The last month or so the app regularly won't connect. I can run speed tests and access the internet but the app won't open. This is really annoying

The most recent update caused the app not to work, tried the reinstall and couldn't remember password, didn't have access to follow forgot password instructions as you can't do this on the app, now the account is blocked and I have to visit the branch not a happy camper :-(

The app is great, but would love to see OTP's being sent to the app for when your outside the country for online shopping, just like how Fnb and Standard bank do it. Edit They added the function long ago maybe in 2021 am happy with Absa😊

everything was fine until I upgraded the app, before I could unlink accounts and show them on the screen, now after upgrading I mistakenly unlink one of my accounts, now it says and I quote " open more accounts to start managing", what I want to know is where is my account and my money

ABSA App works perfectly for me. It is my preference. I am not even well versed any longer banking on the computer. I'm a big fan of the ABSA app for all my banking transactions.

I'm happy with my Absa app. I can do almost everything in my app. There is no need for me to fall into long queues anymore. I can play lotto, cash send, tranfer, get bank statement, tax number, i can lock my card and change limit.

Simple user interface, easy to get info that's needed. Honestly just lacks a bit of creativity in it's design. Other than that not a bad app

The app is amazing and user friendly. My only issue Absa Rewards is still not functioning on the App and it's been months, I'm not able to complete or participate on my challenges month-to-month.

Very good. I just wish when you making multiple payments that it keeps that payment on the screen and doesnt jump back to the first payment then you have to scroll down again to the next payment you want to make.

Very satisfied with the app and services. Thank you very much for regular updates and notifications. Would definitely recommend the app to all ABSA clients for convenience, safe and secure banking, providing very useful banking services straight to the customer whilst enabling the consumer to stay on the move and up to date.

App is great especially how your accounts are linked. But it would be nice to have some improvements on the payment schedule feature as you can schedule future payments if you do not have funds. Also if I'm looking for proof of payment of an old transaction Im not sure we're to access that

The business banking app hangs on same log in screen. E.g. payment or balance. The app does not allow you to move to another screen. The individual account app is not accessible at the worse times... around month end. Some immediate payments are not reflected within minutes and on numerous occasions... duplicate payments were made

Export transactions in CSV format does not work. I get "No app can perform this action" error, while I have a CSV app installed. I reported the issue via the Absa app. Did everything the support staff said I must do, but the problem remains. I think the issue needs attention from the app developers. I moved from (another bank whose name I won't mention) because their app suddenly stopped working every month end and I had several other issues with their app. Absa Banking app doesn't have any those issues at all. Works seamlessly 🤌🏾I only wish there could be a way for it to work without requiring data though as you often need to log in to purchase data. Other than that, great app.

The app won't allow me to purchase anything or even send money, everytime it gets to the primary device verification it keeps on counting down for multiple times until they run out of verification retries and because of that the app has totally become useless to me and if it's not complaining about technical issues, it's WiFi or data connection which are both connected very well and only start having problems only where the app is concerned

Notifications go missing, credit card authorizations fail for no reason, impossible to get to notifications in the app itself. It goes up and down more often than a yo-yo. The ABSA experience is a terrible one ftom start to end

App used to work fine. I am not sure what they changed but the experience is horrible now. 4 out 5 times of trying to access the app I get an error message stating that there is a technical error on the bank's side. If you do manage to acceas the app, the same error message keeps popping up when yiu are busy transacting. Very inconvenient.

What an amazing app. Registration was quick and efficient, customer friendly, with an awesome client resolution. The best of all is the ability of delivery of your transaction card which provides the track your delivery on the app and delivered on your preferred location, which are three options; comfort of your own home, work or colleticking at your nearest absa branch. I truly recommend anyone to try it. 👌We'll done Absa you did it again.

The App is quite awesome, registration is very easy and efficient, it's also easy to navigate through the App, it's not cluttered with unnecessary stuff as such it has a neat interface. The absence of a virtual card is a bit of a downer and the "Log-in Push Notifications" get too much that I've switched off push notifications altogether, if there could be options to choose which push notifications to receive that'd be great. And Absa Advantage is back which is very nice 😋

It does most things you'd expect without a problem. BUT very frustratingly if you are setting up and paying a new beneficiary you cannot refer to an invoice you're paying in another app (like email) and then go back to your ABSA banking app and continue where you left off. It kicks you out and reverts to the log on screen so you must start all over. If you only have 1 device and no paper copy you eventually (after 4x) have to either give up or hope you have captured all the details correctly.
