**Better off looking on the Acme Website and writing a list with pen and paper** 11/26/21 update: app loaded, but now, once again can't add items from weekly add. Finding coupons is a 753 step process. This app used to be so simple years ago. Now its the most convoluted thing possible. After hoping it would improve through several updates, I'm finally deleting the app.

App no longer works. I keep getting can not connect to server and every selected coupon keeps saying no longer available when the expiration date isn't for at least another week away. What's the point of this app if you can't clip coupons anymore? I can't even send a feedback on the app because of "not connecting to server" issue. I'm about to just uninstall it.

I really can't get motivated to use Acme. I get their emails and it only fits 1 item per page with lots of wasted white space. The app homepage is cluttered and should feel like the front page of a flyer. $1 off doesn't tell me if I'm getting a deal if the item is overpriced by $2. "$5 off when you buy $30 or more", another item "Earn 10X points w/ $50 or more." Too much to keep track of. It isn't horrible, it just isn't fluid and enjoyable. Always feels like you're looking for loopholes.

Have never had an issue with the app except that my rewards pts disappear with no warning, even with notifications turned on. Rewards points should last for at least 6 months to give everyone a chance to accumulate enough for the higher reward redemptions. Otherwise, it is easy to use and navigate.. One suggestion though... There should be some kind of "savings" that builds up a certain percentage of savings (usually only pennies on the $1) that can be used for purchases (Target & Walmart do)...

Been using this app for a good year. Worked well til today. It will NOT allow me to sign in either by email or mobile. I get the verification code and then I get the " we are having technical difficulties, try later. I've been trying for almost 24 hrs off and on. I've restarted my device. Made sure the app was fully updated. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I've emailed the developer. NOTHING. If it doesn't get fixed, Acme has lost a customer.

The app used to work great. I mostly use it for loading coupons and the like. However, for the past few months now, the app has trouble with letting me sign in. Whether trying by phone number or email, it immediately gives a "We're sorry" technical error saying to try again later. I keep the app and my device updated and have tried multiple reinstalls. Still, I've only been able to get the app to sign in without error about 4 times all year so far. Can't check in for orders. Please fix.

Horrible app. I can't believe how much time this app has wasted. When you try to view the weekly add it zooms in so close that you can't see the bottom of the advert. And then when you try to zoom out, it automatically zooms back in. So frustrating. Whoever designed this app needs some serious training. Not worth the frustration. Don't download this garbage.

It would be the best app i have but it never entirely works. The weekly ad coupons never show up as available. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times and have ensured that i have the right store selected. Every time i open it it says not connected to server. I have a family of 7. The app is the only reason i shop at acme. Im thinking of driving farther to go to another grocery store unless they fix the problem. Even the customer service people cant get the app to work!

This app is garbage. Seriously. It freezes all of the time, crashes my entire phone sometimes. Doesn't scroll right. When trying to go back and forth between ad, item, and list it's crazy difficult. I have wanted to throw my phone. App is such garbage! It needs a signature garbage bag to be thrown in. Go back to the drawing board Dev team!!

I have a love-hate relationship with this app. I use it all the time. It's kind of finicky and makes you scroll through all the deals over and over again to get to the top so you can clip them. Something is wrong about the way that this loads. I just put in my coupons for the day and I had to scroll to the top like six times through all the stuff because it kept freaking out. I absolutely love the savings but it's a really frustrating app to use.

The app is not user friendly. When trying to search, the filters don't work (for example exciting out of stock items or limiting by brand). If an item is viewed and you go back to the search, the filters and sitting applied are reset to the default. It is useful for coupons but that's about it. Would also be nice to have online deli ordering.

Terrible "upgrade". They've made it unnecessarily difficult to find e-coupons (aka Acme 4 U). Need to bring back the tab that just shows e-coupons, and make the display more compact. Have to wonder if any usability testing was done on this. Scary thing is that they rolled this out to other chains first and I'm sure the feedback was the same, so they must not have cared.

Edit 2021-B Uninstalled; next to useless after latest update; and going to the dotcom is a mess, too, continally asking for a location and not accepting it! For a pro outfit such as Acme, this is a real disappointment. Edit 2021: Two stars removed for weekly ad items no longer going to the shopping list when tapped. Good basic food-shopping app, but could be greatly improved with a scanner and price info. Digital coupons are a solid money-saver and worth the extra few minutes to scroll through.

The app was updated and I really don't like the new set up. It doesn't ask for confirmation when you clip one of your free rewards so if you accidentally tap it it's clipped and you're out of luck. I also don't like that you have to open all the different categories in your list to see what's clipped instead of being able to scroll through them all at once.

EDIT: well, they made it worse. I didn't think they could do it. Please, Acme, go back to the old app. I really hate this app. It keeps giving me notifications for coupons, but when I click on them, it opens the app to the screen to set up online ordering, instead of to the coupon. Fill that in, and I get an error. It was actually working for a little while, then they changed it all around. Recently, I right I was clipping coupons, but I used four rewards because it's such a confusing mess.

I like having access to the weekly ad. Regularly see products in the ad listed w/ a "just for U" digital coupon available, for which there is no corresponding coupon. (yes, I know how to search for them). App also freezes often. Update: this is the most aggressively bad app i still actually use. It gets worse not better with every update. Now i can no longer add stuff to a list unless it's in the ad. The best it's good for is to give me a quick sense of what's on sale b4 i pick up a paper flyer

I used to like the app. They updated a few months ago and it stopped working as well...several glitches. Then it was updated again. Now it doesn't have the free items under coupons so I have to go to the service desk, it doesn't update other store coupons regularly, items are not listed or are listed in the wrong category. When I manage to make a list, I have to find the item in my list and put it in the correct category myself. If I want multiple of an item, I also have to switch to my list and

Extremely glitchy of late. Clipping coupon transactions almost always fail and the app signs you out and then unable to sign in. Very difficult to make a pickup when the app gets stuck in a sign-in loop. The app and online do not always sync orders or items in cart so adds difficulty when trying to complete or pickup an order on line when the app fails.

This is the worst most unreliable piece of junk and somebody needs to seriously fix it, it lags and shuts down so many times that it stresses me out to the point of wanting to throw my cellphone or computer, whichever one I'm on at the time and no it doesn't find restaurants or order like a takeout just groceries and some prepared food, if you can find it without the app shutting down. They should have minus star ratings because that's what I would give this app, a minus 10!

Hit or miss. I've used this app for a few years as I'm a regular Acme shopper and I use the rewards points. Used to work pretty good but seems with every update it becomes harder to navigate. After the recent update it is now fully broken. It forces me to a screen asking me to locate a store by ZIP, and no matter what I put in it tells me no stores are found. As I'm standing in front of the store. Furthermore, there is no way to exit this screen and use the app, so I can't access my points.
