.

I like the app, only thing really is the tool bar at the bottom should be able to hide/ disappear while you're still editing it. Otherwise, when you place the words or borders at the bottom of your picture, you cant see it while adjusting. and you can't move things around if they're hidden behind the tool bar once they are placed.

Not as advertised. That fancy typography you see are presets; you can't use your own text. If you want to use your own text it's just picking font and color like any basic photo app can already do. The preset text makes it useless. For example one says "save the date June 5". What if the date I want to promote isn't June 5? And where did that date come from in the first place? You may be able to find a use for this but there are other apps that actually do what this app pretends to do.

Been using this app for years (5+) I love this app. Even just the basic free version is the best of any I've tried And the pro upgraded version is a weekly basis, so I can choose to pay only when it's necessary for the project I'm working on. But this is the best app for a lot of effects other apps don't all have on one, they require you to download a sister app to get the other features. There are apps with this title that are BS so be careful.

I really like this app...BUT... The ads are annoying and the cost to purchase the app and get rid of the ads are $14.99/WEEK!!!! That's $60 a MONTH!!! I simply can't afford that. I would be willing to pay a 1 time fee, but not a recurring fee. So if you can put up with the ads, this is a really really great tool. 👍

I love this app, it's very easy to navigate. Except, and this is a big except, when I first started using it it worked great but now I can not for the life of me get rid of the font outline. It's on every font and I have tried everything. I have worked with artistic apps and programs for years so I don't think I'm missing anything. I can simply minimize it by making the font bold. I also can not change it's color. The font is always black and the outline is always white. All other features work

Update!!!! This app has been updated and is working well again I wish it wasn't so much for the premium but. Ads aren't terrible very short just frequent. Loved this app so much until it stopped working 2 days ago. You could crop photos adjust colors add text in about 100 different fonts. But now cannot even access the photos I adjusted since the app is not working. Will update if it starts working again.

(contacting support) I really want to love this, but the final screen to save the image does not scroll and the save button in not visible on my screen. This makes the app useless (for me). Hopefully this can be fixed in the future. I have a Unihertz Titan with a 1:1 screen. I will keep the app installed and check for updates. If the issue gets fixed I will change to 5 stars.

*Edited to add to developer* While I appreciate the response, you're price is beyond outrageous! The full Adobe suite of creative products doesn't even cost that much! $780/year is RIDICULOUS!! I've been using this app for awhile and really love it. Since I use it so much I decided to look at the paid version, but they want $14.99/week, that's $780 a year. Absolutely NOT! I'll look for a different app to use. If the price was REASONABLE I would happily pay it. But greedy developers? Nope!

Absolutely love, love, loveee the app! It's by far the best 'Text on Photo's' app in the app store, trust me, I've tried them all! Oh, & the unlimited version.. don't even get me started! It's only $7.99 a month & it gives you tons of stuff! It's super user friendly! Everything you need is right there & self explanatory. Basically, it's the best! Hands down!

I like that there are several fonts to choose from. There needs to be even more fonts, like handwriting ones, metal music ones, etc. I photograph bands and it would be great to match the music style with the fonts. Also, BIG ONE... I CAN'T SEE WHERE I'M PUTTING THE WRITING ON THE BOTTOM PART OF THE PICTURE! You've GOT to make it to where we can move the picture around, up, etc, to see where we're putting the writing! Can't put it very far down!
