In this turn-based strategy game based on A Song of Ice and Fire novel series by G.R.R Martin, experience the wars and intrigues of Westeros by playing as one of the 6 Great Houses. In A Game of Thrones: The Board Game – Digital Edition, the ambitious Lannisters, the stalwart Starks, the cunning Martells and other Houses are struggling to seize the crown. Have yet to be able to finish a single game. Have had this app for over a year and the same bugs that existed break then, still exist to this day. I was extremely excited to play this game and told my friends they should all get it as well. Now I look like an idiot. We've tried playing dozens of games and have never successfully been able to finish a single one. Even the single-player games bug out and won't finish. The fact that they are still selling this game in its current state is criminal

Looks great, when played 1st game against AI the game froze when it wouldn't complete a naval battle between two AI players well into the game. I had to forfiet the game to be able to continue. This is the 1st but bad, bug of an otherwise good game that needs fixing ASAP. Update The several games I have played since have been fine, including the dance with dragons upgrade. It can appear to be frozen when the zoom setting is changed but it unfreezes by changing the zoom back again

A faithful adaptaion of the board game albeit with a few game breaking bugs, duch as: Upon attacking lands with power tokens only, sometimes combat is intiated. Upon attacking lands with power tokens only, sometime control of the area remains in the hands of the defender, wherein he takes control of the units as well. Aside from the bugs, it would be a well polished game if an option to verifiy a decision was made, so canceling attacks or raids or the steel blade doesn't happen by accident.

The game is awesome. Making into an app is awesome. Expect we haven't finished a game in months because it's constantly freezing. Especially if Moat Cailin gets attacked. The constant bugs make it unplayable.

This game is trash. Bugs make it completely unplayable, most times you're unable to even complete a match. Basic mechanics such as choosing a card become impossible, and completely legal moves are punished with a cascade of crippling bugs that grow exponentially as the match progresses. Save your money, this one is rotten from the ground up.

Good game, but there are some issues. The minimum timer should be 15-20 minutes. I almost never finish a game with more then 10 minutes of my time used. The second, more serious, issue is that the game can time out on you, but it doesn't tell you that you've lost connection to the game. It says you are waiting for the action that was active when it timed out. Very often I can't reconnect to the game. Edit: Currently the game does not work for anyone, we can't take actions once the game starts.

There is a minor bug where if lannisters play the tyrion card you can't switch to the card furthest to the left. It's frustrating when your trying to strategise but can't act out your plan because you can't choose the card you want. This can be the difference between losing a game and winning so I think it should be fixed as soon as possible. Good game otherwise in my opinion.

It literally doesn't function as an app, the chat box thing is messed up if you click it once at anytime it leaves a overlay on the screen that you cannot click anywhere without it popping up the text box again, no work around I want a refund. Ps works great on pc through epic game store if your stuck and need a GoT fix

The online multiplayer game is full of bugs. I played around 10 games and never managed to get to the end. For one reason or another it gets stuck at a certain moment of the game and there is no way to make it work again. Even getting out of the game and entering again, it is still stuck. Please solve the issue. I love the board game, but this online version is impossible to play with.

I love the desktop version of the game, but the Android one has some serious bugs, especially in Lannister Challenges. For instance, It will count me as defeated in a battle against AI with Tides of Battle on despite me having more points. It also will force me to destroy one of MY units after I win a battle against AI with casualties on enemy's side. Please check this out. I wish you all the best.

Despite the previous reviews, I decided to buy the game, hoping the reviews were exaggerated. Well, it turns out they are true. Started 2 games, switched for 1 sec, and I wasn't able to reconnect. Edit: after the patch I was able to finish few games, but still have lots of bugs. Especially with Live games and Stupid AI Bot moves. Developers has a lot more work to do. Is this still beta version?

Very disappointed, it always lags when I am playing online. It takes forever to get a group together. And when you finally do. It lags and you can't play or the AI takes over you. If I could file for a reimbursement I so would! So dissatisfied, because is a great game, but the interface doesn't support the multiplayer, and it's supposed to be quite an easy algorithm to play online. Anyway. If they could fix that I could increase my rating, but so far, very disappointed.

Too many bugs at present to make purchasing merited. Bugs include (I see multiple references below by others): 1. Saved games won't load; 2. Saved games disappear so unable to recommence (no option to select); 3. Mid-game freezes whereby you then have no option but to forfeit the game (occurs on sea battles; AI card selection). Nb. Developer has suggested zooming in and to remedy - I find this only sometimes works. When you do get going, it is an excellent recreation of a brilliant board game

The game itself is good but there are a lot of things that make it a poor experience. It is VERY easy to hit the wrong button when making a move, negating your turn entirely (what looks like a move confirmation cancels it). It usually takes me 5-6 tries opening and closing the game in order for it to allow me to the Lobby, otherwise I get stuck on the home screen. There are also no notifications that tell you when it is your turn, which makes it very easy to time out the game and lose it.

The app is great but the flaws can really destroy the experience. If you have already played the board game, you know how epic the game will be - only because it's online it's way faster. However, in online matches it keeps getting stuck and you're having to constantly reboot matches. And in regular games against the AI, the AI makes the same moves more or less all the time, often time really random nonsense moves. If these can be corrected, I wouldn't be surprised if the game becomes a success.

Don't buy, game is buggy and your on going matches disappear. Friend and I have played and I'd say close to 80% of our games disappeared and we couldn't finish them. Other bugs weren't as game breaking but this is terrible, until it's fixed don't bother. Game play is great and just like the board game. Hope this app is fixed soon. Until then requesting a refund.

So many bugs. Game keeps freezing and you come back to have your turn skipped. My wifi is fine so it is on the server end. -Any time you try to chat the keyboard will freeze open. - Any time you refresh the page every alliance event continues to flash across the screen - If you're turn times out before every move is done, events already ordered will go away and be randomly executed.

The boardgame is fantastic, the execution to app is cool, the glitches make it unplayable. I have played 5 games now and haven't been able to finish one. The glitch always happens during an AI sea battle. The developers will respond to this by asking me to submit a detailed report to them. My response is for them to play the game once, they'll find a bug that makes it unplayable. Please fix this game, disappointing release.

Great game, annoying bugs. I've played for over a year now. The gameplay is fun but it used to bug during ai naval battles. The new patch supposedly fixed this, however since the patch, the chat window continues to open after every button push. It is really annoying and makes playing the game challenging. Specifically, if I use the chat function in game or create a game and name it: both of these start the sequence where once I close the chat, it pops up repeatedly afterwards. Very frustrating.

As many of the feedback have stated, this game is full of bugs. I'm unable to progress in the TUTORIAL because the game will not allow me to play a house card in a battle. After restarting and having it happen again, I'm no longer interested in wasting more time or lose more important games. If the tutorial is bugging out, I can only imagine what could happen in full games. Sorry, love the boardgame and the game graphics look great, but can't get behind bad execution.
