Jan 13 2023 I just knew that this version existed a day ago, and as a multiple version owner of this game I had to jump on it as well. Everything is here from the PC version or Switch, the music, the graphics (tested with 8Bitdo Zero 2 and 8Bitdo Pro Plus controllers). But we NEED some options like total black background and LOCAL MULTIPLAYER. How come the SoR 1 and 2 for Android have that option but this version of the game doesn't? Great game on its own right, although not a 5 star port.

This is a good port. I also bought Mr X Nightmare DLC as well. The performance is quite smooth. But there is one thing that makes me less comfortable playing it on a mobile phone. The screen aspect ratio is locked at 16:9. While the screen size of today's mobile phones is quite long. The blue image on the left and right of the screen feels a bit uncomfortable. There should be an option in the video settings to change the aspect ratio and make the game display full screen.

Highly enjoyable game, brings back memories from the good old sega days. However can you explain why this game randomly crashes? I like to play survival mode and everytime the next level loads sometimes it crashes and the entire game has to be reset. You could be on level 5 or 20 but can't continue because it cant load the next level? You need to get a fix for this.

Game runs flawlessly on my Poco F3. I dig all the video settings and it seems like the whole game has been ported, which is fantastic! I would like some more accessibility options, though. Such as, transparency options for the joystick and bottons. I have also noticed that throwing weapons or activating you -> -> punch doesn't register properly, or at least it doesn't feel right. Anyway, keep up the good work, you guys!

Some months ago, I refunded this game. It was laggy even on low & the combos aren't responsive (e.g. blitz). Then, I saw this huge update actually being brought to mobile. So, I bit the bullet & try it once more. No performance issues on high settings, and finally the combos are registered. Finish all the tutorial on touchscreen, no problem. If you're interested in beat 'em up, grab this one. The DLC is worth it as well (it can be accessed offline, just pressed the button again on main menu).

this game pisses me off the most for how terrible I am. it broke me on maniac difficulty; in a good way! music, graphic, fighting style, unlockable, all the way to the top. engaging story (not too complex; stays true on the franchise), controller support in an instant plug-in, also the DLC worth to get. ONE minor problem. since the music immers the nostalgia, can we select the music theme we want? SoR 1, 2 or 3; from the menu screen, char selection, to stages even bosses.

Feels like I am playing on a handheld console, smooth gameplay and the buttons are also responsive. I have experienced some frame drops specially on the training mode where the commands on the screen flickers that's when it became slow and the inputs became delayed, maybe it's because of a bug? I hope the developers can check on it and fix the issue. (and also when offline, the DLC became unavailable)...

For anyone that has the problem with the game assets not downloading, make sure to turn on auto updates of apps on the play store and do a full reinstall of the game, this solved the problem for me. This is a very good port, I've played it on PC and this mobile version has the same content. But it seems the screen aspect ratio is locked, there's unused screen space on both of the devices in playing with, it would be great if there were an option to fill the screen.

Utterly fantastic. But I'm trying to buy the DLC, and it just tells me I'm not connected online, which's ridiculous. This and Dead Cells are 2 of my favourite games. Period. Both run flawlessly, pad or touchscreen, on my S20FE. Any chance of some help from the publishers on this one?? EDIT: Would seem that it's on my end - I can no longer make in app purchases on a lot of things. Playstore itself is OK tho. Baffled by what could've changed, cos it certainly used to work

I got the physical copy of this game of my Nintendo switch and I have the digital copy on my Nintendo switch... I never expected them to put the whole DLC on this Android I purchased it and I am building up all my characters now... This is a five-star classic game 100% the best game on Android hands down The graphics and controls are amazing it looks like it's running at 60 frames per second... And on the Google pixel 6 Pro it is moving smooth like a dream. ULTRA IMPRESS WITH THIS CONVERSION.

Being a pretty hardcore fan of the original PC and Xbox versions of the game coming to mobile, this game plays, looks and feels just as good as all of them. Absolutely faithful port for one of the best current beat-em ups in modern times. Amazing job at the team behind it for such a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Its a great mobile port that is identical to both PC and console. The graphics are beautiful, even though its 2d. Combat is satisfying. Its basically an improved version of older Street of Rage games, with more characters, better gameplay, more modes to play with, great soundtrack, and excellent graphics. We need more mobile games like this. ALSO PLEASE GET THE DLC. Because then you're gonna get 3 extra characters. And survival mode , which you can play over and over again to unlock new moves

Plays flawlessly on Note 10+ with a DualShock 4. I also have this game on PC and Switch. This version is more portable friendly than the Switch version due to the fact that phones handle portable Bluetooth devices better, and the Switch often has issues when trying to play online games on a tethered connection. I wish there were more games of this quality available on Android.

Playing on Redmagic 6S Pro. Awesome port! Haven't played any others from playdigous, but from what I've seen before, I wasn't worried about the quality. Played SoR4 on both Switch and PC since launch, and this feels ALMOST as good. Switching between touch and external controller, both are perfectly doable. There are a few oddities though; Survival Mode: Shiva does not receive random buff on gold weapon pickup. Stage transition tanks FPS Can take damage from stage hazards during transition.

10 Stars! Got this on the Switch and now on mobile. It's even more beautiful and fluid on my S22 Ultra. Price is almost burglary with all the content on offer. I wish there was an option to switch button placement, but the touch controls are good enough for on the go. Playing this with a PS or XBOX pad, though, is utterly perfect. This is as must-have as any game can be on any platform.

EDIT: After purchasing the Mr X Nightmare DLC, I found that on certain stages, particularly the TV Arena, the game will drop to around 30 fps. While it doesn't bother me, I believe some optimizations could be made. Thanks to the creators of the mobile port for responding! Original Review: A fine port of SOR4. The touchpad could use some work, as the input for a blitz move is janky.

Crashes on startup a lot, but otherwise this is a flawless one to one port of the console version. All the features and fidelity of the original, but now on mobile. And even though it does crash when trying to start the game for me, once I get into the game there's no issues. Even detects my 8bitdo Zero 2 no problem, controller support seems great. With a controller there's no differences between this and the console version.

Great game except for the fact that the survival mode is way too hard. Every 4 levels the difficulty significantly increasew so that by the time you reach level 16 it is ridiculously hard. I would really enjoy a difficulty setting for survival mode or even better, longer stretches between difficulty increase. Like 10 levels instead of 4. At this point I've finished the story mode 20+ times so survival is all I play.

A pretty solid mobile port of a console beat em' up. My only gripes are the tremendous frame dip on the Gladiator Arena and the Blitz attack not functioning properly with the mobile controls. When my character is facing left I can only pull off the attack when I tap on the left arrow ("D-pad"), whereas the right directional input on the Blitz attack requires that I move the joystick icon to the right. This hinders me severely when I am mobbed by a wave of enemies.

The game itself is amazing and so much fun. Unfortunately, with my Backbone controller... it's not that great. It will crash out and then set my controller from gameplay to keyboard and it messes everything up. Sometimes not resetting properly and it will cause me to shut the game off, since my character will simply walk left forever.
