Not all events show in month view. I had to install an older version and it is not the + version which I paid for. I did not receive your reply for May 21 and cannot find it in the spam folder. WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM????????????????? OMG...why don't you just resend the reply instead of repeating that you sent me replies? I'll look for them now. I DID read your online help and found "Events not showing in version 2". The data is NOT corrupt because the stock calendar shows ALL the events perfectly. I am using the old 2.0.5 version and it works. Therefore, there IS a bug in version 2.1.4!! My tone is the the tone of FRUSTRATION!

Since newest update I have been unable to create an event with a repeat. If I try to edit an existing event with a repeat since the update all events with that repeat just disappear. EVERY TIME. EVEN IF I JUST CHANGE THE COLOR FOR THE EVENT. I contacted support and only got acknowledgment of my issue, no resolution or advice for a solution. This is very frustrating and makes the app almost useless. My native calendar app ia unable to make a repeating event either.

I've been a long time user of "Informant". I am trying the free version of aCalendar and so far I find it to be much more user friendly, intergration is smoother and it's, in my opinion, easier to use. I have several things to verify yet like how well my outlook calendar updates along with verifying search capabilities for events etc. I paid considerably more for Informant and they admit to not Updating their android side of their program because, "more people use iOS and android is more difficult to write code for than iOS". Therefore the android version is quite behind. They are actually comparing the android system to the Windows Mobile! (That's where I first used Informant and it was far more advanced then any other PIM). Looks like I'm moving to aCalendar very soon!

How task works? ... This app has a "task" function. I hope it'll work like I can check off when completed. I've paid $5.99 for this. It turns out to be no different from a regular event. It's not showing on the month widget. When I open the agenda again, the task is gone. There's a plus sign near where I enter a task, but it doesn't work. I love this app's customization. Hope this can be fixed Update: with exceptional help of Wiebke, it's all good now. Thanks!

I deleted the app today, after years of using it, due to problems with recurring events disappearing after modifying them and newly added events not showing up. My data was backed up to Google and all changes I'd made in aCalender were visible in Google Calendar so the changes were made but just failed to show up in aCalender. I'll just stick with Google till y'all get the app fixed.

I've been using this calendar app for years now. And I really love it. But lately these ads have been popping up and taking over my entire screen. It really pisses me off!! I'm so fed up with it that I'm about ready to delete this app and go elsewhere. It's utterly ridiculous that an ad would come up, take over my entire phone, and I have to sit through it long enough to wait for an x to appear to exit out of it so I can resume what I'm doing! What right do you have delaying MY entire phone?!

Have paid into the app but every Friday a repeating reminder comes up and no matter what way I try to delete it, it always reoccurs and I can never stop it from popping up. It's been doing this every week for months and it's really getting annoying! I did not pay extra for the to do lists feature and now, after trying one and having it perpetually nagging me, I most certainly will not buy it! The whole app is annoying me because of this!!!!!!

I loved this app and am sad and frustrated that I'll have to find a new app. I've used it for years bc it was THE BEST UI for managing my calendar. Navigation, customization, etc. were so good. But the developers have stopped supporting the app, and it's getting increasingly buggy. They've stopped updates and stopped responding to my emails. Update: Might try again when a stable update is released here. Not Beta.

For the last 2++ years, this calendar app has been the absolute BEST, easy to use, most reliable, w/ the cleanest, clearest, easy-on-the-eyes calendar I've EVER used. The free version is great! The paid ad-free & full upgrades are FANTASTIC. Worth EVERY penny but NOT expensive. With this app I coord & sync MULTIPLE (ugly) Google calendars, but in a clean, customizable interface. My only regret: I just switched to iPhone and this app isn't avail for iOS.π NOTHING on iOS compares!

Been using this app for several years and was very happy. However, in the past 2 months or so, repeated events, birthdays and some appointments just disappeared. Since I do know how to use this calendar, I'm ready to look elsewhere. Can't understand how or why this is happening. Once I set up a repeating event it would take some effort to delete or change it. So frustrating π

Literally the BEST calendar app out there on ANY platform. I've been using this one since June 2010. It's quick. Switches between views easily. It's customizable, integrates with all calendar formats. I love the profile views, grouping several calendars into one view. Love swiping between month, week and day. Love the multi copy events.

Great for keeping bday/anni list. Still figuring it out. Must change views to get to various menus/settings to change colors. Used to be able to do that right beside the name entry. Update: apparently I was entering info as event, not bday, so thot I had choice of color. Online help avail. Best advice, play around, clicking various areas & menu items until you find what you are missing. Then write it down for future reference. It's buried there somewhere.

Update- 3/21/24- this is now the second time that items I have manually entered ALL disappeared from my calendar. I looked at the calendar last night and everything was there, today, gone. I have happily used this calendar app for YEARS, but just this morning all my events have suddenly disappeared. I had work meetings and events, my kids' appointments, etc in there, and now I have nothing. I'm really upset about this and need someone to get in touch with me regarding how to restore my data!

Paid for the +version. Working great with Exchange, but my office switched from Exchange to Office 365. I can find no way to add the Office 365 Calendar to this app. Update: I could not not tell you how I did it, but I poked around the app for an hour or so and suddenly found a screen to add an account. To add an Office 365 account you add it with Google Exchange. I hope this helps someone.

Calendar events keep failing to play alert tones. The unforgivable sin of this app is that events not ring at their appropriate time. For example, I have my gym reminder set to 7:30. Last week was the last straw when it went off at 9:45. P.m.. Additionally, you can only set one reminder tone. That is ridiculous. The reminder for your Jim should not be the same ringtone reminder as your meeting for work. People need options and the developers don't care

My only complaint is recently I now would have to pay for extra colors when they've been available to me all these years. Most of my recurring events are in colors that are no longer available to me. Since I put up with more frequent pop up ads than what used to be on here, I think now charging just for extra colors is stupid, especially when it's something you offered free for many years. I didn' circumvented anything. I don't know how to do that. The colors were always just available to me.

[Update: loses one star for very rarely (twice in several years) reverting to an older state, restoring deleted past events and deleting upcoming ones] Love eCalendar! One request: When recurring weekly events are edited en masse, changing the date should automatically adjust the day of the week on which the event recurs as well. That it does not feels counterintuitive, and if the user doesn't doublecheck they might not even notice that the desired effect was not achieved. Thanks!

There are just so many clever things incorporated in this calendar's design: Excellent customization features, like tweaks for how to display in each time span; being able to set the visible time range, yet the calendar will prudently show it with a 30 min buffer space before and after; the little week overview in the corner of the daily (rather than having a daily that's just awkwardly wide); notification customization - I'm out of space. It's AWESOME. I cannot return to other calendars.

This app has some major saving or syncing issues. Calendar events I moved are all of a sudden back to where they were a few days ago and all the new ones I added are deleted. Or if I restart my phone, all my events including ones I updated with additional information are back to how they were days ago. So pissed. I just lost a ton of information again.

I love the app, but I can't use it without event templates. I have irregularly recurring appointments, and I don't want to type in all the details every time. I know that I can copy an event, but that would require scrolling back to find the event that I want to copy. Several calendar apps have a template back, such as Business Calendar 2. The devs should look there if they don't know what I'm talking about.
