Amazing game. Gau autobattle attack has been fixed, which is a plus. Angler welk has been fixed for the most part, except for death inducing weapons. Personally, I have no complaint about the control. Still with you could keep Kefka steals and bonus content. An option for original music would be nice. None the less, a near perfect remake of my favorite final fantasy game.

I have my complaints about this game but if I view it just on the basis of a mobile game it's outstanding. There are some criticism like the font and lack of controller support. I also belive if you bought the previous mobile version of the game you shouldn't have to pay for this. That said this is the best version of the game I have ever play.

The game itself looks great and is just like I remember. The issue is the awful controls. The on-screen joystick is finicky, and the "tap" method is even worse. I feel like the controls in many other mobile FF games have been way better. Other than the controls, I have no complaints.

Overall it runs smoothly. I recommend getting the game, but there are some minor annoying things ( for me personally). •Touch system only works in caves and towns •Everything just looks flat compared to the other 5 pixel remasters •No controller support ( wouldn't bother me if the touch movement system worked in all locations like the previous ones did) Never played the original so I can't say how good the graphics are now and what looks different.

I don't think the controls were as bad as people were saying, but they were annoying - I was able to put up with them. The graphics are phenomenal and the remaster is really well done. The music is fantastic - however, I do kind of wish I was hearing the original soundtrack. In all I do recommend this walk down nostalgia lane, it's worth it.

The games really fun, just looks like a derpier version of the original but with better looking effects and graphics, really annoyed that I just got the money to get the game hoping to get the extra content (dragon's den, ultimate weapons, etc.) But it's not there anymore after this version came out., so that takes a lot away from this. But it is still nice that I can play the game on the go. Just if square could update this with the extra content/controller support, it would deserve 5 stars.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this remaster, and I love what they did with the opera scene. There are a few glitches here and there, and it feels like the game is slower during certain animations than its snes counterpart. My only major gripe I have is with Gau, both in battles and leveling on the Veldt. During autobattle mode rages must be chosen each time; and on the Veldt the party battle actions are not cleared when Gau reappears, so I end up hitting him accidentally. I hope it gets patched!

Fantastic Game, AMAZING soundtrack. I've played this many times, and couldn't resist the pixel remaster. The music is so beautifully arranged in such a way that it sounds more orchestral. While I desperately wish there was controller support (honestly...) the controls are forgivable and pretty easy on the game. I'm at the tale end, and it was worth every penny.

Game looks great and runs smooth. FFVI is one of the top three best FF games of all time. There are major audio issues though on the Samsung S22 Ultra when using Bluetooth headphones. Music and sound effects are broken and crackly, and there is noticable lag in the audio as well. I have tried reinstalling the app and restarting device but it didn't fix anything.

Great remaster. Excellent music, really good lighting and new pixel spell effects. Character sprites are updated, but reminiscent of original sprites. The maps are more useful than before. Excellent extras such as the art gallery and music play back. The only negative is that the touch controls were better on the previous Android release, and no controller support is a real bummer. I hope controller support comes to all the remasters one day.

This is a worthy edition FF6 but with flaws. It has a marvelous orchestral score. Many quality of life improvements for pathfinding and other little touches. But, on a moto 4g play (2021), it crashes all the time. Every 5 minutes. Put in airplane mode and this reduced the rate to once every 30 minutes but still too many. Never saw the full ending cutscene after beating the final boss because the game crashed in the middle of it.

I have played the original SNES version, the ROM on Windows via an emulator, and the previous Android release. As far as I can tell, The Dragon Dungeon and Soul Shrine are not included per the previous release. While this is not that big of a deal, it would've been a great idea to include it and other new material. The graphics and music have been re-done and both look and sound fantastic. Many fans have complaints about the Pixel Remasters. If you are a major fan of the game, it is worth it.

FF6 is still my favorite. Not a perfect remaster, however. The touch controls for certain things are difficult to deal with, most notably trying to switch the Rows of your characters in the Formation menu. Lack of controller support is annoying. And this is very specific, but Gau isn't good for a new reason: he doesn't function with Auto-Battle. It sets him to Attack, which isn't even a command he normally can do, rather than using the last Rage you had selected. Seems like an oversight.

Most, a good port of the original SNES game, with an update in graphics, sound, and text/translation. Cannot give the full 5 star rating however, due to the lack of some content not available for the mobile version that is in the Gameboy advance release. None of the new summons/spells, none of the new bosses, nor access to the new dungeon. And after saving post credits, the stolen Ultima Weapon and Illumina sword do not show up in your inventory. Disappointing, but still a good play.

Upfront the negatives, the lack of controller support was frustrating but was manageable. I'd love to replay this on a tablet or TV with a controller and am annoyed they wouldn't throw that in since they have them on console and steam.... Also lacks the extra content of other releases. The positives Amazing orchestrated music. When I heard about it I was annoyed that it wasn't the original SNES music. This music is what you REMEMBER in your head and more. Its spectacular. Enhanced effects

Opening credits removed, but consoles have them. No controller support. Touch controls are not great. Edit: Controller support added as well as cloud saves which is great and they added back the opening credits, so I am upping to 3.5 stars. Why did it take them so long to add this when console versions got it right away. There is still content missing from other versions.

The 1.10 update added controller support. This was perfect timing as I picked a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro a week or so earlier. I've put 15 wonderful hours into the game so far and it's been nothing stellar. It's taking me back to when I played Final Fantasy III (as it was called then). Such a magical experience.

I previously wrote a negative review here talking about the lack of gamepad support, which is honestly a deal breaker for me. Well, they finally added it, but I wish they did it on release, hence the 4 stars. I also wish it had the bonus content in the GBA version because as far as I know, it doesn't. Problems aside, it's still Final Fantasy VI--a beautiful game that still holds up 30 years later.

I've played about an hour or two so far but I'm going to get a refund because I cannot stand the controls, why oh why is there not controller support? It would make this a much more enjoyable experience, the tap controls sometimes work but getting through doors is impossible so I'm constantly switching between tap controls and the move wheel, other than the awful controls this game looks amazing and sounds great too, the difference between this and the 1994 version is insane!

Best game ever !!! Problems with cloud saving. As of February 19, 2024, I have been having issues with cloud saving doing the uploading and downloading.. I've tried several ways to solve this issue as I restarted my phone and checked for game updates and software updates on my phone, tho none worked. I also brought out one of my old phones and downloaded the game new to see if it was a problem with my new phone, and it wasn't.. the same issue is happening for both phones. Thank you.
