All I can say is, I dont recommend playing if you only expect nice developed meaningful romance cause there is none. Seems more like a life status rising game with many questions about life and immortality and you can choose to be a "hero" or just let everything crumble in the end alone or with ur RO. Feels like nothing you do here have any impact or meaning, guessing that's probably what the story was going with in the first place... 😐

I love the storyline I love the characters the stories and the sheer size of the book. It makes me feel free to maneuver around the whole story which spurns me to play more this is a very good one I recommend.

I really liked it. There's a very high level of freedom to pursue different activities. The characters are unique and interesting. The ending touches on some deeply thought provoking and philosophical subjects. Lots of replayability. Well worth the price.

Wow... was not expecting it to be that good. Romantic, sad, existential, a lot of interesting characters and differently themed stories with different atmospheres, and very replayable. Good job author. Hope you write more of these

This is what I was looking for in 'Hosted games' games. The immortality, nobility, fantasy and fiction and a chance to have your own subordinates (Called minions in-game) and more. This is cool, you even have a lair. Somebody, recommend please another game like this, especially with the part of me being immortal and me having minions of my own.

Very beautiful, very bittersweet, and very emotional. It tugs on your heart strings. I am someone who enjoys a emotionally gripping story so I recommend this to anyone who also finds enjoyment in these types of stories. I have to admit my two favorite characters were Priminee and Satiana. There story for me was the most emotionally gripping for me and I shed a few tears at the end of there stories. PS. Would love to see a potential sequel if possible

It rivals my love for the mass effect series. A lot of passion and effort was put into this. Its a refined read Highly recommend give it a shot the story development and character development are SSS+ tier if i could copulate with this book I would.

Oh boy this game has become one of my most fave HoG/CoG titles in a while. There's so much to discover and the game's plot lines run deeper than you can possibly think. Kudos to the author. I wish everyone can give this game a chance. It's a rare find. It's well-written, well paced, and the dozens of characters feel real and relatable.

Although the full price waa a bit much, this was one of the better stories. It always has either a bittersweet ending, tragic, or pure irony. There isn't any good ending, but that's fine. The story itself is amazing, even though I'm slightly sad at how it goes.

Amazingly written game. A poignant and meaningful look on immortality. The mature themes are handled wonderfully. There's a ton of replayability as well, there's SO much you can achieve and do with your lifetimes through just learning, being in relationships, or living out the side stories. It does lean very heavily into the bitter side of bittersweet. But I for one love the existentialism and tenderness the author conveys here. Also, minor, but you can be trans! Really liked that :)

I throughly enjoyed this game. My largest issue is how the span of time was inconsistent during my various playthroughs. If there were an option to slow down time to experience life wth each of them more I would.

I have played around 20 choice of games and hosted games and this was the worst. The characters were very 1 dimensional to the point I didnt care what happened to any of them (contrast this with the incredibly realistic characters in wayhaven). You also couldnt get out of relationships once they started, and it's very pushy with its gender fluidity concepts. I get it, but if i say im a straight female quit pushing relationships with female characters. Respect your audiences preferences.

This story has the best replayability I have ever seen and it's like multiple books and stories in one place. The world is populated with numerous romance options: both mortals and immortals. Some of the relationships with immortals can last the entire game. There are three unique characters you can play through the game as and all of them have well developed backstories. The game randomizes itself and every playthrough is different. Highly recommend. This story is 🔥.

It's a story worth telling. Very sad in the first place. I like the existentialism put into the idea. Still, author for some reason emphasizes the "bitter" in "bittersweet" too hard. I don't find the positive emotions I felt reading it quite as strong as negative ones. That's why the contrast between emotions didn't hurt as good as I'd like it to. Maybe the happier parts of the story should've been fleshed out better. Maybe it's a matter of taste.

At first, I liked it. Played the limited version a couple times, and it was nice. Then I spent the best 5 pounds of my life, and I witnessed a very, very good game. I loved it. Edit: after I finished it, I stopped playing for a while. Then I went back to do some achievements. There is just so much stuff to do, even after the game ends. Again, best 5 pounds of my life.

Not what I was expecting. Putting it into words the best I Can; What I was expecting was a Full Playthrough exploring the world while meeting new friends who are also Romantic Intrests. I was beyond Estatic when I read that they would differ from Dragons, Vampires, Sirens, more than 12 characters to romance! My Joy however was cut short when I realized how the story was setup, it was like parts of a story that is not really canon but IS canon. Also every character I romanced ended up dying.

This is a work that I've experienced time and time again and still enjoy coming back to. The way it handles the relationships, both temporal and final, capture me. I especially love the freedom in choices available for picking and maneuvering relationships. This is something that left me wanting to connect with more and more characters while still enjoying what the game has to offer. I can understand complaints of open-endings and "missed" opportunities, but I find them a virtue of this work.

A fantastic idea about a game as an immortal that's weighed down by its own pretentiousness. While I can't say there was much depth to most of the characters, I did enjoy filing in the blanks of my character's life and imagining what could be. This was destroyed, however, when the ending came more or less out of nowhere and began spewing pseudo intellectual, cryptic nonsense all over the place. Granted, that had always been on the sidelines of the story, but it got really bad when (slight spoilers, I guess) the protagonist gets stuck in a time loop. No matter how many times I played through it attempting to increase my attributes so I could, theoretically, get a decent ending out of it, the game said no. After several hours stuck in this loop, I realized the game is forcing you toward a very specific ending which you have no control over; not even the vaguest illusion of choice. You are, essentially, battling it out with the author himself, who wants this to end in tragedy. Which I suppose is the whole "point" of the game, but only works if you already agree with it's nihilistic point of view, or else are willing to be shamed and bullied into agreeing with the author that all life is meaningless and will ultimately end. The author seemingly can't figure out that the story only ends a specific way because he made the decision to end it that way, and wouldn't consider any other scenarios. Ultimately, the game just left me feeling disappointed and annoyed. If that's what the author was going for, then kudos, I guess? Anyway, if you're looking for a game about playing an immortal in a fun way... Given the chance to do it again, I'd pass. On the other hand, if you're looking to be railroaded through a philosophy treaties loosely disguised by vaguely interesting Cthulhu concepts, far less interesting smut, and random, not-even-trying-to-hide-it twilight rip-offs? This is the place for you.

Solemn and enjoyable. It may not be the game for many but after playing through it several times, it really seems to fall into the perspective of the futility of fate. There are beautiful stories it carries but the limited time and fear tied with the game/lore explanation makes it bittersweet. I enjoyed it in the ups and downs. I did not expect to love the prince as much as I ended up.

This isn't a game for lighthearted romance fyi. It's depressing and deep, and has a lot to say about mortality, life, death, love, loss, grief, and the value and meaning of autonomy. Great storytelling, and I love the characters. Even though the actual narrative interactions aren't expansive, the characters are compelling and nuanced, even - or maybe especially - the "mayflies". I cried a few times, and have thought about the game long past finishing it. Just wish there was more Nyeru content 😭
