Amazing app for me up until very recently, with a great developer that's very responsive to feedback. My only problems are that the app doesn't save user created stuff anywhere (other than manually saving char sheets)(so uninstalling it or other errors can easily wipe everything) and that for some reason it's stopped letting me level up ("you don't have internet" when I clearly do, nothing I've done, even uninstalling the app multiple times, has fixed it)

Overall I really like the app. My only 2 complaints are on how slow updates for new Unearthed Arcana are and that even when on internet sometimes the add to level up won't play and there isn't really anything you can do about it but wait for it to randomly work again. Very annoying if you want to level up a few levels at once which I do as a way to roll independently for each level

This app is fantastic, it looks great, runs smoothly, it only has a few hiccups. it crashes whenever i try to attach a picture to a character, and currently I dont see any sort of compendium for magic items and adventuring gear and whatnot. Another feature that would be helpful is a way to save and store encounters, and perhaps chain them together into adventures and campaigns. All in all it is a beautiful app that I think has a lot of potential to be amazing.

I really enjoy this app - bought the add-free version within an hour of using it. However, I seem to continually get adds anyway - they only seem to go away if I enter the settings menu periodically, at which time the "remove ads" button is visible for a half-second before disappearing. It would be great if this could be corrected. Aside from a fix for that, there are only 2 features I'd really love to see added: 1) the ability to link to spell descriptions in the NPC pages. For example, while in the combat tracker, if I have a Great Old One Warlock in the initiative, and I bring up the NPC's stats, I would love to be able to simply tap on one of the spells in order to view it from there, without needing to back out, got to spells, and find the spell. 2) I enjoy making NPCs and custom monsters, but find the process to be tedious on a phone. If I could edit the monsters via text file on my PC or something, that would be a huge time-saver. Additionally, the ability to change the order of abilities and actions on the Monster stat pages would be useful - I can be a little annoying if I want to add a new action, but it comes in below the legendary actions.

It is a pretty good app! I especially enjoy the ability to include a character portrait along with the sheet. The only problem I have with the app is when I level up to a level I would normally choose a subclass, it chooses for me! I have a feeling it is not intentional, and I would like it to be fixed. Another thing, I noticed a bug. Its minor, but if you hold down on the Animal Companion icon, the character portrait and name will change to the animal companion's. I thought you should know.

Sometimes the IAP to remove ads doesn't always keep the ads away. It's a minor inconvenience, but restarting the app works. Please fix. Edit: it doesn't happen anymore, it's just the banners that pop-up sometimes. It's a really good and useful app tbh. Cheers. Edit 2: Thanks for being so attentive and keeping it updated. It's still a very useful app.

last edit I'll do, it's always been a 10/10 but now the only problems is no lore on the races, and no magical items, that's the only problems, but it's the absolute best character creator while being good at managing a party, and the monsters, 10/10 character creator and it's also great at everything else EDIT: well I lied, about the last edit but I wish there was a option to copy your sheet down into text, still 10/10

This app is great, but for the character sheets, I wish you could edit the information (i.e., the bonds, ideals, etc) without needing to hit edit sheet and just to head to that category every time. I can't really edit the languages if I gain a new one unless I go as if I'm editing my class and stats and such.

Though my previously faced issue of app freezing has not subsided, I had to change my rating towards this app because of just how good it is at everything. It's very good for DMs who need accurate control of their party, and great for players with a customizable character sheet. Everyone should like the easy to understand UI and the incredibly large and accurate database of information provided. I have tried some of the other apps, and none are NEARLY as good as this. 9/10 (for freezing issues)

I love the app features for the phone, but I wish that the app was supported on other platforms/app stores. I tried transferring my character from my phone to my iPad, but the app kept crashing on my iPad. I found out it's because the versions were different. The other suggestion I would make is having the option to switch around levels for multiclassing, or allow multiclassing at character creation rather than by leveling up. Other than that it's so convenient to use!

Sometimes you get banner adds even though you've paid to remove them, but a restart of the app fixes it. Otherwise, it contains extremely useful information and the character sheet is very serviceable, if not entirely ideal. There are a few things I would change, but when looking at other similar apps, it's clear that this one is far, far superior to all other alternatives.

So the app is good. The two stars are because of a bug that I have found NOTHING on. For some reason. I am completely unable to access the file searcher. So I can't add character sheets and such to my 5e companion. This is an issue. Because I can't restore previous characters or add classes. Clicking the button. The one with a file with a magnifying glass. Does nothing.

The character creation is super easy and allows you to access everything for your character super easily! The only thing is sometimes certain information you type in won't save, but if you add it as a note then you can keep all that information at the ready. I feel removing most typed information would be helpful, and make the app the perfect beginner friendly tool.

Unreliable app. Unable to attune custom weapons. Ads play even if you paid for app. Exp points can spontaneously reset. Some spell descriptions leave out vital information such as the radius of effect. Doesn't track encumbrances (or i couldn't find it). I won't ask for a refund because I like where the app is going but having my character's exp reset at lvl 8 was a huge bummer.

I tried to use this app but it would be pretty difficult to use when multiclassing. I want the option to see my combat abilities as a section but the only way to see those abilities is to go through sub menus. My mulitclass character was having issues showing the second class. And finally there needs to be the option to build a full character from the new character screen instead of basic info and then requiring to watch 30 ads to get tour character to the level you want. Paper is easier rn.

This is, hands down, the best app of its kind for Android. Creating and leveling characters is a breeze, and keeping track of spells and reading what they do at a glance is top tier. I think the app, for what it is, deserves 5 stars, but there are a few hiccups. Some races and classes don't seem 100% supported. The Warforged race could use a little polishing, and a "wild shape" feature for Druids, where you could choose a wildshape and be able to see the stats for that form, would be excellent.

Edit: Turns out I paid the ad removal on a different account and for some reason the app uses another. I'd have to remove the alt account to not see ads and level up, lame. Oh well, at least the issue's solved. No problem on devs part! —— OG Review: Gotta love it when you pay $3 and some to remove ads only for it to return a year later and there's no "Restore Purchases" option to fix it. Really? You got to watch an ad to each time you level up or multi-class?
