Great emulator, the only problem that i have is i often touch the game screen accidentally, causing the screen to change to full screen. I suggest for an option to turn off that feature so that the screen don't change when i accidentally press it. Edit: changed my review to five stars, the dev actually responded quite fast and helped solving the problem.

I've had to make the switch from MyBoy! to this 64-bit emulator because Pixel 7 doesn't run 32-bit apps. I enjoy the Real Colors option to give it the muted color appearance of playing on an actual GBA, and the pre-installed LCD3X shader gives the video nice crisp pixel sprites which is very nostalgic for me. Besides graphics, I've had issues with the Fast Forward feature and several crashes in just the couple days I've used it (although that's probably the ROM). Overall solid emulator.

This is obviously an amazing emulator, works pretty much flawlessly. My one issue is the speed bar reset option doesn't seem to work with a ps4 controller. Also pressing the speed up/down button should stop after 1 step, as it is if you keep holding the button it quickly jumps to the maximum/minimum speed. Still a fantastic app but yeah the controller stuff could be a bit more fine tuned

I really recommend using this emulator, especially if just using the screen for controls. I really love the attention to detail on the theming and layouts. Unlike most emulators which just show the screen and some basic buttons. Pizza Boy, actually has a UI design, which makes it look very much like a GBA. down to the buttons and little aesthetic looks such as the power button and speaker grill. Not to mention the multiple features that it boasts such as online multiplayer, rewind, and more!

Davide, you really have a gem on your hands. I've read some reviews about complicated file navigation, but on my GS9+ I can navigate, load and save rather simply. The UI is intuitive, and the speed up/slow down feature has been really helpful in situations that would lend better to a physical D-Pad. Well done all around. I will say, I have been trying to trade pokemon locally, and PBGBAP gives me a blank UI when I select "Load Different ROM." Kinda sucks:/

For the most part I love this app. It has all of the functionality that you would expect from a high-end premium emulator. The one issue I have with it is that it lacks any kind of a front-end UI so new choosing your games from pretty box art. Instead you are forced to choose your games from an awkward drop-down menu and when you restart the emulator it automatically forces you into the last game you played. It will play ROM hacks though so that's a plus.

It's a great app, but I'd like to report a few bugs: The sound continues to play even when the app is minimized. Your game automatically resets whenever Battery Saver is turned off or on. If your phone screen is turned off while Battery Saver is on, the app crashes and prevents you from exiting it, forcing you to restart your phone. (Edited for clarity)

Bought this for the autosave but honestly even the free version is worth a fiver. I do have issues with a couple of ROMs, but that's expected from any emulator and it may be an issue with the ROMs anyway. All the other games I play run perfectly and the performance is great. There are a lot of really nice features (even in the free version). For example, you can move the controls wherever you want. If you use PBGBA Free I would highly recommend supporting the dev's hard work and buying pro.

I love this emulator. The only issues I've had with it are unavoidable with touch screens, which makes being able to adjust the control layout an absolute win in my book. By far my favorite emulator that I have on my phone. 100% worth the $5, but if you're not sure check out the free version first. it has fewer features options, but it worked perfectly fine as well.

This has without a doubt been my favorite emulator on Android as far is its overall UI and user experience. It has plenty of great features including custom skins and multi-player support. One time I noticed a bug affecting WarioWare Twisted's motion controls, and I emailed the developer about it. He replied back promptly that he'd work on it and the update was out within the next day or so. He really stands behind his products and updates them all the time with new features and bug fixes.

It works well, and I've had no problems with emulation thus far. I have noticed a couple of small issues, one being that the press detection of the virtual on-screen buttons can be a little off, the other being a constant background tone that I can hear behind the music in some cases. Overall, it's a good emulator and well worth its price.

Been using this for 3 years now. Great emulator I use it for pokemon roms. Premium is definitely the way to go. You can customize your background, layout, buttons, the position of the buttons, change from the usually directional arrows, have multiple save states, load games with ease, and even rewind the game if you make a mistake. Best emulator for gba out hands down.

The emulator is great, but I have one concern. On MyBoy!, there is a wide variety of combo keys. For example L+A , R+A, b , and all that, but I do not see that here except for a+b. Am I missing something or has that yet to be added? If so, I would really recommend this feature be added to the emulator as it makes playing with touch controls really comfortable. The metroid games are hard to play due to the missiles controls and all sl the combo keys would be helpful

Nice app, definitely wanted to support the developers with this one. The dark mode when combined with the Grape theme, breaks the image. It causes a big black void at the bottom of the gameboy image. Upd8: I cant get this to go away. There also isnt a preview of skins and the overall look which feels a bit clunky, as you have to jump between sluggish menus. That said i love that i can change the look of the gameboy at all. I would love to see the classic transparent putple color as an option.

excellent feel, and runs games pretty well! this would have gotten a five star rating if these bugs were fixed: cheats; the cheats continuously tell me they cannot be loaded. and crashing: the crashing has caused me to lose saved data time and time again. it happens often, but simple saving frequently could save you from this being a bigger headache than it really is. can't wait to see these bug fixes!

It's the best emulator on the play store imo, but there's this really distracting crackling sound that starts playing under the music after a while. I've noticed it almost immediately when I switch windows, then go back, or use the rewind buttons a few times. I don't think it's my phone, since it doesn't happen with anything else. Please fix this issue- it's to the point it's almost ruining my experience, and I've considered other emulators.

I don't care if I paid for it to get some extra features, it was well worth the price. Best emulator on here ever with a dedicated dev always trying to improve it. I've used many emulators on here for over a decade and none are as good as the Pizza Boy emulators. It's a big shame you had to remove it, but I understand why. Also props to you for still providing updates despite it being removed for download/purchase.

There are zero audio options and this emulator does not have good audio latency. Everything else about it is great and it has some uncommon features like gyro support and color correction for early gba titles that were designed for a screen without a backlight. Just keep in mind that your experience will differ from console, sometimes severely for games that rely on audio cues to react in time such as warioware. even if you use wired headphones and have a debloated android operating system.

Great emulator from what I can tell. Honest and respectable. It has a free version that's genuinely free (none of that fake "free *trial* bs most other "free" ones I've tried hit you with) and works perfectly, doesn't have annoying ads, none of the annoying free app gimmicks. upgraded to the premium one because of that, and haven't regretted it yet. Works like a dream :)

Couldn't ask for a better emulator, does everything as advertised without any fuss. Theme looks nice and works great both landscape and portrait. Only had to do a small adjustment for the L button in landscape to not be so close to the d pad, a minor complaint but totally fixable within the app so no deductions there. Quicksave / quickload and game speed adjustment being easy to find and use is a nice bonus too.
