Don't waste your money. This game isn't fun nor does it respect your time. Gear upgrade has a 60% chance to fail and you don't get any gold back, gold that is a pain to gather in the first place. You can upgrade the blacksmith with grindstone which are expensive, or you can farm them by traveling between two spots, constantly, for hours on end. Each new crafting level increases success chance by 5% but the number of grindstones needed just increases exponentially. Game doesn't always save eit

Had to change my review after 8 years because the app is so much worse. Requires an account and there is a major glitch that covers the bottom part of the screen that will kick you out of the game for even touching. Not worth playing at all in this state.

The game encourages creation of a Paradox account. No problem. Check boxes for terms of service, and privacy policy, no problem. But... I'm unable to create a Paradox account unless I agree to let you email me spam? Problem. Big problem. I had this game installed for ages before this was implemented, and will now uninstall.

i remember this game being really cute and fun, and played it a lot a few years ago. i went to try it again now and was prompted to make a new account? i was disappointed because i am worried that i will not have aby progress saved from my original play through. I but i dont know if that is true because the register account screen appears to be broken, after you fill out all the he fields the submit button doesn't work. feeling double disappointed.

I liked this game a ton when i started. But eventually battles stopped being interesting as i had a repetitive pattern I'd just keep doing. Late game becomes a grind and is mind numbingly repetitive. But the art, story, and gameplay style are funny and well produced. just wish it had more to offer.

This game is awesome very fun, cool idea... it loses two stars because it had a tendency to quit on me randomly making me lose my progress... Yea I could save after every single thing, but the only way to save that I see is save and quit... Also it gets ridiculously hard later on making it basically pay to win

Used to play the original back in the day, but really disappointed with this one. In addition to the registration issues others are facing, on my Samsung Galaxy S8+, the game only covers about 75% of the screen, with the top and bottom showing whatever I previously had open. These issues are annoying enough to where I can't play , so I refunded the game unfortunately

A real gem on mobile! It's very much meta gaming, but proves that meta gaming can be fun. I love that you play interesting 'real-life' characters who are playing the fantasy RPG. It's turn based, which is hard to find on mobile for some reason. I love being able to take my time! The best thing about it is that you get to choose what to do. You aren't forced to do things in a specific order (though you may sometimes find that you've wandered into maps that you aren't ready for yet.

This is a lovely game i owned on my ipad 5 years ago. what bugs me in this version of the game is the fact that it doesn't fill up the screen (bottom part is my phones background), and the game auto-rotates even though i turned that off on my phone... apart from that i like the re-experience.

Love the retro feel. Leveling up new PC's to reasonable power levels with existing PC's is easy. Would like the game expanded more. Bought the one expansion and it was not as long as I would have hoped. Now all I can do is level up to go dragon hunting but that does get boring. More expansions till reaching lv 30 would be cool to keep the interest going. Overall still very fun and I enjoy it.

Edit: I re-downloaded this game on my S21 and am experiencing a weird bug that makes the app unable to open in full screen. I wish there were more games like this one, I completed it twice on my iPod and recently bought it on my s5. I also wanted to know if there is anyway for me to transfer purchases from my iPod version to this one.

This used to be a great little game that I could play without having to fuss with account logins and so on. Great pixel art, fun interactions and lots of silly fun quests. Now It won't start, Won't let you play without registering yet another account. Won't actually allow you to register for said account. A game can be the world's most fun experience unless it becomes so much of a hassle that you can't play it.

I have lots of good memories playing this game, but unfortunately, despite paying for it, the publisher Paradox has abandoned maintenence. Game runs fine on my device running android 10, but does not properly fit the scree on my device running android 11, leaving a big distracting box at the bottom showing my app drawer. If you have a device running an older version of android then play away; for newer devices you may not have very much luck.

I started with KoP&P back in the original version. they upgraded to the +1 and I had to start all over, okay then Paradox bought them and I had to create a new account and lost all of the upgrades I had bought, not cool. Now I log in and I get ! Updating cloud storage and any hour glass that spins for eternity. The game is unplayable. Will not pay money to Paradox ever again.

If only there was a no star option. Bought the game open it to find the worst bug ever. Literally have a gap at the bottom of the screen, where the Samsung system has their menu buttons, and when in game you just happened to touch that part it automatically kicks you out of the game and what's even worse... you need a darn account in order to save your progress. BUT i couldn't even make an account. So I have to restart the game ever 5 seconds. Worst money spent ever. Reached out to devs no reply

Bought this several years back, saw recently that they made a second one and decided to reinstall the first. I don't remember my login so was just going register a new account, but once I enter in the info and click register, it doesn't do anything, just sits there. So, I downloaded it on my tablet and when I open it, it freezes everything. I remember loving the game and the second one is fun too, but I'm just really bummed I can't go back and play this one again.

It's your typical old school rpg game. Nothing special about it. The story is unique, the dialogue is fun, but the problem with old school rpg's is how easy and simple they are. So long as you continue to grind to level you will find no difficulty in beating the game. If this game could offer some actual strategy it would actually be fun. Otherwise it's kinda stale to play.

The game idea is sound too bad the game programming code isn't. The game is fairly buggy ranging from pop up errors when you switch scenes to much worse lost days errors. if you decide to waste time on the game save VERY OFTEN or be ready for a few hours of work to completely disappear. I really wanted to enjoy this game as a fun parody time waster that was easy to drop in and out of but after about the 4th time you lose about 2 to 4 hours of progress, you eventually just give up.

Used to play this game and loved it. Re-downloaded to find that you need an account to save your progress. Not a huge deal (STILL ANNOYING AF), but the deal breaker was when nothing happened when I tried to register a new account. Kept hitting the "register" button which depressed, but nothing else would happen. Shut down the app and restarted, same issue. The game's good, but not good enough to put up with poorly implemented afterthought features.

This game gets a full five stars from me. It's a great turn-based RPG that has a wonderful retro feel, from the old school pixilation to the clever banter between the PCs and the GM. There are zero ads or in-app purchases. The gameplay is incredibly easy to understand while being challenging enough to keep me pushing forward. My recommendation; take a chance and roll the dice.
