■STORY
Enshrined atop Mt. Illusia, high above the lofty clouds, stands the Tree of Mana. Drawing its life energy from the boundless celestial aether, the sentinel grows in silence. Legend holds that he who lays his hands upon its trunk will be granted power eternal―a power the Dark Lord of Glaive now seeks to further fuel his bloody quest for domination.
Our unlikely hero is one of countless gladiators indentured to the Duchy of Glaive. Each day, he and his ill-fated companions are dragged from their cells and bade to fight exotic beasts for the amusement of the Dark Lord. If victorious, they are thrown back into the dungeons with just enough bread to tide them over until their next match. But a body can only take so much, and it is never long before the weary captives succumb to their cruel fates.
■SYSTEM
Adventures of Mana's battle system grants you the freedom to move about the playing field without restriction, allowing for thrilling combat in which you decide when to attack and how to evade.
・Controls
Player movement is achieved via a virtual joystick accessible anywhere on the screen. An auto-adjust feature has also been added so that even if your thumb strays from its original position, you will never lose control of the hero.
・Weapons
Weapons are divided into six unique categories, some with uses beyond merely dealing damage. Determining when and where to equip each kind will prove the key to success on your quest.
・Magic
From restoring lost HP or removing various ailments, to rendering foes incapacitated or dealing deadly blows, there are eight different spells for almost any occasion.
・Obstacles
Bloodthirsty enemies are not the only things standing in the way of completing your quest. You will need both tools and your wits to overcome the many challenges encountered in the world of Mana, ranging from locked doors to hidden rooms to traps growing progressively more complex as the game progresses.

Glitch on the roof of the mansion in jadd is preventing me from progressing. I never usually spend so much purchasing a game but i loved this game before so i thought id give it a go. Please fix this glitch so i can carry on and give you 5stars. Update** glitch didnt happen on a new file. Game is awesome :)

I've been playing (mostly free) hack and slash rpg apps for a while and I loved the look of this game. After paying the enormous amount for this port I realized only after a couple minutes of gameplay how simplistic and unintuitive this game really is. Compared to other games I've played the controls aren't very responsive to the dodgey enemies, there are barely any variety of skills or items and the entire game is so dumbed down to suit a toddler. Literally the only thing I liked was the style

Fun game but WAY TOO EASY! I hope square will add an option for harder game-play; for example double enemy stats or something.... Apart from not posing any difficulty it is a nice game and has a good story to it. Good controlls and easy to learn how to play.

It's a great game but it's pain to get all the achievements because there's a point of no return. Make sure to get all other non XP based achievements and all possible items and equipment before completing the Dime Tower.

the game would have gotten a 5 star but there is one part if you run out of keys you are stuck and you cant proceed. the part before you go up the waterfall. it is recomanded that you put a shopkepper there (developers) or take always 20 keys with you else you will realise the issue. the monsters there dont drop keys as well

Borderline unplayable, constant force closes. On S9 and running android 8.0.0. First got scythe and it force closed about 5 times as I tried to escape the area where I needed to cut the grass. Now on Davius and I can't attack him without the game force closing. Spells, items, weapons, doesnt matter. Two attacks and it closes (10+ times) so I'm stuck now.

TL;DR; My one advice if you play this game: Save on normal save slots often. My quicksave is unrecoverable and I lost all progress near the end of the game. Having been a secret of mana and final fantasy fan for decades, I was excited to play this. I had few complaints until I got near the end of the game and a monster poisoned me near low health and I moved forward a screen. Now the quicksave is saved on my moment of death and no trickery seems able to revive my character. So I guess I'm done

A very good—albeit simple—game. The music is great, but things like the minimal story, the uninspired enemies, and the barebones combat feel too "retro" for their own good. It is also a really easy game, so you won't get a challenge from AoM, but you will get a fun game that will provide you with a nice, classic ARPG experience.

Much better now that the crashing issue has been fixed. Used to be that having too many sprites on the screen (e.g. in some boss fights) would crash the game instantly. Nice to see that it's been fixed. I was able to beat the game on my Galaxy S7 Edge with barely any issues.

Great app. Really similar to the story and basic setup of the original Gameboy game. New graphics make It look axing, and the remade soundtrack is great. Also like how the option to change the games music to be the originals. Yes it is basic, and fairly short. But is definitely worth the money if your looking for a good jrpg.

An oversight by the developers caused the game to become unplayable, ruining my playthrough. In an area south-east on the map, it is possible to be caught between two rows of boulders that you need a pickaxe to break, because boulders respawn. I'm out of pickaxes and cannot proceed. I also can't backtrack to get more cuz again, the boulders behind me respawned too. So I am trapped in that spot forever. That is horrible game design, and the worst oversight in video game history.

Awesome game, loved the classic gb version too. I just recently started a new file but the enemies in the eastern cave won't spawn unless I save my file inside the cave, close the game, and then open the game again. The real problem is that the enemies, once I do get them to spawn, won't drop a mattock so I can't progress any further :[ Haaalp please

This app is obviously developed by Skilled Programmers. No performance issues, consistent frame rates and bug fixes on updates. There are less than 1mb of user data generated by this app even though my save data was like lvl 57. It can even run on Redmi 9A and possibly on some old non-flagship phones. The gameplay is very similar to Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap and Some parts of Evoland 2 combined.

An old-school adventure play🔑, pretty remake into 3d. Nice newer music, but the original(chiptune) sounds fit to me. Controller(tap) is fine, adaptation a bit, then journey and slashing gonna be fun⚔️. Story is straightforward, no side quest. I was stucked at desert trip, need external reference, then finally I can continue progress, until the end.. 🍬

After 10 hours of playing glitch happended when enemy attacked, and whole screen became black and auto-saved the game. The game could not be continued.

This is a remake of a very old Gameboy game called Final Fantasy adventure. I'm only a few hours in and despite the fresh coat of paint the game is spot on and follows the original very closely. I'd give it 5 stars but for the glitches... also you can get stuck without keys or matoks so keep a big stock on you before hitting a dungeon

Having played Final Fantasy Adventure recently, it was a joy to get to experience that game with the updates. The original was excellent, and this remake fixes the minor problems and enhances things to make a good game great. I highly recommend this game to any who are interested in RPGs or who want to see how the Mana series began with an updated, modern format.

If you don't remember or haven't played the original, this plays a lot like a clone of the original Zelda. From the grid layout of the overworld to the action RPG combat system. This combat system however, has a little more depth. You can equip various types of weapons, & spells, which play a factor when dealing with weak or immune enemies or environmental objects (such as trees chopped with the axe or ghosts burned with a fire spell). The game is great! I would give a 5 star, however, there is a bug at Davias boss that crashes it. I guess the animations are too much. Please fix or find a workaround for this. I already submitted a bug report. If you fix this and I can continue (without having to grind til I can 1 shot the boss...) then I'll give 5 stars! Until then I'm not playing. If never fixed, I'll demand a refund.

Almost 1:1 remake of the original gameboy. It's is a lot easier since you are no longer constrained to four directions, and now the spells have some auto targeting, but apart from the 3d face-lift, this will strike you as the exact game you remember. Oh, that also means your npc partners and enemy mobs are just as stupid as they were before. Also, make sure to pack plenty of mattocks and keys, so you don't get stuck... thankfully, I remembered that from when I was a kid.
