Foreigners cant use it because you cant put spaces in your name. This app sucks.

Cheaper than socar. Although this app is different from socar. But I got used to the menu and whole procedure of renting car

(Foreigners, use socar instead, very foreigner unfriendly, had to fax stuff and still couldn't get registration approved). 걍 쏘카 쓰세요~ 운전 경력 23년차인데 면허 갱신한지 1년 안 되었다고 경찰서 가서 운전경력증명서 따오라고함. 쏘카는 바로 되요~

Not user friendly for foreigners. It keeps asking me to write down my name in Korean along with my birthdate to get verification from the cell phone provider but my phone number is registered with my English name in English alphabet. You named your company "greencar" in English but it waa made only for Koreans. You better name it in Korean!!!

App is fundamentally flawed. Foreign people cannot use it because the sign up window does not allow non Korean names. Ask me for screen shots. Until then I'll use SoCar which actually works!

The app doesnt recognize names spelled with English letters. My name is 26 characters long. I keep getting a name error message when I enter all 26 characters. If I enter less than 10, no error message. But of course its not my full name so it also doesnt work.

Update: STILL THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN KOREA! **Impossible to use as a foreigner with a somewhat longer name. My ARC has my first middle and last fully spelled but the licensing center could only fit my last, first and first initial of my middle name. Greencar won't accept this. They also won't accept my documents showing over 5 years of driving experience, my korean license, my international license and my Canadian license. Use Socar as they are much easier to deal with for foreigners!

외국사람이면 면허 인증 못 해요. If you're a foreigner, you can't input your name when registering your license. They want you to enter it exactly as it is on the license, then when you do it doesn't work because the app can't read spaces. When you get rid of the spaces it won't accept it because it's not exactly the same as your driver's license. When you call customer service they send you on this circle a couple times then tell you to get your name changed on your license -- which is illegal because then it won't match your ARC.

Visitors can't use the app unless you have an ARC, alien registration card, or are an actual Korean national. I have an international drivers license and been coming to Korea for many years. I'll continue going to Lotte rental **update** after the developers response, it just means if you're not Korean citizen, you cant use their services. If you don't have the following: ARC ID, a telephone registered to your name, Korean drivers license, all which you can only have if you are a citizen.

Since the recent big update on the app, it reset my driver license information, thus make me unable to rent before verifying again my license. The problem is my english name is long, so the license only have short version of my name, different then my alien card. I have sent messages and submit the required documents manually in the app (photos of alien card, driver license, and driving experience certificate), but it has been a week and counting and still no response from the developer team.

This app is absolutely useless ever since the update, one star is even too much. It was already frustrating signing up for it if you have a long name and/or a foreigner, but since the update it is even worse. Mobile phone verification doesn't work even with identification data being the same and can easily be cross-referenced with the documents submitted. Submitting the documents manually only results in the same generic message, no changes. And they still refuse to make changes up to now
