It's super annoying that you have to login every time. "Remember me" doesn't work. The app is sometimes nonfunctional for long periods. You have to click the link exactly on the link text for it to work, despite large buttons on the side nav. July 2021 update: I have an important thing I need to do in the app and have been trying for several hours to log in. It simply won't respond or work after I click the login button. Such a horrible app for managing important business like rent.

Decent idea, but the app itself sucks. The login button literally just opens an in app browser. Might as well just use chrome, it will probably work better. Using the back button on your phone to let's say, back out of a photo you made full screen, will close this browser and log you out. This is like basic level design flaws. This app is obviously made from a company that either didn't want to support Android because they took as many shortcuts as possible. Sad.

App does not seem to open on Pixel 3XL running Android 10. After downloading, first attempt to open I am prompted to allow or deny camera access. Either selection results in the app crashing. Second attempt brings up prompt again, immediately followed by the system letting me know "ActiveBuilding keeps stopping". Deleting data and cache, uninstalling, reboot, and re-install does not fix the situation. Same problem again. Feedback was also sent through email with system logs after app crash.

Terrible app. Operating on Pixel 6 pro. Does not remember password or username, I have to reenter my credentials every time, IF it even loads to begin with.f you're reading a post or anything at all and happen to tap the system back button, it returns you all the way to the home page. It's basically a shoddy home built web browser that doesn't even function well. The website in chrome works better than this app.

This is the first app I've seen of its kind that restricts immediate payments to the amount due at that moment. Thus, paying the amount in advance will not work (i.e. no "Specify Amount" option). The "workaround" with the Recurring Payments option... has a service fee attached to it! All apps with transactions like this have the option to specify a custom amount upon immediate payment. It's a bit of a shock this one doesn't.

Completely busted, unable to log in. Just has a spinner that appears forever, and if you tap the app while the spinner is spinning, it takes you back to login page. I have talked to users of the application from different appt complexes and they have the same issue. Apt complex contacted whomever to try to fix, their solution was to delete and recreate my account. No change. Can't get worse than "unable to use any aspect of the app", if I could give 0ess than 1 star I would.

The app has completely stopped working altogether. I mean completely and literally. I try to sign it and it just loads forever. Either until I choose the app and retry, or until my phone screen actually turns off (it's set for 10 minutes idle). Then it brings me back to the sign in page, after that loading my profile but still not logging me on -simply showing it remembers my account. I've been unable to access any of my information in the app for almost a month now.

This app is inconsistent and definitely has issues that need to be addressed. My login credentials have been accepted and its just sitting there at the login screen no matter how many time I try to enter. I even used an incorrect password on purpose and it gave me an error msg, but when I use the correct password the circle spins for a second and then nothing. I even tried changing my password and nothing changed! And YES the app is updated to the latest version on my phone (Samsung Galaxy 9)

Working again finally. When this app works, it works well and is convenient. It is scary to not have something dealing with money or one's home or bills not work though (see previous). PREVIOUS: Same as many others looks like, I'm no longer able to sign in and see a blank page out of the app when I click to do so. I need the app to pay rent smoothly, especially with the virus stuff going on, just like many others. Frustrating when "fixes" and updates cause things to break instead of work better

It would be a better app if the payment system was better. Currently it will charge you a few on each transaction you make, and rather than letting you input custom amounts, it requires you only pay what is currently due, past due, or if you want to prepay, you must pay the entire amount. The app also does not support viewing the attachments from the community wall and struggles to keep up with other apartment apps. There is the upside that you can manage renters insurance through them though.

Everyone is right, this is not intuitive and a pain in the neck. Had to do a lot of changes so the app would accept the input(s). On my smartphone I was offered a coupon to allow payments at participating stores. But as soon as I went to another page it was lost, and unretrievable. Can't get it on this laptop either. The biggest issue that bugs me, is that these people charge $5.49 for a "convenience charge" on every payment made here; recurring or one-time. If anyone has a solution to go around this charge or how to recover the "coupon"; kindly post it in the community page area, or reply to this "review"...at least I gave it 2 stars :-)

I really hate this app. It is so slow, and they changed where the contact info is for emergency maintenance. I can't find it anywhere which, in my current situation where my heater is out and it's only 2 degrees outside, is extremely frustrating. Every page goes through a long load time, and some things are on the hotbar while others aren't... Absolutely awful to use. I hope they change it soon.

It does the job. I've used it at multiple apartments. The most annoying thing about this app is that there is only one message inbox, which inevitably, management will use for everything from extremely important water shutoff notices to spamming inspirational thoughts. There's no way to categorize or prioritize. No way to opt out of stupid messages. Important messages get ignored. Also, it's extremely tedious to mark 100 messages as "read" one at a time.

Unacceptable for a professional application. Makes you login every time despite selecting the "Remember me" check box. Sometimes doesn't let me login, it just gets stuck loading. Using the back button in certain screens causes it to display error messages so you have to use the back arrow at the top of the screen. Performance is slow. Makes me wonder what type of security they have since they are dealing with money.

This app really does not do anything that I don't get through email. Push notifications? Nah, who needs em? New post or package? Great, but I'll never clear every notification. Seriously, I live in a small building and see new posts every time I open the app that would have been immediately useful as a notification. And registering or modifying my auto-pay is a 2006 level experience. This app is awful. Wouldn't be hard to fix. But I have no other choice.

I've noticed some improvements being made recently which is great. Unfortunately, the app is still extremely frustrating to use. I miss pretty much every message and post from my neighbors because of the lack of push notifications and app launcher badges. Half the time the app won't render and I have to restart it. None of the pages seem to be integrated with the Android back button, which when pressed, typically just causes the app to hang.

Feels more like an app in beta tezt stage than end product, consumer ready. Consistently inconsistent. Cannot login many, many times across all devices. And with recent "upgrades", login is now a 3 step process. The app has the potential to be very helpful and useful but it is difficult to navigate, closes unexpectedly and even logging on is an unknown factor day-to-day. Great idea that needs improvement.

I have been using this since July and it's been great and easy to pay my rent, today when I went to log in I am having the problem with it cycling back and forth between the loading screen and a blank white page. Another time it said " page error" and said too many entries( That was the first time I tried to log in today). I don't know, it's just annoying. Hopefully after months of reviews they will fix this bug.

This is the slowest buggiest app I have ever used. The wall with comments doesn't load, I can't send or receive messages, and logging in is different every time. Sometimes open the app and it will automatically log me in, sometimes I have to enter my email and password, and sometimes it opens an authorization screen I have to log into. I don't think it is secure enough to use to pay my rent, and my leasing office doesn't get messages I send through the app.

Want to add yet another 1 star review. One would hope you guys would fix the issues after getting so many ... I've had this app for a couple of years (on android) for my current apartments, and it often doesn't let me in. Like right now, as soon as I put the cursor in the password field, the app closes and disappears. I tried a hard restart and to reinstall, but no go. (Also, would be great if apartments had an override option to allow residents to post freely during times of crisis).
