Works beautifully and I'm so happy that you have a bluetooth-driven auto-connect. My car kept wirelessly connecting to my car at random times during the day because the USB turns on occasionally. Now it won't connect unless the car is turned on and the phone sees the car's Bluetooth connection available. Perfect!

Works great. Had to change one setting, but after that it's worked flawlessly and connects with no issues. And, as a bonus, my phone connects more quickly and the "SD card has been removed" error (2019 Chevy Colorado) has seemingly been eliminated. This is the only crowdfunded project I've ever supported, and I'm so glad I did. Worth every penny. Many thanks to the developers.

Okay. This is awesome! This is what I was wishing Android Auto was from the get-go. I have a 2017 Mustang GT and a Google Pixel 5 phone. Setting up was sort of a pain, only in that I was still using my original short Ikea USB-C cable that I'd had in the car. It allowed Android Auto pass through, so I figured it would work. But would not connect. I tried switching options in the settings of the AAWireless app. Nothing. So I decided to swap out the cable with the one provided and it instantly popped up. That's why manufactures always mention using the provided cable. AA Wireless does not. They should! The provided cable is also a much better length for what I wanted. I have not done a full-on test drive with it yet, but love that I can change the DPI. I switched it to 100 and am now able to have the Maps and album artwork side-by-side. (your results may be different) This really does open up your Android Auto. Thanks!

After numerous tries this thing is broken for Chevy 2019 Blazers. I've tried the beta, I've tried the regular. I've tried different cords. This used to work, and work well! Now, I'm in a continual reset aa and aaw (note: aa works flawlessly as wired and wireless competition works flawlessly too). Faq, nothing there. Team wants a bug report that doesn't generate when things go wrong, it generates when everything works. I've moved on. This is unfortunately trash now. It was a great ride. 😢

Excellent Experience, Its always worked as intended for me with my 2018 Grand Cherokee and S22 Ultra. No complaints. I like that I could customize the dpi and get the side by side app feature on my Head Unit... Nice unexpected bonus. *Update* still working great. I found that using the Start/Stop feature I could prevent my phone from connecting to it when my vehicle is off and I'm nearby. I just chose my radios Bluetooth connection when enabling Start/Stop instead of AAWireless Bluetooth.

Works great, there are some spots that will drop the signal. But they happen at the same places, the same way, every time you pass those spots. Not sure if they are some specific frequency or what, but it's not a huge problem for me. I love how you can separate the Bluetooth from the android auto in case you want to use a different device to talk on.

Works even better than I had hoped. Not only does it make my Android auto wireless it it is extra features such as whether I listen through my earpods or through my car is a setting so many benefits. Two things I hope they address in future releases. One, sometimes it cuts out for a second. I think it's caused by interference based on radio waves coming in and out of the car from from as I drive through heavy city traffic. And two make it so it's easy to switch between two phones.

Has a mind of it's own like no other app I've ever used. Connects when you don't want it to, including turning on Bluetooth when you want it off. Disconnects randomly and forces you to engage with it when driving, despite telling that's bad (which it is). If I had a choice I'd never use this app again.

I love it when it works. I have a '19 Subaru Outback Ltd and a Google Pixel 6 Pro. The Subaru infotainment SW, GP6P, AAW app and device are at their latest non-beta versions (Android 14 April '24). But I have to factory reset and set up the AAWireless again about every 3-5 days. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps, tried almost all combinations of dongle and stop & start modes, pass-through, and read all the information at the website. I don't know if the issue is Subaru or AAWireless.

After a long time if no problems I had some issues connecting after I switched phones. After several months, many troubleshooting sessions later, I found a tip online that said to FULLY reset your factory radio and clear ALL phone settings and start completely fresh setup. That worked. I'm now on a new phone and everything connects and works quickly and reliably. 2024 update: working flawlessly every time and the app and firmware keep getting meaningful updates.

I absolutely love my AAWireless device and it's amazing settings. BUT it seems after yesterday's update to the application they removed the force connect widget. That has made troubleshooting and quickly forcing the connection while driving when it all of a sudden stops working (The stopping working part isn't AAWireless, it is my vehicle specific issue) but regardless removing the widget has made this much more of a hassle to try to force connect. Please readd the force connect widget.

Used to connect reliably on my OnePlus 8T but seems like it disconnects 4/5 times an hour. I have a BOSS BE10ACP and it worked great for the longest time. Last update screwed up something. I'll see if today's update improves things. I don't want to rely on wired setup, now that With CoolWalk update changing DPI value in AAWireless gives me so many options for screen layout. 4/23: Latest updates have been able to keep things stable again and I like UI update. Happy days are here again!

Update: Editing my previous review because google or AAWireless has fixed the bug that bricked these wireless adapters . So, I do enjoy it and it does work fairly easily now. It's nice not having to use a cord on my phone all the time. Original: I've given up on it. It worked for a while but in the last month it has become a brick that constantly wants to start over. I've tried to use tech support but honestly at this point it's easier to just plug in the phone.

I use this app very often and typically love the convenience. However, when streaming music, I tend to notice a very short interruption that occurs every few minutes that lasts a very short amount of time, but still noticable especially during long, mind-numbing drives. This never happened when wired directly to the car. I would like to restate that I absolutely love this app + product, but for $80 I am a bit disappointed as I have expected better audio transmission :/.

I bought this top replace my Motorola MA1. The MA1 was awesome when it first came out. It still works in an older vehicle, but my newset vehicle uad frequent disconnect issues. Does the Aawireless dosconnect ever? Yes, but in areas of high wireless interference (close to a cell tower). This also has Apple CarPlay in beta. It works well, I just wish the Apple app was available to enable device switching. So far, I am impressed.

I had experienced some bugs when I first upgraded to my pixel 8. But those have since been mostly resolved. AAW works great most of the time. It occasionally doesn't start (maybe one out of 10 times) so I dropped one star. When that happens I have to pull the AAW USB collection then plug it back in and give our a minute or two to connect.

Pixel 8 Pro: Still need to switch the network in AAWireless to 2.4GHz to keep the connection stable, otherwise it will just disconnect after some minutes. Loved the connect/reconnect widget. The rare cases where it's needed, it was really convenient. Unfortunately that was removed for some reason. :( Great product overall though.

This used to MOSTLY work for Galaxy S10 on fw 3.3.2, but it always lost connection near heavy interference zones like power transformers. Recent fw updates made it even worse (3.5.0), losing connection more often in arbitrary areas! It's extremely frustrating. Idk how interference gets worse with updates, but this actively worsened the product. Thankfully I could revert to 3.3.2 where things worked most of the time, but I'm hopeful a future update will fix this in all zones..

Got this on Kickstarter, my original phone was too old (Bluetooth stack) to connect to it. Now I'm on a Pixel Fold and the device won't connect to my car. I try the troubleshooting system in the app, which prompts me to hit the Support button, but all that does is close the app. No support email, no support form, nothing. Come on!!! Just setup a support form on your website like everyone else. At this point, I 100% do NOT recommend this device.

it works great most of the time but in certain locations of the city it'll cut out and restart constantly until I'm past that intersection. Edit: I've had many firmware updates since this review. So far since the last update, it hasn't been cutting out anymore. I assumed since the dongle connected to your phone through Wi-Fi, done buildings with strong Wi-Fi signal might interfere with the connections. But it must've been a bug that they fixed. I will continue to monitor to see
