This game has some unique concepts in it and I also like the artstyle. However, I experienced a bug in the campaign where the pass button disappeared. Also sometimes the game is laggy, hope this will be fixed soon!

Great game, poor user interface. There are glitches that make the game no longer playable since it refuses to let you play cards or do anything. Once fixed I would rate it higher. Update: ok this game cheats, it skips my turns and freezes so I can not play my cards. I am so annoyed with that.

White Wizard, you're better than this. The card game itself is great. I have the physical game. The problem is the campaign in this app. Starts out with a great curve and then immediately becomes impossible. I'm not just complaining, this is a literal truth. The AI blue deck is designed to be perfect, giving huge amounts of card draw and free plays. The problem is that you can't customize your deck in campaign so there is literally no way to compete against it. Poor app execution.

Epic Card Game is fantastic, has beautiful cards, and the app is great for learners and intermediate/expert players alike. The AI is fun to play, realtime games work well and I've always found a match, and the deck-building interface is easy to use. Highly recommend to players who like Magic: the Gathering (MtG) and other living card games.

I own the physical card game, but I can't always find opponents to play. So I bought the app to have opponents anytime I play. I was not disappointed. This game rocks! No more MtG for me, I'll be playing Epic! The strategy is MUCH deeper than at first glance. And there are a TON of ways to play it! Epic is my new card game addiction.

Better than any other TCG or CCG type of card game, but I still prefer to play deckbuilding card games. If you're into the TCG or CCG type, then you need to play this game. The AI is slow, very slow. Some of the buttons are too small for my phone. But on a tablet I'll assume that won't be an issue. I have this on pc via Steam, so I'm glad for that and that it has a sync option. Definitely needs a bit more polish, but overall it is an excellent game.

I would love to actually play this game, but I cannot progress in the campaign. I have notified the developers multiple times, but there has been no response. I own all of Wise Wizard's analog card games, so I was looking forward to the digital adaptation. Very disappointing app.

Game is awesome, but seems to have quite a few bugs. Sometime the AI is "thinking" and won't make a move or freezes. Sometimes it passes when I want to play a card. Longer games seem to run into more issues, maybe there is a memory leak somewhere?

The game is fun...if it works. Maybe I'm misunderstanding or missing something, but there are times when it won't let me block at all with cards I can clearly block with. It just won't let me select anything. If this is fixed then the app would be great because the game is fun when it works

Hit a roadblock on tutorial mission 2. The game mechanics offer little on momentum, making it a slog. On M2, the AI plays the same 2 cards every time you attack, making it impossible to break through. I have played MtG, Star Realms, SotM, Ascension, Legendary, etc for years, and found Epic App thoroughly unenjoyable. Have not played physical version, but this app has made me not want that, either.

Games last FOREVER. I played the AI on BEGINNER for over 35 mins and the game just doesnt go anywhere. The AI ALWAYS has a way to save itself at the last second NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO. It shouldnt be that hard to win a game on beginner...and i come from MTG. I understand the importance of interactive gameplay and I could understand if i had it set on a high difficulty, but COME ON. I dont recommend this game unless you have HOURS to spend on one battle. Uninstalled

I like the Epic card game. This delivers some of that but with a LOT of shackles. The biggest pro2i have with the game is pacing. It is rough. You spent most the match mashing pass over and over and over and over again. I get that the many phase bit is a core element, but just auto pass or something if there isn't anything I can do. You already know what can be done with the highlights, so adding that in should be a cake walk. Fixing the pacing would make this a 5 star app I think.

Great game. Takes complete focus and good tactical plan to play well. The AI occasionally makes very stupid moves, but so do I. To those saying that the campaign is impossible to beat, they need to try harder and think out of the box. After level 10 you need to adapt your strategy to deal with the AI's stacked decks. It was difficult, but I completed the full campaign.

After the last update, AI is still broken. An hour wait and still never makes a move. Keeps you from playing on your turn. And skips your turn. Or it completely freezes and does nothing. After exciting the game and force closing it it still doesn't fix it. I've cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Tried everything I could think of only to have it continue to be a disappointment. I'm giving up on this. Same with the physical game.

This game is like if magic the gathering had a much much more interesting combat 👌 Everyone says the campaign is impossible. I only had to retry a single mission to get through it. I've played the paper game before, and I generally have good strategy and tactics for these kinds of games. It's not luck based; this game has a very high skill ceiling. Drafting is super fun (1v1 drafting is very rare for a game to have). Having all cards from the get go is fantastic. A+ game

Played the tutorial, and then it sent me to the campaign. The campaign said I should log in. After figuring out how to make an account ("Play Online" = "Create Account"!?), I went back to play the campaign. Then it just hung on a loading screen while giving me annoying notifications that someone wanted to play an "Arena" game. I tried restarting the app twice, but the campaign never loaded.

I originally rated this 1/5 because it was unplayable for a very long time due to constant breaking bugs. I'm glad to say that after giving it another try recently, my experience has been flawless. It's a crying shame it took so long (several years and many physical releases) for Epic to get the digital treatment it deserves, but here it is.
