This game is classy and captures the essence of the original Centipede, with its rapid-fire gameplay and wave-based enemy attacks. The graphics are bright and colorful, giving off a retro vibe and the controller is a little bit unresponsive in fast paced. The game offers a solid challenge, especially for players looking to beat their high scores.

Simple yet challenging game. The retro style arcade experience really keeps the appeal in the game instead of trying to force new technology. Game mechanics is simple, but it is enough to be challenging as the game progresses. It is really captivating to keep trying to beat your highscore and trying to figure out how to get better at the game. My only negative feedback is the options with movement controls, maybe add a joystick option.

“Retro Centipede Infect” is a nostalgic game that captures the essence of classic arcade gaming. The main menu is intuitive, with a sound/music on/off button and adjustable button pad position for left or right-handed players, enhancing playability. The graphics are vibrant, evoking the charm of the '90s, while the gameplay is smooth and bug-free. Overall, it’s a polished, enjoyable experience deserving of a five-star rating!

I loved playing this! It was challenging to try and predict the ways the enemies would go to, and the synergies between the enemies really makes it hard for me to try to reach my latest high score. I noticed that after some levels, the difficulty kind of lowers a bit for me to catch up. I'm still trying to figure out how to get more lives. Not only that, but I'm also tryna figure out the patterns of the enemies. Although the on-screen controls are wacky, it's still a great classic arcade game.

As this game was based on the original centipede arcade games made in 1981, th creator of this game did not fall short on giving the retro vibe that it should have. I love how the game is straightforward; as I open the game, I know how to play it. Even though it's pretty simple, you'll get addicted to beating each level because it gets harder and harder. You will also see patterns as you progress and create strategies from it. Maybe it could be better if you get power-ups as you progress.

It was a very fun yet simple retro game. I was surprised by the gameplay, which didn't follow the original arcade style where the game continues to the next level without stopping. Additionally, the falling fleas, which can't be killed, were different. Still, it was enjoyable to play, and many people would likely find it the same.

This game brings back nostalgic memories, and I've enjoyed the tense, fast-paced gameplay. However, the controller buttons could use some improvent, offering options like fixed buttons or a setup similar to the ps4 controller. Having customizable control would enhance the overall experience. Despite this, I've had a lot of fun playing and revisiting the classic arcade vibe.

I love how easy and simple the game is, but it's hard to "beat." Even though the game is singleplayer, I can still compare my highscore to other players for bragging rights. Also, the game has no story, which makes it an infinite feeling of challenge. It gives me adrenaline rush and tension, which ensures my emotional experience towards the games. I also love the ability to get more lives by killing. But I want to change the color of the shooter. Because the shooter and the centipede are green.

The controls are very straight forward, up-down, left-right and spam fire button, that provides a very easy accessibility. While the game lacks narrative, the infinite loop gameplay resolves that issue. Additional improvements to the game would be adding boss fights, this would give the players a sense of accomplishment and progression. Additionally, adding more mobs to the game would make it less stagnant and adds diversity to the levels of the game.

Centipede have the arcade 80's feels. It's easy to pick up, yet it presents just enough of a challenge to make you want to keep playing. The game itself is highly recommended. Because of how quickly the action moves along, it becomes extremely addictive. But can be improved by adding new power-ups dropping during laps or boost your speed for a few moments, or maybe provide stronger weapons and more. It helps to keep gameplay fresh, players will have new things on which to work and think about.

The game is simple, it has a straight forward controls and a button to shoot. The game is easy to learn and although repetitive, the escalating tension makes up for it. I recommend updating the movement into a virtual joystick since the original arcade game uses a trackball instead of directional movements, this allows the players to have a less restricted movement. Also, make the roles of the characters similar to the original like having the centipedes turn mushrooms into poisoned ones.

The game is a breeze to pick up with its simple mechanics, and you'll quickly grasp its goals after just a few minutes of play. While it lacks a deep story, fun features keep me returning. The scoring system on the main menu sparks competition, pushing you to beat your best. Each level was thrilling as you blast the accelerating centipede bouncing off the mushrooms, making survival nail-biting experience. However, the controls need a little improvement to enhance the overall gameplay experience.

Retro Centipede Infest successfully taps into the nostalgic charm of classic arcade games with its straightforward, challenging gameplay that appeals to both seasoned and new players. However, its overly simplistic visuals and repetitive sound design may detract from its overall appeal. Additionally, the game could benefit from more varied levels, power-ups, and evolving challenges to maintain player engagement over time.

This game is a classic arcade game offering simple gameplay that enhances decision-making skills of the players, but its simplicity can lead to repetitiveness. While it provides an exciting experience, the lack of enemy variety and design flaws, such as difficulty distinguishing between the shooter and the centipede's head, can be drawbacks. Adding new enemies could improve the game, but overall, the interconnectedness of game makes it highly enjoyable.

It's the type of arcade game that does a really good job at challenging you. As well as giving you some downtime before the difficulty ramps up again. The controls are very easy to learn, the nostalgia vibes it gives, and the sense of accomplishment you can get when you achieve a new highscore adds up to the game still being played to this day.

I like how it gives a touch of nostalgia when it comes to Arcade Games. However, I don't like how small the shooter is for my eyes and I cannot see well to distinguish me and the enemies because of its colors. It is a simple game but very addicting and is easy to learn. It is also thrilling because it makes the players tense and it motivates me to play more because it keeps track of my highscore. Lastly, the game is small on storage that makes it perfect to save space and still have fun.

The game is fun for me; I kept on repeating if I was game over because I have to compete for my recent highest score. The game graphics are quite simple yet not boring to the eyes or as the background. I just don't like how centipedes spread if I shoot them and how mushrooms are hard to break, but anyway, it adds to my score. Also, the spiderman is so annoying; it just randomly comes to me. That's all. Thank you.

"Centipede" on Play Store is a nostalgic, retro-style shooter game that faithfully recreates the classic arcade experience. The simple pixelated graphics and original sound effects appeal to fans of the old-school game. However, the touch controls can be a bit imprecise, and ads might interrupt gameplay. Overall, it’s a fun download for those who enjoy vintage arcade games.

The game reminds me of the arcade games ive played before, it is indeed fun to play. The controls are very simple with its up and down then left to right movement. The game is easy to understand. But the game is also has outdated graphics and the frequent ads interrupt the gameplay, also performance issues can be frustrating. It is like a throwback to the old arcade games, but it needs improvements to fully engage new players.

It might be okay for some like those havin a desk top. It's not good for phones having the direction "joystick" separated and not allowing it to be able to flow with the directional arrows, like in a real joystick. It's not smooth! It's jumpy and jerky and you don't need that while playing. The kill button is also separated from the directions button, which makes it a pain is the *ss. I'm looking for the one had a few years ago, but I can't seem to find it. It's shooter didn't change speeds.
