This was one of the best games ever and you couldn't find it for Android anywhere for so long. I was so happy to find it again only to discover that several key features require spending money to use and the levels get so difficult there is no way to win. The whole notion of this being a pay to win game is mind-blowing to me as every level requires you watch an ad. I understand that ads are what help developers make money, but to have both ads and a pay to win scenario is downright greedy.

i used to love this game when it first came out. since the relaunch for newer phones, i spend more time watching ads than playing games. over 1/2 the stuff requires actual $. most of the games i play have ads but theyre 10-30 seconds. these ones last 2-3 mins. i thought i downloaded a game not an app of ads. Also, most if the time when I close the ad, it opens my internet and/or play store. Very annoying having to watch all these ads & constantly closing things just to play a 2 min level.

Predatory micro transaction strategy I used to play this game years ago and was excited when I saw it was finally available on Android. They've put a micro transaction onto nearly every aspect of the game, want to upgrade your shop? Pay money, want to play without having to watch an ad after every level win or lose, pay money. Finish the first five levels? Wait EIGHT HOURS to "fly" to the next location or pay money. Immediate uninstall, glad I didn't spend anything on this.

I really liked this game back in the PC days. The grapics are unique, and the mini games are fun-I haven't found another game that matches up to this. I downloaded this thinking I could recapture the fun of playing this so many years ago, but it's impossible with the cash grab this game has become. I downloaded Sally's Studio, and it's perfectly fine. You can purchase all upgrades and helpers with in-game currency. Why isn't this the case for this one?

This game is ridiculous. The game is typical, though more difficult now, all to convince you to purchase something. But it's difficult to tell what you can purchase now, what will expire, and if you purchase the whole game, if there will be further limitations that ask you to buy something else. The game is also very difficult. Too many customers come in with 1 or 2 hearts, and they lose those remaining hearts quickly. It's almost impossible to win without purchasing powerups.

Fun game until you get stuck and there is no way to proceed. You are basically forced to make in-app purchases. I purchased the original Sallys spa years ago and loved it. The only downside was there weren't enough levels. I was excited about this one but I've been stuck in NY for way too long. I've purchase 2 assistants but have been unable to purchase candles, mags or other accessories. I Will likely just uninstall.

This game is OLD, over 15 years I'm sure. Now it's refurbished to have pay to win features. Where once unlocking upgrades was possible with in-game currency, it's now pay with REAL MONEY. By the way, if you don't pass a level, Sally will provide "helpful" tips like: "Buy an employee to help you". Shame on them for doing this. Don't bother with it, instant delete.

A really fun game BUT obviously made for you to have to spend actual money to pass levels. I have literally played certain levels over and over and there is no way to win unless I whip out that credit card! It seems a lot of games are doing this now. I understand needing to make some money but not being able to pass a level at all unless you spend real money is ridiculous! I even paid $5 for a helper in the game and still I couldn't pass levels!!! Ready to uninstall!

I bought the full version of the game and there are still levels that are impossible to beat without buying more coins. I loved this game but I'm officially stuck unless I purchase more coins for candles and upgrades. It's like I'm being punished. I spend over $30 and can't even beat the game? Come on... the levels should be winnable with perfect timing!

This game is a scam. I spent almost $100 on the coins to get store items. When playing, I tried everything from using all the boosts, tea, and processing customers in the order they entered, plus all 5 stars. I still get the same score. It's impossible to beat levels. Sometimes, magazines or tea freezes on screen, and the tea is fully depleted after paying for refill. Also, customer support doesn't respond or help unless you mention a refund. Which they will not do but have an excuse.

I love plating this from Shockwave on my PC,but this mobile version is the worst ever! You have to wait 8 hours between each shop or pay and you have to watch a video before every level or pay, and most of the ads won't end and give you credit for watching them. This is just a waste of time unless you are willing to keep getting out the credit card

I like this game. I wanted to play it for nostalgic reasons. It was a fun game. I expected some difference since it was now moved on an app store, but I can't play a lvl and get expert until I beat all five lvls once? Ok, fine, a bit different but fine..BUT I also can't unlock any of rhe employees without PAYING REAL money? Fine, annoying... But, what really got me was I have to pay gold or wait 8 HOURS to go back and forth from area to area (not just a new area you unlocked either).

Love this game .... however i hate that you have to use your money to expidite your travels or wait 8 hours! And i do wish for the helpers you could earn money to buy them like everything else. Thise are the only things in the shop you HAVE to buy with real money. I'm stuck on a level and have been for a couple days now. But otherwise I do really love the game

The game is okay graphic wise but you can't move to other levels without certain upgrades or playing other spas in another location and you have to pay to get to those locations or wait almost 8hrs to fly stand by so it is hard to build coins for upgrades anyway. I played the old version of Sally's salon and I bought the whole game for like $9.99 I would much rather do that then how it is set up now because it is very annoying and after two days now I am about to Uninstall this game!

On the surface, it seems like the same game it was back when it came out on the PC. However, even with the removal of ads, the game pacing is stressful, and highly pressures you to spend more money on upgrades and boosts. I'm deeply disappointed. EDIT: Playing the game for even longer has revealed it doesn't get any better, and is even more frustrating than I originally thought. An awful, awful downgrade from the OG.

Here's hoping the devs actually respond to the feedback because it is a fun game, but now the ONLY way to get employees is to pay for them, $20 exactly. That's not right. I don't care how many coins they cost, you should be able to buy them with coins like you used to. You want us to watch ads or pay, but the design is so terrible that you can't always close out of the ads. It makes me open the app store and go back to it. I understand you want to make money but there's a better way to do this.

Honestly just really wanted to enjoy the nostalgia of the game but can't as the devs focused hard on making this an unenjoyable experience unless you pay 5 bucks for at least one helper. Like I've objectively hit a point that can't be completed without a helper. So I guess it's time to quit.

Not like the PC game 😞 That was fun, didn't have pay to win, and was actually beatable. I don't mind a challenge but I failed 3 times on the 6th level? Oh and some stuff locked behind a pay wall? Seriously? Pick ads or transactions, not both. The minute long ads are ridiculous also. Other games is 15-30 seconds.

I loved this game back in the day and was excited to find it again. Its definitely not the same. Levels are impossible to beat without spending actual money and the ads before and after a level are longer then the ads in my other games. It's too bad they made what used to be a fun and relaxing game into a cash grab

This game used to be SO relaxing, and moving up levels without spending money was totally feasible. Now, the game is just infuriating. The developers are greedy. The game is pointless and incredibly frustrating. Even if you spend all the money in the world on extras, it's just not worth it at all. They don't want you to relax or win. They just want you to keep spending money trying to achieve an unattainable goal. Games like this are why mobile games have a bad name nowadays. THEY'RE ALL SCAMS
