Still freakin' great six years on! I can't believe I'm updating a review about GLWG 2 that I wrote in 2014. But yeah, it's still totally lives up to its name. Just play it, already! Big respect to the dev team. The changes over the years are always good.

Pretty badass game for real. It would be better with character and equipment mods but I've been playing it for the last 3 hours straight so what customization they do have is is enough to keep me busy

It is an amazing game recommend for strategic gameplay I just wish I had a split screen mode like the first one. And more levels. But great game overall

I like this sequel but sadly there is no skirmish only campaign but still its has a lot of stage's in the campaign so it didn't not really bother me that this game does not have a skirmish, and I like the a sign in the heads of the soldiers that I know who I am controlling to attack.

Exactly what it should be. A fun strategy game that can actually be challenging (3 adjustable difficulties). I've played a version of this as a kid, and this is better. Highly recommend for strategy game enjoyers.

Fun and addictive. Should be an option to clear progress and restart so you can play at higher difficulty. A couple of the levels are way hard, could use a little level design tweaking.

One of my favorite games I have run across. Good strategy game with plenty of levels and upgrades. Also no annoying adds ever 2 minutes like most games.

Fantastic game, with only a few flaws. I think that the biggest fundamental flaw with this game is its positive feedback loop. DEVELOPERS, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, *PLEASE* watch the Game Maker's Toolkit video on youtube titled "How Games Use Feedback Loops"!!! It's important that developers of strategy games, ESPECIALLY those with permanent upgrades, really understand feedback loops! Currently, the game has been designed to get easier the further you get, until it's trivial, even on Hard mode.

This is a turn based strategy war game. The game play is brilliant, graphics ace and a really enjoyable game. There are no micro transactions or adverts and it isn't pay to win. Thanks for creating such a fun game.

the game was fun from when i first played it when it came out so i thought about it and bought it. sadly it was not what i remembered. also that fact that you could buy helicopters and stuff with your stars, but find out you could not use them for another 20 levels was a let down. i do think that need to be fixed into something like you are not allowed to buy anything untill your at least 5-3, because if you buy anything you would want to use it. can i have a refund, this game just made me sad.

Love this game. Best tactical turn based game I've played so far on mobile. I only gave 4 stars though because of the upgrade system...it doesn't tell u what is being upgraded exactly on each unit when u spend the points u have earned. Please fix and will give it 5 stars. Otherwise great game. Very fun. If u like this try Warlords Of Aternum too. Very good as well

AI is terrible. Still doing stupid things. Played on hard. You can upgrade your units but you have no idea what your points are buying you. Just costs more. Upgraded my engineer's; did nothing. Has annoying tanks that drive by your screen after each turn. Settings are much more limited than original. Graphics are not as good. This is not an evolution. It's just money grabbing.

I've loved the entire GLWG series, but I have to say this one is the weakest so far. It is fun but way too easy even on the hard difficulty setting. I also don't like the lack of the gold, silver, and bronze trophies for finishing within a certain amount of days.

Sadly nowhere near as good as its predecessor. It's fun ... for a while. But the AI is super dumb. I mean it's pretty easy to win every battle even on difficult setting. I got 4 chapters from the end and uninstalled. Shame. Loved the first one

Rather a disappointment compared with Rubicon's other Little War Games. It is quite limited and a little easier than the other versions. That's fine - but the frequent pop-ups demanding reviews are really not acceptable in a paid-for game. Especially as those pop-ups can't be cancelled without going to the app store.

ENEMY SPAWN IS BUGGED! Immediately after spawning, enemy units get a targeting bonus. For example, an infantry spawns and moves all of its possible tiles. Then that infantry somehow fires beyond it's normal range with no accounting for obstacles. So even though my units are positioned out of range, they still get shot. Worse yet, they can't counter-attack. Same is true if an enemy unit moves behind a rock, or a pipe after spawning. It basically gets a free attack.

Fun for what it is. Not much there though. Don't expect a super involved tactical strategy. Move guy. Shoot guy. Units don't really appear to make much of a difference beyond how close you have to be before you can shoot. Virtually zero customization. Upgrades are pointless, I guess? Also awards battle points for said upgrades but points don't always show up.

This is a turn based strategy game. It has no microtransactions or advertising! So rare these days. +1 star for that. I'm up to mission 39 of 60. My main 3 criticisms are... 1. Difficulty. Only 2 missions not beaten easily. Those 2 missions were so hard I ended up watching YouTube videos to get past them. 2. It would be nice to have a bit more variety than only 3 types of mission. 3. I hope the developers will add multiplayer or release a dedicated multiplayer version.

Great game. GLWG1 had so much potential but ended up being a bit of a bust. This game fixes that by fixing some bugs, adding some unlockables, and making a game that builds up instead of just throws you in. Add to that some better graphics and it's an A+. Not to mention free with the play pass 3 years later I played through the game again and it was just as good. Please add new levels!

The game is getting older now, but it's still fun. It's a great, yet simple, turn-based strategy game. Unlike some of the other Rubicon war games, this one starts out VERY simple. The others have 1-or-2 introductory missions, then jump to real missions. This game takes a little more time, which is a good thing. It gives players a chance to build up points, which are necessary for upgrading/unlocking units.
