This app is vastly superior to the native Digital Wellbeing app. The main reason I sought it out initially is that it allows you to exclude certain apps that don't necessarily represent "screen time" such as audible, clock, and maps. But, it offers so many more metrics and data on your screen time as well. This is everything that the native app should have been.

Great app and UI, my favorite feature is the custom schedules that restrict access to certain apps during certain time periods, with custom settings for each one. It's kinda dumb how much easier that makes it to stay productive, in combination with calender blocking with Google calendar I don't even have to think about it, I just naturally end up doing the things I need to do. Thank you to the developers for such a great app!! ☺️

Overall, pretty good app. Very disappointed at the experience with usage limits though. While the limits work, they cause a glitch. (Nearly every time I click my home launcher, I'm asked to set a default home. Even though I make my selection and mark 'Always', this annoying pop-up happens constantly. Since clearing cache/data and setting the default home in Settings did not work, I had to turn usage limits off.) Hope to be able to use that feature without issue in the future.

Used to be a big fan of this app and the analytics it puts at your fingertips. After a couple of months of usage, the app has become painfully slow to load and calculate usage times. Every screen (or tab) I navigate to now takes 10 to 15 seconds to populate with information and don't even get me started on how frustrating it is to view weekly stats. Here's hoping that the devs prioritize performance improvements.

I really like the app. It lets me set time limits for specific apps and keeps track of phone use and gives awards. The data presented is very detailed: multiple graphs about a number of aspects of phone use. One feature not included is a password protected override of time limits. There's nothing stopping you from adding time to your daily limit to permit continued use of an app. The app is best for a person who finds power in data and habit forming reminders. Overall really good

Great app! I have no self-control, so I've put time limits on my social media apps so i dont waste my day. I also have certain times in the evening that I allow myself access to some apps, again since I have no self-control, and it's just habit to pull out my phone and pull up certain apps. My one complaint is that sometimes this app does a weird little glitch where it will let me back in an app even after the time limit is up later in the day. Other than that, it's been really good.

This app has been super helpful for me, and it has good features. It's user friendly and easy to use as well. One feature I would like to see is being able to vary app limit time by day. You can create your own schedules for focus mode, and that is as flexible as you want it to be. But setting a daily usage limit for certain apps doesn't have the option to make it vary day by day without changing it manually.

This app is the best screen time app! The typical app gives you an option to ignore the reminder, this one doesn't. The good thing is that I can still finish my YouTube video on the corner to the screen, so I don't end up turning off the limit to finish the video and get distracted. I have also set a time where I can't use anything when it's time for bed, so I have been getting a lot more sleep, I'm definitely recommending this to my friends

I've found this app to be extremely helpful! It works just how I need it, making it harder to access distracting apps when I need to focus. One thing I don't like is that there was originally a sort of cool down timer that prevented you from turning off focus mode or adjusting an app off the restricted list while focus mode is active and it's no longer there nor is there an option to toggle it. I really liked the timer and would like to at least be able to choose if I have it or not.

This app is fantastic. I struggle to control my screen time, and this app is a huge help to me. I have timers set up on the apps that sometimes cause me to waste my time, and then I have two schedules. The first is my workday schedule, which blocks most distracting apps but allows things like phone and messages so I can be in touch as needed throughout the day. The second is my sleep schedule, which shuts down almost everything. These three settings have given me back control over my life.

Pretty disappointed in this. I really wanted to like it. The ideas are solid, but the execution needs a lot of work. It takes ages to refresh the main usage page, the notifications frequently show 0 usage at all, and it eats up a ton of battery (13% of my total usage as of right now). I liked how it could limit apps, but it wasn't flexible enough for my needs: different weekend time limits, etc. I'm a huge Action Launcher fan. It's incredible. This app unfortunately doesn't live up to it yet.

I think the app is precise but not accurate. Great way to get somewhat inaccurate data. If you leave apps open, but your phone is no where near you, it still counts as time on the app. But it gets worse. If you even look at messages, for example, for 30 seconds, then shut the app, action dash will say you were on for 30 minutes. Just can be wildly inaccurate. If it says you were on phone for 6 hours per day... really means half that.

Great app, very easy. Is there a way to exclude apps? My launcher takes up a big portion of the pie. Id like to exclude it from the data. Also, I believe the person with the comment about people with disability is referring to someone with an eye condition having to pay $7 to use your app in dark mode as a way that is easier on the eyes. I think that is why they used the handicap parking analogy. We'll make it easier for you to park closer... for $7. Id personally make dark mode part of the free

This app is a really solid app for time management; with good design, and very practical and good options to stay away from your phone. However, there is a thing I am a bit annoyed with: the widget for the app is in my opinion a bit oversized, and you cannot make it small, and only have the option to make it bigger. I really want devs to make this right. Apart from that, very good time management app!

I like it a lot. it unobtrusively tells me about my use and adds in other thoughtful information. however, its main purpose is to allow me to see changes in usage through time and it is not doing that at the moment, because it frequently does not save statistics. I flip back to previous days and they say zero minutes. so I can't recommend paying until this basic functionality is fixed

App has been great for over a year. Now there's ads and none of the buttons work anymore minus a select few. I can't even open settings anymore. Feel like all the energy has gone to the effort of putting up ads at the detriment of the usability of the app. Please fix and I will move back to 5 stars like I've had for 2 years. EDIT: After an uninstall and reinstall it's working better again. Still not as good as it once was and kind of buggy, but it's very good.

Was working fine for some time but recently started running very slow and prompting me to wait for it to process. In addition the buttons hardly ever work the first time anymore. I had to move on. Have been using StayFree for about a week and it just works and works well. I shouldn't be this impressed with something just for not glitching all the time.

Have to change my review. Lately it's been super slow and not accurately counting the time I've spent on each app. I have 30 minute limits on a lot of apps, and I'll realize I've been scrolling for a suspiciously long time and when I check, it says I've only used the app for like 12 minutes which is blatantly false. The screen when it says I've reached my limit is super laggy too, and pops up repeatedly and then after a few seconds I get a notification that the app isn't responding. Please fix

I'm sorry to say I have to downgrade my original 5-star review. Somewhere along the way, the app has stopped working very well. Many of the functions can not be selected at all, such as the trophy icon, magnifying glass, the 3 dots (top right), and I can no longer toggle between dates at the bottom of the app using the arrows. It has been this way for months now, so I've stopped using it altogether. I've tried updating it, deleting it, and re-dowloading it, but nothing has improved it.

when I first got the app, it was great, worked perfectly. but now it takes forever to load, isn't limiting my screen time or blocking apps when I've reached my time limit. whenever I try to open the app to see what the problem is, it just says the app stopped working. I loved the app before, but am hoping they can get this fixed!!
