Good until The Mountains. This game is extremely frustrating. It was okay until getting to the mentioned level, then it just became absolutely frustrating and unplayable.

this game is a blast, one of the most graphically advanced turn based strategy games on the market and it's great they made one with online multiplayer. SUPPORT: I wrote that review a long time ago. I'm sorry if I was rude.

Love the game. Would have given a five star if the general would spend less time dancing at the start of each turn. It becomes unbearable after some time.

I was a little wary at first because of the price but SOOOOOOO WORTH IT!!! If you've been a fan of their previous games you are going to love this one! It's a lot more strategic and the amount of options you have to accomplish the mission is astronomical. 10/10 would recommend.

A good game, fun, big, easy to get the hang of, but would it be possible for more units. I could see the developers adding in a sea - land ballistic missile submarine in the next update. Oh! And maybe a return of landmines and perhaps even naval mines? The size of the maps now means naval blockades could be viable. Update: issue with app license. Even after buying it fair and square I am now getting messages falsely claiming I don't have the license and demanding I buy the app. Fix this

Game runs fine, game mechanics seem alright. The controls / visual interface of the game are terrible though. In a strategy game you want to clearly get information about all of your units quickly, and this game provides that very poorly.

I miss the litte things of the older GLWG/GBWG (Fog of War, upgrading units, ammo/fuel limits). The AI feels WAY too difficult, seems they always have a huge advantage. You can win, but it's usually a 30 (in-game) day slog that ends up being more tedious than it is fun.

ELWG started with high hopes but is now unsupported by the developer. If you divide the game into two sections, you play the AI in the skirmishes and campaigns - it's very good and you are able to customise skirmishes. Many long term players use this feature. Online, there are very few players and some at the start level are using hacked or cheat copies, this cannot be reported. Communication is 'Live Chat', but it is not administered, it is off topic and abusive, not suitable for children.

Only issue I really have is on the Coop mode when playing with a friend. Unfortunately the AI difficulty could not be changed and the AI in coop is RIDICULOUSLY overpowered. To the point where the amount of money it generates per turn is IMPOSSIBLY high and could be almost impossible to beat.

I loved GLWG, and picked this up expecting similar. Unfortunately I found this iteration to be extremely tedious, with every level taking 20 to 40 game days. The lack of collectables and upgrades also means I feel like I'm not making any progress, aside from completing levels which I don't find fun in this version anyway.

Great potential, needs work. Mostly related to the online. There should be time options per turn when playing online similar to most chess apps. Currently at 24 hours which is rediculous as you can take months for a single game. There should also be the option to review past games or even share them to study or brag about strategic victories. In the older games theres was fog of war which was removed. There should be the option for this. Should be able to see opponents rating. Much to fix

I love this game. I want to give it 5 stars, but it crashes from time to time mid turn which is very frustrating. *** Update: it still crashes. My phone has logged 47 instances of the app crashing. I'm going to lower the rating from 3 down to 1

Good game, with skirmish mode, random generated maps and land air sea units. But sfx seems ruining the ingame animation, it stutters to every sfx when in 90hz and 120hz refresh rate. Hope to be fixed soon.

Extremely fun and engaging strategy game. A few reviewers say that some missions take too long, but using the save slots you can avoid mistakes and I managed to complete the entire mission campaign in 126 game days total (after many saves and redo's). Your engineers can cover distance quickly by building a factory, spawning a jeep, then destroying the factory to recoup some coin. Also skyhooks can carry a jeep with an engineer for even faster travel 😉

Great game, 1 small issue. Level 11" Mountains" the enemy is way too overpowered. After 78 in game days of playing that level, I haven't made a scratch on the enemy HQ. It seems like the enemy has infinate money on that level. Constantly building turrets that I must say are overpowered by themselves, let alone the constant bombing and attacking from "Behemoths". It would be great if you lowered the enemy's starting money, or make so the enemy doesn't start with turrets everywhere. Good game tho.

seems like an awesome game, lots of units and possibilities for strategic games. it comes pretty close to advance wars and I'm thrilled. I'm especially interested in online games with friends, and one thing that bothers me is: if one of us misses the 24h turn limit, the game kicks that player. why is there even a time limit? when i start a match with a friend i want to finish with said friend, i don't care if there's a week long break in between. and we need push notifications. otherwise fun!

I bought this game when it came out, loved all the little war games, but after not playing for a couple years, I convinced a friend to purchase so we could play online and the game keeps crashing, approximately every 4 or 5 turns. Very frustrating after making all my moves and then suddenly I'm looking at my home screen. If this gets fixed I'll rate at 5 stars again. Thanks

The Epic Little War Games are a ton of fun. It's a war strategy game where combat takes place on hexagon tiles and you have to build your bases and take over enemy bases. It's kind of like an RTS in a lot of ways just not real time. Playing with your friends in two player mode is a blast too. It's couch co-op style too so it brings back the good Ole days of playing with your friends right next to you.

I've been playing strategy games with a rock/paper/scissors battle system since Desert Commander on NES. This game starts off fun and I appreciate that the levels get progressively more difficult. But the later levels aren't so much difficult as bloated. It just becomes a matter of lagging load times because both sides are tanking.

Great game when playing against AI but online play sucks: once your turn is over, you stop seeing the map until it is your turn again. This makes it much less engaging, because while you wait for the opponent to do a move, you can not strategize and plan your next move. You also see all of your opponents moves in one go instead of seeing them as they do them one by one. I don't understand why developers made it this way, it doesnt seem like it would have been harder to let you look at the map.
