Paywall/credit wall for reading a received text before you subscribe. After using credits, this buggy app refuses to open an important text I was expecting, forever lost to its programming.

Scam, I signed up for the free trial still charged me $30 and it won't even let me use it. I want a refund I didn't even want to fully sign up yet and the fact that you guys still charged me for the 3 day trial and it doesn't work makes this a huge scam.

Doesnt even deserve 1 star, this is a scam. They make you pay $4.99 for a monthly membership just to get a number and then STILL makes you watch adds to "earn credits" to retreive messages like verification codes and EVEN THEN the message never loads and you cant read it. Total junk app

This app is not user friendly. You have to constantly stop and watch a video in order to do anything. ,Good luck just to come through on SMS.

It says you get 3 days free after you agreed to automatic renewal after 3 days. It asks for payment info. 1st time to try to make a call & it says free credit has been used. Must be a phishing app

The app offers a free 3 day trail but once installed it states all the minutes have been used then offers $9.99 a month. Purchased that then it still stated was out of minutes and needed to buy credits. Horrible do not use this app.

I've been an IT pro for years now, and I cannot more highly recommend 2nd Line, for both safety AND convenience. I've utilized numerous other apps for my second phone line and have yet to see any other such plans that comes with so many additional features, that now I've made it my go to plan, and quite frankly, couldn't possibly be more elated to have it as my own.

Way to expensive. You got to pay 5 or 10 or more dollars a month plus expensive credits. They run out fast. Plus the calls keep hanging up, barley signal, many times the calls even do go through, then it's just showing missed calls, and the quality of the calls is the worst. I wasted so much money on this app! Don't install this app!!! Customer service is never helpful, it's only sending standard answers. Plus I never got my money back!

You have to pay. I looked up second phone numbers, that are free to use. This app, Second Phone Number, showed up amongst the top searches. Upon selecting a number, I was then informed, via the app, I would have to pay to use a line from them. I don't mind having the ads, in order for my usage to be free, however I am not able to pay as money is tight.

I love this phone number, I use it a lot on my Note 10, but the problem I noticed really quickly is that the audio/recording feature is only available for android devices and not the phone. That was a real let down. Any idea when that feature can be available for phone users? Hence, this is why I rated this phone number four stars, everything else is great.

Downloaded this app to see if, with the free trial upgrade, I could use the number for verification codes. It didn't work so I immediately canceled the free trial. Well, guess who was charged $32 the moment the free trial (that I canceled) ended? So I reach out via email as soon as I see the charge and I have not gotten a reply. It's been two days now and nothing. So rotten. Basically thievery. They're mighty quick to charge my card but have no time to answer emails.

Absolute bs. Get this app if you want to pay $10 a month to still have to watch ads or pay for credits in order to even use it. What is the point of a subscription if you still can't really use it in full? They just want your time and money. Honestly better to just buy an actual burner phone from a carrier and pay for the minutes than this garbage.

This app is almost useless. 1/10 times i'm actually able to answer phone calls. Most of the time all I hear is the tone for a missed call as it never rings. I have been in areas with excellent 4g service and it still fails to ring and when it does ring and I answer it's a battle of "hello" for about 5 seconds before the connection is established. I will say that on wifi it seemed to work well so if you are using this as an alternative to a landline than it may be worth the money.

I wanted to try out this app, so I signed up for the free trail. However, I didn't like it, so I unsubscribed from the trail and app. But after the last day of free trail, I was charged $30, when I requested to unsubscribed from it. I tried contacting the developer and Google but both wouldn't refund me back the amount I was charged. Very disappointed with this app. Do NOT download it and use the free trial. They will only end up charging you.

I was under the impression that paying the subscription would have give me access to send text messages and make calls. There was no advertising about any credits until after I paid the subscription and got on the app. Then, only then was when I found out about the credits. I'm telling everyone to stare away from this app and I demand a refund immediately!!

Truly the worst app I've ever used. It is ad supported but still forces you to subscribe. Okay whatever, I subscribed. Then I find out I can't send or receive messages without "credits". What was the subscription for? So I am subjected to awful ads and all kinds of bloat to scrape by and get a couple credits to send a text message. Uh oh. I ran out after receiving a message and now it's holding my messages hostage. Watching videos oftens fails and doesn't grant credits. Rip off. Unsubscribing

Warning ⚠️ DONT DOWNLOAD APP!!!! When I downloaded the app and paid the $10, I was under the impression that paying the $10 would have given me access to send text messages and make calls. There was no advertising about any credits until after I paid the $10 and got on the app. Then, only then was when I found out about the credits. After paying 10 dollars. Waste of money! Waste of time! I should have read the reviews before I downloaded it, so that is on me.

2nd Line - Second Phone Number is an essential tool for managing personal and business communications. Its user-friendly interface and reliable service make it easy to send texts and make calls without revealing personal information. The customization options and additional features enhance usability. Highly recommend for anyone needing a second phone number for privacy or convenience!

False Advertising - Horrible business practices, how is this app even allowed?? The app offers you a $10/mo plan that says it will give unlimited calls and texts. They even mention this on the Play Store: Powerful Features for ONLY $9.99/month: - Unlimited texts and calls: Call and text unlimited to US and Canada. This is not true! You need to buy credits or pay $0.20/text. I'm definitely going to have to open a ticket with Google to cancel payment or get a refund. Just horrible.
