Loved the PC version, core mechanics are amazing and game is hella fun and pretty-looking. Android version is playable too. Controls (IMO) are okay. Could use the ability to move buttons around the screen. Encountered a bug in which i have had 3 missions left in third world, being stuck with no way to progress except reset car.

Until I discovered that they left Switch Pro Controller support in this version of the app, I almost gave up since there's no X-input or D-input support and fiddling with remappers is just gross.. So I play with my 8bitdo SN30 pro+ paired to my Note 9 in switch mode and I'm having a blast!

At times the game feels good but most of the time it doesn't. When you think you're drifting, you're not and your multiplier runs out. You think you're going slow, but initiate a drift at just the right angle and you almost instantly pick up speed and slide right into a wall. And even if your brakes save you, your multiplier will run out anyway. The physics in this game are governed by a set of laws that are contradictory to anything else I've experienced.

Seems like it would be fun, if not for the poor controls. You can't even move or resize the touch controls (see Sonic Android ports for how to do precision touch controls right). If one guy can program configurable touch controls, a whole "studio" can. My thumbs are cramped after 5 minutes.

Anyone have luck getting a PS4 controller to work on a p7a ? My controller connects, and works just fine across the system, except this game. This is after clearing caches and reinstalling and at least 2 factory resets of the device later. Happy I didn't pay for something I'm being forced to fix myself(the makers of the game seems to not care). How can you even release a game in this state lol ? Was gonna buy on steam for pc, but imma just sail the seas instead.

The controls are sluggish, clunky, and somewhat unclear. Spent more time riding walls and fishtailing than actually driving. Instructions on how to "counterstser" are unclear and the tutorial presumes too much. Also having a time limit on a tutorial level is ridiculous. How am I supposed to learn the game if I don't have enough time to test the controls? It took me almost 5 minutes just to choose my difficulty because the car refused to go where it was pointed. Incredibly disappointing game.

Great port of a great game, if only the controls (acceleration, brake etc) could be tweaked so you could move and size them to suit your needs, that would be amazing...currently they sit on the very edge of the screen and holding the phone in order to drift properly is hurting my hands lol I still think it is well worth the money, hoping for customizable controls in the future🤞

Great game from the devs of Art of Rally (which is not a mobile game). It doesn't deserve the harsh rating ☹️ The core gameplay is good, but hard, yes. The drift is in your fingers though 🤌. I'd like to be able to customize the controls (move the buttons, make them larger etc.) and change camera settings. Other than that, I'm having great fun.

Cool game! Low graphics, but they are entirely made up for by the phenomenal physics engine, which brings challenging and realistic driving in a high-speed quick reaction environment, which I love!

I've just completed the first world, this review is based off of what I've learned so far. The controlles are smooth, and the red blocks are just for satisfaction. This game indeed require skill which is why you see so many 5 year Olds complaining about this game. Don't worry though you will get use to it if you play it enough. As far as story goes, I saw a statue spit some facts, Learned where drifting originated, and the statue said I will become the master. So far really great game.

Yeah I don't know ey.. It's fun once you get controls and used to the perspective but just not as "fun" as other more arcade style drift games. If you want have fun from the get go then pass on this one. If you enjoy learning how drift in a game then go for it.

I played the game for pry about one hour now finally got past the first part it took a while because it doesn't tell you the objectives you need to complete, but that's the fun of it, you're looking for stuff while drifting around. And just remember, it's not about speed, it's about control. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review. I feel like it could have more to it, but I don't know what you could add to it to make it better, I just feel like it could have more.

Absolutely horrible controls. Half the time the gas or the turn buttons don't respond, even when I see that my finger is definitely in the touch box. This makes controlling a drift near impossible.

Frustratingly addictive! I have deducted a point for the lack of control button configuration options. It is understandable as there is seemingly endless space, tracks and zones to discover and master! I hope to see some configuration in button sizes and/ or position. Also a visual rev/ speed indication!

This is the worst drifting experience I ever had. The control is awful. It's almost like they intentionally make the drifting hard and frustrating in order to make it seems challenging. I cant find any more missions in world 1, but it still says I am missing one mission to proceed. A frustrating game, nothing zen about it.

The game is really fun, but it is difficult. I would not call this a peaceful game, due to the difficulty curve, this is a game you have to practice to get the full experience. I would rate this 5 stars since I can look past the difficult nature but I believe the tutorial needs a re work and the less hand holding nature definitely turns people away. If they were to give a longer tutorial that actually explains more of the terms a more customizetion all my gripes would be solved. Give it a shot.

A good game in concept, however even in easy mode with steer assist on the game is insanely difficult to pass even the first area. I am deleting the game due to it being so difficult to the point of being useless. The course is extremely narrow and you have to maintain just the right speed and enter the corners at exactly the right angle, there is no room for forgiveness which with touch screen controls forget about it. You crash just once, start over, and you will crash a lot.

Started off an not bad but like other comments the controls are terrible. I drifted before and I assure you, vehicles in reality are easier to control than what's being shown here. Plus the missions are either broken or missing. I completed all the tasks on first stage and the game claims I'm one short. Not sure why other than the game is bugged.

Genuinely my favorite game I've ever played on a phone. Once you get used to the timing and being able to slide, this game becomes a serious blast! Start on hard physics since easy mode is like trying to drift with traction control on. The physics great and the levels are fun. Was genuinely sad when there were no more levels, but I still regularly jump in and to try to beat the high scores. Highly recommended :) TL:DR - Game is amazing. Definitely a leaning curve, but so worth it!

I really like this game, and it has the potential to be one of the best. But the issues with the controls are impossible to ignore. The turn buttons have some really strange hit boxes, and I find myself hitting dead zones often. To get this game up to par, the buttons need to be consistent and adjustable. I really hope this is implemented soon, because I love what this game aims to be.
