honestly I've used this app for years and loved it, but the last year or so they changed a few things and it's destroyed the usability for me. 1) the preview image seems to be more compressed or grainy or something (looks pixelated almost sometimes), making it very difficult to actually see what the effect of edits are going to actually be (particularly when working with tools like sharpen) and 2) now I get pop up ads for +packs I decided not to buy like, every 5 seconds and it's irritating.

Love the filters, effects and interface. Hate that you can't share photos to the app. It always crashes. If I edit a photo using another app, I can't share to this seamlessly and just keep going. I have to exit, go to the app and open the photo. Small thing, but it adds steps that should not be necessary. Revised 5/30/19: So buggy. This is constantly crashing, like it hasn't been maintained/upgraded in years. I'm disappointed I have purchased filters for an app that only works 30% of the time.

I love the editing capability and filters but this app seriously needs to add the ability to mass import images. Importing one at a time makes it incredibly tedious. There are also features on the iOS version that aren't available on Android and that SUCKS, like selective edits and Clarity.

In the past, I've loved A Color Story. The last few days I've tried to use the app and cannot access the filters. It appears as a blank screen beneath the photo. When I try to go to the in-app store to restore the filters, the app crashes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app which hasn't made a difference. I hope they fix this soon.

I really like this app and absolutely think the $25 a year is worth it for all the filters and tools. I use this to edit photos for my online store and my Instagram account. It's very user friendly, not at all glitchy, and has many of the same tools I used on Photoshop but in a much more user friendly aspect. There are no later but tools like curves I use frequently. Only two complaints. I can't download it on my Chromebook and can't batch edit. Would really like those features.

I've been using this app for a long time and it is my consistent go-to for phone photo editing. I am a professional photographer but when I just want to edit my phone photos, this app does a great job with color and light adjustments. I love all the presets! I find the preset packs are totally worth the few dollars they cost. Which is nothing compared to actual photographer preset costs. But even the free presets do a great job.

My favorite editing app for product photos, but yesterday all my favorite filters were deleted, and now I cannot find my favorite "bright" filter in any of the download options. Irritating to have to re-download filters again as well. I use this daily, but really disappointed, as I pay yearly for a subscription, and the two or three filters I use the most are not to be found.

I am new to Color Story and am still learning it but I absolutely enjoy all the filters and tools that are included in the VIP package. I would suggest signing up for the unlimited access. It's only $24 a year and if you're on social media everyday than it's worth it. It creates a lot of dynamic range in photos that could otherwise look or be boring.

as always, Android version lacks some of the best features Apple version gets. I (stupidly) purchased the option to use a 2nd account except, guess what? It doesn't let you! Contacted the developer with absolutely NO response. This app would be great if they gave it ALL the features the Apple version had. I'm sick of Android always getting the short stick with these apps. Two thumbs down. Do not recommend.

As a professional photographer of two decades and a film school graduate, this is my favorite photo editing app. The filters optimize on the latest editing trends for quick editing. When you want to have fun with custom edits, it also provides the ability to do manual adjustments. I appreciate being able to control each color's hue, saturation and luminance.

your app is amazing for instagram photos, especially that it can take photos in square format! my only problem is that all my photos are out of focus and i have to use the sharpen tool to fix them. maybe the problem is with a long shutter speed time, as it seems the camera takes a few seconds to take a picture? anyways, i hope you can help with this and fix it, because this is an awesome app, and would be everything i could ask for if the photos are in focus! thanks you! 🙂

DON'T BUY ANYTHING IN-APP! The app has had some serious bug issues lately, you can't upload a photo without the app crashing and closing out. I've been using the app for years and really enjoyed using it in the past. A few weeks ago I opened the app so I could get back to using it, and purchased a bunch of filter and effect packs. But I haven't been able to use them at all because photos can't be uploaded :/ Don't make the same error I made, I suggest waiting until they fix the issues first

*UPDATED* Thank you!! It seems to be working again now. Thanks for the help! Keeps crashing and can't edit. Not sure what happened but all of a sudden I can't use the app. Can't edit or anything, it just crashes. I've purchased way too many filters and really hoping they'll be restored when it's back up and running. Please fix!

Update: I haven't been able to use the app for several months now. When you try to save an edited picture, it crashes, so you lose all your work. It's so disappointing that this app continually has issues. The difference this time is that they haven't been able to figure it out (that's pretty much the response I get, with no timeframe or any idea as to how they'll fix it). So now I'm left with a useless app that I invested $ on. It just seems like they don't care, esp if you have an Android.

I've used this app for several years now to edit my pictures. I absolutely love it. Recently, my phone went through a system update, causing this app to crash every time i tried opening it. I immediately notified the support team through an email, and within 24 hours, they got back to me and fixed the issue right away, and I was able to get right back in with no problem. They were very helpful! Great app!

I used to love this app--I've been using it for about 4 years now. This past year, I've had issues where effects need to be re-downloaded over and over again. Recently, nearly all of my downloaded effects are just blank when I open them. It's one of the best/most unique features, and it's such a bummer that it's completely useless now. Any devs have a known fix to this bug? My app is updated.

Great editor when it works. Unfortunately, I've run into the recent problem where the app keeps erasing all my custom filters and forcing me to redownload its filter packs again. A year+ of work destroyed with no warning. I thought this could have been because my app was out of date, but the same problem happened again just a few days after updating everything. Bummer.
