this app is incapable of doing even the most basic of audio editing. You cannot do anything to the audio without it applying to the entire project. for example, I wanted to mute a specific section of the audio of my base video so I could insert an audio clip over it, but it would only let me mute the background audio for the entire video, not just one moment. I thought I could get around this by cropping out the section of the video I wanted, but muting that still muted everything. Don't bother.

Very nice easy video editing app. If you need something simple but still powerful this is a great option. No where near the capabilities of it's big brother Power Director, but a way more simplistic UI with a handful of great features & a library full of effects, stickers, music clips & an easy to understand tutorial for every tool. A very very good editing app that is a little more than just your basic smartphone video editing app.

Having trouble with getting kicked out to main menu while trying to add sound effects. Trying for 3 days to add it but no luck. I've paid for a year subscription already to. I've used it before and never had a problem. That's why I got the subscription. Sent an email requesting help today. We'll see what happens. If they help me it's easily a 5-star app.

I initially gave this app 5 stars when I was still using the free version. I then switched to subscription and started using this as my dedicated video editing tool on my mobile. That's when I noticed that I couldn't adjust the audio per clip. The audio adjustment affects the whole video. Not sure if it's just me or it is really not included in the apps's features. Help pls?

This used to be my favorite editing app as I do all of my content creation and editing from a mobile device. However this app seems to be getting buggier and buggier. I also get pop-up ads when I have paid for the premium version. My biggest issue currently is that almost every time I want to watermark a video the setting glitches and I am unable to drag it further.

The app is versatile and works well. I made a movie waiting my turn at the DMV. Please tell me what features are added to get the full version. I like to have some sound options where the background sound can be turned off/on for individual video clips, not just the option that applies to ALL the clips used. Sound fade or transitions. How about a multi-layer sound option. That's what I'm looking for in the upgrade...and I'm in

Fantastic app. I never thought it'd be this easy to create such polished, professional looking videos with only a few simple clicks until finding this app. The directions are not convuluded, it is easy enough for beginners to get started. I went premium and it was very worth it since they offer a ton of filters, stickers, and transitions for premium users. Best part, the 4k videos I'm recording on my Note 9 are able to stay in that resolution, no sacrificing quality like other apps. Great job guys!

After some initial learning and navigating the app (like anything) I find this very robust and simple to use for any basic editing projects. From titles, transitions, trims, slow downs and speed ups, it's gives the essentials you need. Take multiple videos and merge them together into one final work without frustration. Great app. Whenever I make a video, I use this.

is great app; however, i am giving it only 3 stars since the edit mode is very difficult to understand and the youtube video showing how to tim a video is very vague. if I want to trim the video in the middle i guess the way to do it is to split the video; otherwise it just trims everything else and it only leaves the middle unwanted part and it is up to the user to figure it out; not everyone is a computer savvy, so that area is not so friendly user. other than that is an excellent app

Watch an ad for 30 seconds in hope to remove watermark. 30 seconds of ad completes playing. "Reward Granted" button appears with an "X" to close the ad and render the video. Surprise! That "X" button doesn't work; it won't close the ad. It does nothing. But all the other buttons on the ad work to lead you to the advertiser's landing page. You go back from the ad, you have to do this all over again. The "remove watermark by watching an ad" is just a scam.

The free version is simple, but ive been pretty happy with it so far. Not difficult to figure out, seems to consistently put out decent videos. My one complaint would be the drop in video quality from the original clips, but its not too bad, and again, im using the free version, the paid version supposedly allows higher quality video.

Love the app and all the options. I do wish I could just type in the times I want to edit instead of sliding the bar. I need specific times and sometimes it's hard to stop it with the bar. Also, I paid for the premium version, but sometimes it reverts back to the free version. I click restore purchase, but it doesnt work so I have to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Overall a great product. I even purchased power director, which I am still learning. 1). It is difficult in action director to trim videos in the appropriate spot, likely due to the small screen on mobile devices vs fiber size. 2). It would be nice to be able to apply the same transition to all cuts at the same time. 3). Another layer for more than one text input at a time would be great. 4). Even though you might have the full purchased version for a year, your downloads somehow disappear.

Easy, peezy, lemon squeezy! Made a few quick snooze instructional videos and dance videos for practice. Simple editing tools with the free app. Does a lot more with a purchased version so I'll have to update this once I have purchased the full app. Thanks for the free app for the time being though. 😁 Not sure if I have the ability to cut/edit audio that I add, with the paid version, as it was not available with the free version. Or I wasn't looking hard enough. 😉

Very nice app, easy to use. Doesn't allow multiple cuts off one clip, but you can add the same clip again to get the second crop, and so on. Allowed modification of audio for each clip imported. But - lost two points for only being SUBSCRIPTION BASED. Come on. For someone who wants to edit a single video now and then, with no watermark? This software is nowhere near professional trade that would require a subscription. Come on.

This has potential. I'm a editor by profession, so i know how to navigate through these types of apps and this one wouldn't let me add recorded audio to my image. Well it WOULD, just not the one i had recorded specially for this image. That is it only displayed about 10% of the audio files on my device. It's also missing some pretty basic features. But a good price, tho.

This app has lost two of my files now critical files - I shoot them, play them back close the app and it can't find the file or it's a zero byte file. I WAS using this in my job fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. Update: I used the camera app to record a series of clips using the pause button - I then viewed this minute video clip, without any editing. I closed the app to output later and it now shows up as a 0k file, unrecoverable.

I'm just getting started. In the free version at least, the "produced" videos carry the ActionDirector logo with them ever after. When searching my device for audio or photos to use, I have to scroll through everything- there's no "handle" on the side of the list to whisk me to the file I'm seeking. Other than these little quibbles, the app is doing the job pretty much as I'd hoped.

Updated May 2, 2020 - Some how this app enrolled me in the monthly subscription for USD$3.99/month (just cancelled)...not happy at the lost and how this occurred, hence drop to one star. BEWARE!!! --- Easy to use and nice to edit and produce on your phone. Five stars if there is a way to DELETE clips once placed, trimming them to one second not good enough, so I have had to start from the beginning on a project.

In the beginning, I LOVED this app. It did everything I wanted and more!! Now, I'm blocked from higher quality videos EVEN THOUGH I PAY AND it's CONSTANTLY pestering me to update whereas the OLDER version from when I LOVED it does NOT. The newest updates are great and things are back to the level I was loving in the beginning. This is even the app I recommend to other entrepreneurs on a budget but wanting to make quality reels and social media videos.
