This is by far one of the best games on Google Play. The best way to describe this would be almost a 2d eve. There are many things that got...simplified to make it more intuitive. Overall a decent amount of content, lots of different ships with unique feels and designs. As the game is now the only real problem I have is the world doesn't feel interactive enough, the world seems to large for the amount of content that is there, but knowing the dev that will be slowly fixed. Well worth the money

I loved version 3 and am starting to really love the sequal. The new story lines, new ways to earn a living, new challenges, are all awesome. I only wish they had fixed the issue with allowing the screen to rotate with the phone s autorotate function. I realize that's a minor inconvenience, but I don't understand why it doesn't allow that. But overall, a great game with so many different possibilities as to how you want to play it.

This game is a ton of fun, and well worth your time! My only complaint really is how hard it is to unlock super heavy weapons. It requires luck and patience even with optimal strategy. I would greatly prefer a more involved series of quests to unlock them as an alternative to having to scavenge one. As it stands, by the time I've got one, I've done everything else in the game and it's not particularly useful to me.

A fun, enjoyable, always keeps you busy game. Take time to learn it. First 3 times I played are considered learning games. I now have a level 3 space station with my own faction ships plus have quite a few colony's now. Thinking on getting to know one of the alien species. Right now they don't trust me. Might try conquring one of the human planets. That'll be a fight. Still looking for the rest of the keys to unlock the vault.

I've reached a point where I can't do anything more in the game without adavcing the story, but the story quests bleed you to death of credits for ship purchases and repairs while the rewards don't even cover fuel costs. This is really bringing down my enjoyment of the game. Repairs and fuel need to be cheaper, or the rewards need another digit or two added to them. I've spent 4 million credits more than I've been paid so far. Also, get rid of the irreparable system damage thing, its obnoxious.

This is the real deal. It's not a mobile game. It's a game you play on a mobile. Gameplay is more exploration and action oriented then strategic or diplomatic. Lots to explore with replayability. Hope in version 5 for a little bit more deplomacy especially after you get you faction established. Flight controls really could use full 3 DOF (x,y strafe and yaw). Multiple fleets would be awesome, or a least a way to quickly swap entire fleets from the garage.

Very cool game. I played #3 and loved it. If you are into nerdy space games (trading, combat, ship and settlement modifications), this is your game. There are small issues, however. My number one gripe with this game is the ship-repair process. There is NO way to purchase and replace the same level of ship component that has been damaged beyond repair. You must purchase a lesser component and THEN you may buy the same-level replacement for the destroyed one. Please fix this.

This game is very fun and addicting, but Im about halfway through and can't seem to get past one stage of the game. Specifically, i can't seem to improve my rep with either alien faction no matter how many of their counterparts i kill. Im sure im doing something wrong, but theres no guidance or mission log to point me in the right direction. I dont usually like too much handholding in games, but i think this one part needs a bit more as i cant progress the campaign without beating this stage.

Great concept with engaging gameplay loops and enough variation in money making methods. However, once you choose a faction, the amount of enemy ships that are at every station - even friendly stations - is unbearable. Way too frequently do you hop into a friendly system with many enemy ships right there to kill you with torpedos, or damage your ship for a costly repair. Also ship control sticks sometimes, and often you can't cycle enemies to target even if they're right next to you

this game slaps, it's worth the money except for the fact that if there is an enemy in your system your weapons automatically lock on and you can't unlock from targeting them so if you want to mine good luck cuz you won't be able to shoot asteroids because enemies pop up in a system every 30 seconds it seems. Don't join a faction if you want to mine that increase the amount of ships that will be enemies, do it early on and make bank that way, it is still the easiest way to make money in any rpg

Never got to play srpg2 but I've bought the others. Always a good game, sometimes beyond aggravating. Like that 90 second training mission, I'd rather the timer be taken out altogether, but that's me. Seems silly to build your ship up only to have to change just for being too slow for one mission. Granted just bought this a few hours ago, but I really hope that's the only one like that. Edit: pushed to 5 stars. A lot less anger inducing than 3 for sure. Completed 2 of 3 story lines. Love this.

A worthy successor to spacerpg3. What can I say. This is like spacerpg3 in some ways, but it's more sophisticated. You can capture ships. You can mine asteroids. You can collect useful debris with drones. You can run a freight fleet and disrupt the galactic economy, or a battle fleet, and lay waste to your enemies. This is like endless sky or the classic escape velocity games, but better, since you can choose when to pick a side.

Stop looking; this is the best open-world space sim for Android. The only one you might try instead is Space RPG 3. Easy to control, far too many ships to pilot, lots of things to try and do. Join a faction early or go it alone as a pirate or scavenger. I played this game for many, many hours. And you can buy it once and play the whole game without spending more! Though honestly in exchange for more story, I would pay again.

Hey hey people, This is probably the closest port of Starsector for mobile that I have ever seen. Gameplay wise, its similar to the Space RPG 3 series but with new mechanics. So far, I haven't encountered any bugs nor game breaking glitches. Although I would say the pacing is quite slower than Space RPG 3, most of the human ship felt slow and since the game doesn't have 2x speed it felt as if most of the time you are waiting for your ship to FTL. However, it is overall an extremely good game.

I have boughten every iteration I have played every faction the only thing I couldn't do (in the old ones) was beat death. I appreciate the introduction of fuel, the map is very different from the previous two. I have not done the main story missions yet I always get the space station first and build up a trading empire. Tldr: it good, new features, kept what worked from old games, you won't get board quickly, it's on your phone and it isn't made by ambrosia. Thank you. I would right more but

I don't review things very often, but I felt compelled to leave one for this game. It's quite exceptional for a new release, and it has gameplay elements of classic space RPG games, including ship customization, trade, basic storyline, combat, factions, fleets, and graphics eerily (or not maybe?) similar to Distant Worlds: Universe on PC, another spectacular game. If the developer was involved with that game too, makes sense why this one is so great already. Great addition to the series.

So I played the previous game, and was expecting a more polished version of that. Boy was I not disappointed. So many great additions. Small quality of life stuff like the speed up and zoom out, more factions than before, way more ship types, and making fleets relevant by adding a fuel system was also a nice touch. Also new jobs! Love salvaging derelict wrecks. Honestly it's a great sequel and easily worth twice what I paid.

Pretty good Escape Velocity inspired game for mobile. Whilst a bit different from my usual fave, Endless Sky, it does have some pretty nifty differences. My only real suggestion would be either to put a cap on the number of times an enemy fleet can jump in system so one can harvest, or just allow cargo drones to fetch loot during combat, since certain areas have indefinite fleet spawns that prevent the acquisition of drops.

I really enjoyed playing the game, kinda sucks to have to keep paying to increase system security. I feel like each system under your control should have a certain danger rating to it, and instead of buying a one-time use defense, you should upgrade the ships that defend the system above a specific level. Oh, and claiming all the planets under a factions control should make attacking faction fleets significantly weaker. Makes no sense to suffer strong resistance if they have no bases, lol.

Controls are great for broadside and some fine maneuvering, but short of true precision. Lots of techniques to avoid taking damage in the toughest fights, but keeping escorts alive can be a chore. Love the war-torn universe and have come to appreciate the push away from lobbing shots at greater distances (like I did in SRPG3). The fuel mechanics, salvaging, and ship collecting also make this one more appealing to me than its predecessor. Occasionally find myself checking for updates.
