i love how much this game involves and challenges the brain. it's great for when i'm struggling with anxiety or depression and it even helps when i have flashbacks from my complex ptsd, which isn't an easy thing to do. the only issue is how many ads there are, but that's not really avoidable; gotta make it pay the bills somehow.

The game is generally fine, but there are many times where the game will quickly do a couple of moves, faster than I can even follow, and then my game is completely ruined. Edit to add: it is also wayyy too easy to accidentally hit "back" instead of swiping left on phones with gesture navigation. I will accidentally hit back and get ads

I past more than a 1.000.000 point score of the 5x5 game (don't know exactly how much more but it was very easy for me playing an didn't pay close attention to the numbers) but I was playing for weeks, I managed to fix all the mistakes that I made on the game, it was saving my score without mistake and when I started the game today the score was 0. Very very bad and frustrating. I deleted it emediately.

The absolute best version to play. The slides function in the same way as the first-generation versions. True to its title. Very little ad's so for that, I always watch them in full so the app gets as much $$ as possible out of those terrible things 😆

I love this game. I play it all the time but my 6x6 keeps resetting to zero. Even my high score resets to zero. I've made it past 1 million twice now and have had it reset to zero. None of my other games reset so idk what's happening. Super sad about losing my progress and debating even trying over again

Glitchy. Slightest movement can make you do multiple moves messing up the board and no way to undo more than one move. Sometimes it said you won when reaching 2048 and sometimes it doesn't. Fun and easy on the eyes otherwise. I don't like games with a ton of flashy items and colors on the screen .v this is great for not having those features.

You're basically forced to pay for the no-ad version because the ads make this game super annoying. If you want to play it more than once, you have to watch tons of ads, which are typically super loud and often very weird (tons of dating game apps with cartoon folks in lingerie? Why?) they even glitch and overlap each other sometimes and you often can't mute them. Unfortunately worth paying for no ads.

Had over 1mil points and the app, again, wants to freeze, do a double movement so one can't be undone, and completely ruin the hours spent building up the tiles. It is a constant fight against either an algorithm deadset on replacing tiles on spots you cleared, or glitching multiple movements in a row so you can't undo them. It is a frustrating combination of really wanting to like the catharsis of the game, and getting completely screwed over by it's programming.

I love this game, but the app keeps glitching and making moves for me. I'll be doing really well, then all of a sudden all of the tiles are in completely different places as though they've been moved at least twice, without me touching them. It really sucks because they're the wrong moves, too, so I keep losing because of it. Very frustrating

There is a bug in 5x5 mode where it randomly loses my game and high score. Has happened twice with hours and hours of in-game progress lost. It also sometimes it makes unwanted double moves which screws up the ongoing game.

Ad infested world, opened up to play after a hiatus and smacked in the face with so many ads. I get it people need to pay their bills but holy cow, we are inundated with ads at every possible place we look. Futurama may be predicting the future and at the first opportunity we will have ads directly beamed into our brains. Great game but I won't continue supporting things that essentially force you into premium or make it unplayable with advertising.

Fantastic game! Quiet addicting. I had played 4x4 before but now availability of bigger canvas is very alluring and refreshing too. Only one thing if could be dealt differently - once the game is over, it got me clueless how to get out of it and try again. If there could be some instruction page, it would definitely be a nice value add. This is just a suggestion on a lighter note as it is no way a bug. Great efforts! Keep up the great work. 🙏

Good game but wish there could be a way to pay to remove ads. If you want to start a new game, you get an ad. Fine. But if you hit the wrong option to start a new game after the ad, you get a second ad tossed in your face. Would be nice that you didn't abuse with the use of said ads.

Edited review: I was up to 524,288 on the 8×8 board and had been playing for MONTHS but I opened the app today and all my progress was gone. The board was completely clear. I'm so annoyed. Original review: It used to only have an ad after finishing a game, but now it interrupts the game with ads while you're playing, every 30 seconds! Ridiculous.

Twice now my 8x8 board has reset. High score and all. I didn't do anything but close and reopen the app. Same as I always do when I'm finished playing for the time being. The first time it happened I had a score of over 4mil. The second time I had a score of over 6mil. None of the other boards are affected. Someone please fix this!! I'm not the only one this has happened to.

It's a great way to pass time without it becoming so involved in how many lives or how much time I have left to play. At your own pace. Very easy to get caught up in it that time seems irrelevant. The reason for four stars is it doesn't save a game. It'd be nice to be able to pause/save a game to come back to it later or just to see again how high your score was. Suggestion: keep the 5 highest score in the "bank/vault" memory.

5 stars hands down! I download it on every electronic possible. When I upgrade my phone it's the first game I download! It the best game to just kill a little time without having to do missions or wait for any length of time, and this 2048 specifically for me at least has the best controls.. the don't glitch nor does the game. It's never frozen any of my device and I've never had any virus snuck into my phone leaving behind ads. It doesn't require a ton of permissions I could go on and on.

After playing a game, you'll watch an ad and be allowed to play again. Except that at this point the program freezes and everytime you try to reload, it will play another ad. Sometimes I will have to watch 6 ads before it loads a new game, sometimes I get annoyed and don't bother playing. And this last time I just decided to delete the app, I have better ways to waste my time!

Random restarts after reaching high scores, glitches make random unwanted double moves messing up tiles without the ability to undo them, and infinite ad loops. The game is fun, but these flaws make the game unplayable. If fixing these bugs isn't possible (looks like it's been an issue for a while), they could be easily solved with a "save progress" feature to restart from certain saved points in case of a glitch or a random reset.

The ads in this app are absolutely heinous. For me, most of them are deafeningly-loud Temu ads, but they're all jarring and way too long. Lose? Temu ad. Restart game? Temu ad. Restart game without actually starting a new game, locking your screen, and unlocking it again? Temu ad. Please make it stop! Then there's the performance. The app slows down when moving a lot of blocks because of the in-game ads, and it randomly makes moves for me. This is a new problem, and I'm using the Pixel 8 Pro.
