this is the 1 you want! this is not some copy and paste ad machine! this is a cute-looking, well designed tower defense game with escalating difficulties, different modes, different levels, and a lovely dev who has agreed to put in an arachnophobia setting which got an instant 5 star review (tbh it was already a 4 1/2, i was just not getting around to reviewing!) i am addicted and since i am chronically ill you know this isn't some "omg i play like 6 minutes a day in my breaks!" no. addicted!

Always looking for a fun tower defense game that isn't just a money grab and this is one of the best I've found, absolutely worth it! Very fun, actually free, creative, and interesting.

On the whole this is a decent game, with very reasonable in-app purchases. It feels a bit unfinished: lots of procedurally generated levels, unsatisfying powerups and a few annoying bugs (eg "Maze Defence" where many levels prevent you from making much of a maze at all, and enemies often get through in places you can't build). But then it's made by a lone dev, so for him to have made this much is quite an achievement. With some more polish, it could be a really great TD.

This game is well made overall. However, the system ramps up difficulty crazy fast from the start and resources come in slow af. While it doesn't seem like a cash grab, it definitely leans towards you spending money or grinding away. I've been going for days and haven't gotten past level 4.

Every few months I get an itch to play a tower defense game. I've been playing them since the days of use map settings starcraft 1 and warcraft 3 games. Most mobile TD games fall short weighed against my fond memories of the various wintermauls and cannon tower d's. There are a few exceptions like the contemporary bloons games, plants vs zombies etc. This game is among the ranks of exceptional mobile TD games. Absolutely worth the download if you like this genre.

I've put hundreds (maybe thousands) of hours into tower defense games, and this is probably the best ever made. IT IS A WORK IN PROGRESS! That's very important to know. The developer is extremely responsive and will help with glitches and problems. And the playability is unbelievably extensive. You can play for 6 hours straight and not even realize it. I'd be willing to pay for a fully finished product right now if it was possible.

A great tower defense game. Lots of choices in how you play. The dev did a great job. Will definitely keep this one so that I can try to complete the campaign at least. Best td on the app store that I've found. My only gripes are that you can't reset towers and there isn't enough towers for me. The game has like 30 towers... Which is great. Gg dev. But I need more bc I'm greedy lol love the game anyway.

I look forward to coming back to this in the future. I have high hopes for the game. As it is right now, it's a very fun game that was very obviously made by someone who loves tower defense games. The core of a great game is there, the dev just needs time to work out the kinks and smooth things out. If you try out the game, please consider supporting the dev by paying to remove ads or by purchasing something in general (or watch as many ads as possible). They deserve the support.

This game is amazing!! Been looking for a tower defence that you can direct the flow. The talent trees, runes, and equipment rule! My only grip would be i wish the towers weren't drag and drop, i rather it be click on the square and choose. I constantly place things a square away on accident.

If you like old school WC3 tower defense custom maps, you'll like Maze Defenders. It is simple to play but there's obviously a lot of customization you can do with tower perks, builders, spells, etc. I already sent the solo dev $5 to congratulate him, which got me no ads. I say that's a steal for how good the game is. He even messaged me right back to say thanks! It is a little buggy, though, and the FPS has tanked a few times. But it hasn't ruined or even lessened my experience of the game.

If you're looking for a great TD game for mobile, then this is it! The maps are solid, challenges are actually challenging, the system is easy to use and easy to understand what to do. They did a great job explaining how the game works, how to upgrade, and it doesn't feel like you need to spend a bunch of money just to progress. Highly recommend it!

Reminiscent of WC3:FT custom maps, this intuitive little gem might be the best TD in the playstore. Lovingly crafted with generous progression and addictive gameplay. The maze-building aspect scratches an itch that Kingdom Rush can't. Add in the RPG element of leveling and customizing towers, and you have a 5/5 in my book. I've played a lot of TDs and I think I'll be sticking with this one for quite some time. Highly recommend.

There's apparently an unspecified and untracked build limit where if you build too many walls it won't let you build any more walls or towers, even after selling some. Certain levels have a large amount of area to cover with a big maze but the game won't let you use the whole area. It's also hard to select towers and walls sometimes, especially in the middle of a battle.

Could use some quality of life improvements. When trying to get more info on some things, the pop up doesn't last long. When choosing a tower to place, sometimes it just moves the map. If my phone locks while the game is open, it loses sounds until I reboot the game.

Really enjoyable even without buying anything in-game. That said, it's the first game that actually makes me want to spend money because I feel they deserve it, and not because they made it unplayable unless you buy stuff. You get all the stars that I didn't give other games too. A straight up, honest, tower defense game made by someone who obviously loves the genre and understands how to make it work. It's balanced, has different difficulties, and many various facets that enhance gameplay.

This is one of the best smartphone games, as well as one of the best tower defense games, I've played. I made the $.99 IAP to get rid of the ads, and honestly wished it was more than $.99. You can tell this is made by someone who loved the old-school tower defense from before as well as the War3 era; the developer's self intro section was so dang cute I laughed reading it. Minor problems: There are still bugs, and I wish there are more towers/skill trees, diamonds could be easier to earn. Thanks

Great tower defense, but controls are clunky. It's really nice of the dev to allow us to get rid of ads for $0.99 only, really appreciate it. Love the mechanics of the game as well. Best bang for your bucks would be to support the developer for $4.99 (you get the most values for resources). Everything is great, but again, controls are a bit jank. Sometimes it's hard to try to drag tower to build and what not. Anyway, can't complain for a free game. It's great!

Update - patch appears to have resolved this crash issue. Gave 1 more star and will update review again in the future once I've played more of the game. Original Seems like a fun game, but it crashes on level 4 wave 8 every time... so my reviews is based on limited content. Game definitely needs to be more stable.

Love it so much but crashes... I Want to play this game a lot, even over some PC games but I can't condone almost beating a level and being proud of it then the game crashes out to home screen in an instant losing all progress and having to start over from scratch. Then it does it again and again even on different levels. This is a top tier tower defense game!!! 5 star for sure but crashes...

I really like this game and it's so close to a 5 star, but there have been some issues. It seems like the Dev is really working to smooth things out but with each fix seems to result in other issues. The freezing was fixed on my device but after a reinstall, I can't "Restore Purchases". I think part of the problem is that this game is so much fun to play. It seems like the Dev is really working hard on this so give the game a try but note that it's still in the works!
