This is the best expense tracker app after many time looking. Really, you don't need any fancy and complicated budget app. Just log your expenses and the app automatically will show you very good analytics and graphics to make decisions about your personal and family finances. I recommend thinking very well about your categories and subcategories so you can squeeze the most value out of it. Also, I recommend the lifetime access: It's cheap and has great benefits.

I have used this app for years and have been mostly happy with it. Any repeating transactions I have set get duplicated about 5 - 10 times a month causing me to spend hours correcting my accounts and getting them back to correct. It has become an almost daily issue and I have emailed several times without a response. The repeat transactions are how I am able to plan for future bills, events, etc and having to constantly go back through and correct these transactions has become too tiresome.

Best money tracker I've used. I've tested the best 6 and most of them were okay, but 1Money is so much easier to setup and use right away. Absolutely great! Update: I contacted the developer and asked about an iOS or a web version in case I want to work from my iPad and I received no answer. Now after about 18 months of using such a wonderful app and putting my data into it, it's sad no to be able to work from different platforms. This made me feel the need to lower the rating because something this of this importance can't be ignored. I hate to be locked and might forced to migrate to a multi-platform app. In short. The app is still great. Just lacks synergy.

Absolute BEST budget app! I tired around 30 different apps, and this one is above all the rest. Get the lifetime version. The amount you pay is well worth it. I only wish they made this app for iOS as well...please add it to the App Store for iPhones. Allows you to sync the account with your partner and entries are super easy with the user friendly and clean interface. Cannot say enough good things about it. Kudos to the developer.

Very effective. I have never overdrawn my account since I have been using this platform. They thought about almost everything. It would get 5 stars if they updated the app with the ability to export to Excel or some way to export graphs and income expenses analysis, etc, to your desk top and not sacrifice any graphics information in process

Very easy to use. I just wish there was a calendar view. This would be extremely helpful in tracking spending patterns across the month. It would also help me to see if I missed data entry for any day. Other than that, it has everything I'm looking for: quick and easy way to enter expenses (via widgets), categories and subcategories, cloud sync, support for multiple currencies, and more. If it just had a calendar, it'll be perfect!

I've downloaded near all of the mainstream apps for budgeting, as I am a Simple Refugee. I must say that this, AFTER figuring it out and how to set it up, is the best so far. My search isn't over but I will be using this in one fashion or another for a long while. I bought the premium version and don't regret it. The color scheme is nice, the simple UI, the cleanness of the layout. One thing tho, integrate with banks thru Plaid, so transaction are automated!!! That would be the icing on the cake

Love it! I've been looking for an app like this for months. I was reluctant to pay first, but I'm glad I did it. It's super easy to add an expense, for a super lazy person as I am. The dashboard is totally different to other apps I tested. The multicurrency feature is great. I know that other apps have integrations with debit/credit card, banks, etc, but I like to track my expenses manually in the categories I want, separating the expenses that are needs from the wants.

Good simple app, however It would be great to have a more robust recurring expense / income section. There is no way to see a list of what transactions are set to recur each month. Even if I go into a transaction that I have set to recur monthly, it doesn't show me that it is set to recurring. Update: I now have found the recurring expenses screen, which is so great. That was my biggest flaw with the app and it turns out it was user error. The one thing I wish it did have is the ability to sync with your bank to make sure you aren't missing any transactions. Maybe in the future this will be added?

Update: Still using 3 years later. Good for tracking expenses before setting a budget. Still wish it had web! Love the flexibility of this app (particularly with the lifetime upgrade which was really inexpensive and totally worth it). I REALLY wish it had a web version so I could pull it up on my computer when I really need to dig into things. My favorite part might be the ability to customize the colors and pictures. It makes budgeting and tracking more enjoyable!

I think I finally found the expense tracker I was looking for! It's good value purchase ($5+taxes lifetime license with a limited time offer I suppose). I like the level of customizations it offers, from small things like designated colors to accounts and categories, to icon selection, to the overall theme. As an expat, with accounts in multiple countries and cash, this app is perfect and well thought-out for multi currency expense tracking. One feature I wish there were is IOU tracking.

In general very good app, worth upgrade to the paid version. I found it easy to set up and use. It's refreshingly not overstuffed with features some geeky types packed in just because they could. I just wish there was some way to have multiple family members use it and roll up all the data. I understand it can sync multiple devices but only if all use the same Google account. As it stands, I have to get receipts from my wife and enter transactions for them. Maybe I'm missing something?

I wanted to give this 4 1/2 stars. It combines all the best features into 1 app such a passcode for security, reoccurring transaction, reminders, categories that are easy to edit/add. The only thing that could make this app better is if you could attach or scan your receipts or pay stubs to the entries. Also, being able to split entries (for receipts that have more than 1 category like groceries and cleaning products).

Unfortunately, I have to change my 4-star review. I just lost 4 hours of my time trying to fix a colossal screwup by this app. I have lost many other hours before this as well, but I forgave it because I'm otherwise happy with it. The problem is with repeating entries - it randomly puts back in ones deleted and turned off. This time it did it to the tune of about $28,000 worth of old repeaters. I just got rid of all of the repeaters and will not use that function anymore.

Great app, I love the UI and the implementation, reason why Im paying a subscription for 2 years now. But it'll be great to have the option to CREATE YOUR OWN CURRENCY for managing, for example, virtual wallets that are not included within the app or just for giving the user the flexibility to set the equivalent of the new currency to the existing one. Hope you could include it in future versions.

Love the ui and how it looks. Very easy to use. BUT, I HATE the duplicate transactions it creates. I've backed up, uninstall and reinstall as suggested, but to no avail. The problem is the monthly bills/income that I saved to repeat every month. If the amount changes the following month and I go to change the amount, instead of changing the amount only, it keeps on creating a duplicate! So now I'll have the originally saved amount and the new amount of the same transaction. So frustrating! Smfh!

Great app! I have been using this app for over 2 years and I love it! I love that I can keep track of all my separate checking accounts, credit cards, savings, and monthly expenses in one simple place with manual entry rather than syncing to my banks for an upload I never look at. This is perfect for my lifestyle, hands on management. *On New updated version...would be nice if you could adjust the font size to fit within your phones screen size.

I've been using this app for years. Functionally this has always done what I needed it to. I can track multiple bank accounts from multiple banks with no issue and even keep tabs on my credit card amt. It's helped me figure out what I'm spending the most on with the day/week/month/year breakdown graph and I can't ever remember having issues. All in all it's pretty great, but I'm not sure about the new design. Any chance we could get an option to change the look back to the old one, please?

Edit: the extra large font size and oversized padding of the recent update makes the content too large to see enough of it on a screen without scrolling. Please add an option to return to the more compact layout. Clean interface, works well, no ads, can set up your own system of colors and icons. Very satisfying to use.

Update: the new update to the apps visuals is awful. Changing all the icons to thin outlines and emphasizing the color on the icon instead of the background makes everything sort of blend together especially in dark mode. A real case of trying to fix something that wasn't broken. Simple but effective. It does require you to manually input everything, but I prefer that. It allows for far more flexibility in organizing your finances than a lot of other apps do
