The ap itself works fine, good streaming, easy to use and search the interface etc... but the content sucks. There are a few old titles that are fairly decent but the vast majority of what you find here is just trash. The best quality stuff would be movies from the Asylum. The same studio that brought you the Sharknado movies, if that gives you an idea of what is to be found on this ap. The quality of the content goes down from there.

Thought it be good but each time I open the app it's different. Not all channels and app strings/ options available on each android client. For example search by channel, location for news and weather, search option, etc on my TVs app, but have that all on the phone app. These options were there yesterday. Uninstalled. Thought it be great and got a few friends to download it. Showed them this and they have removed it too. Casting to device missing channels works for 20 sec then stops

The navigation experience is HORRIBLE. Charter thinks this service is going to replace the standard cable boxes? Ha! You can't jump directly to a specific channel (like you can on a cable box). You can't do a search for specific TV or movie titles, like you can on other apps. It's a headache trying to find something specific, especially if you know what time a particular live show is supposed to be on, but can't go to that channel directly.

It does not allow true access to streaming networks as advertised, just a very limited selection of shows from each of them. Will not allow searching for a desired show within a network. Live TV is decent, and I'm sure some of the content is good. App works smoothly for me. Just an overall letdown by deceptive claims.

Three years ago, I left a review complaining about the excessive commercials at odd times interrupting scenes. Three years later, nothing has changed. Watched a movie, still a lot of commercials, and still right in the middle of a scene. Take lessons from Tubi and others, what few commercials they have are put between scene changes.

Constantly reparative commercials. Constant gaps in the streaming process. Too many restarts when you're halfway through a feature. When a restart begins it starts you all the way from the beginning of the show you watch. Overall not a very promising experience. Well, I do thank you for your feedback. And would love to help you in regards to resolving this issue. I did go to the xumo support and sadly there was no one to talk with. just a bunch of Q&A. Sorry I could not help. Q&A did not help

There is no screen reader supports for the channel buttons. The buttons need to be coded so that screen readers will know what they are. Makes it more difficult for visually impaired people, especially since the channels have different various fonts. Some are harder to read than others. I would have definitely gaven more stars if it had been supported.

This came preinstalled on a Samsung TV. Channels are growing and there are many that can interest anyone. What I like, aside from some of the channels you may not otherwise find, is the Program Guide so you can glimpse into what's playing on each channel and when & how long that show lasts. It's a good addition to local over the air broadcast TV and cable. Also, they have music channels of all sorts!

Won't play entire movie. It worked okay at first, but lately everytime I try to watch a movie or show it won't let me. As soon as I pick a channel it shows the first part, then it shows an ad, and then it starts over again. It keeps doing that that until it's time for the next movie. Then it starts doing that with the next movie. So you never get to actually see the show you wanted to watch in it's entirety. "Edit" The problem has been fixed so I returning it to 5 stars

Good movies, bad app. I watched one movie, good movie, no problems. Tried to watch a 2nd one. It got halfway through & it locked up. I finally gave up & went out & came back. This time it restarted where it left off, WITH NO SOUND! Particularly bad given it was a musical. I tried going out & back again, this time that movie didn't appear in the list so I tried to search for it. The search feature couldn't find it. One word title "Gypsy" & it couldn't find it. Good movies if you can see them.

I usually base mostly everything off of reading reviews. In this case of downloading this Xumo Play the reviews I read are wrong. I downloaded this app and it works perfectly. No buffering or any other issues. I was able to navigate through the different selections without a problem. I'll check back in if any of this changes, however so far I'm loving it!

This is kinda sucks tbh. I was watching a movie and got a call so obviously I answered and after the conversation was over, I went back to my movie. But it had started all the way back over. And even then I had to watch ads to even start the movie over. And while the last ad was still going, the movie started playing in the background. But the ad remained on the screen and didn't even give me the option to click out of it for a few minutes. Def gonna delete this nonsense.

I've had this app downloaded on every device I've owned. I like the simplicity of the app. As I like seeing that new content is always being added. I've tried many other movie/TV apps... This one buffers less than all the rest. I live in a rural area and so I have issues with playback. Where as this app makes watching something doable in my area. If I could give some advice... Please add settings in where we can adjust the quality on low/medium/or in full HD speeds.

When it works, it's great. However, since the takeover and change from XUMO to XUMO Play it fails to load half the time. Either a blank screen or error codes. Force stop and restarting usually gets it working, but you shouldn't have to do that every time I want to use the app. Even the support pages do not allow me to upload screen shots which is a requirement to submitting a service ticket, so that can't be done either...

Okay so this app has some major potential. But it has some major issues that just cannot be overlooked. The live TV is the best feature. A respectable selection and favorites options. The on demand is where this app falls short. Limited content which would be fine since they produce their own shows. But no search feature or favorites feature. This is a huge problem that makes the on demand mostly unusable unless you're binge watching. I hope to see those features very soon!

I really love the variety of programs they provide, but their ads are ridiculous. I know ads are what allow them to provide free content, but the number of ads they have is far more frequent than other services. In addition, they will also have the same ad repeat 3 or 4 times in a row. Ads don't do any good if you're annoying and pissing off the people watching them. So, as much as I like the variety of options, I can only watch Xumo for a very short time before I get fed up & turn it off.

Potential but lacks very basic but important features. Tons of free content with minimal ad interruptions. Only app that has all the seasons of a show I wanted to binge. But this service has no search feature, no way to favorite a show, no way to just pick up where you left off on a show, and the screen times out very fast when you navigate the menu or even when you pause whatever you had playing. Also, no user sign-in which also means no cross-device sync with show/movie progress.

Not my favorite streaming method and very hard to navigate on a mobile phone (no search option and only the ability to add channels to favorites). Also when the show comes back from a commercial break there's a 50% chance that it returns you to earlier in the show or the next episode. Thankfully there's only 1 series I couldn't find elsewhere so once watched I can uninstall. I didn't use the live tv experience so that may be better.

Absolutely trash! Loading takes forever, lots of ads and randomly just starts up a different movie. Then you have to find your movie again and rewatch the ads. On top of that there doesn't seem to be a search bar. Like what? No search bar. What kind of app is this?! 6 times and counting has this app directed me to a different movie while trying to watch just one single movie. Removing this app, extremely frustrating! Works just as horrible on TV as it does mobile app.

I like being able to watch shows I can't find elsewhere, but whenever an ad plays, it kicks me out of the episode I was watching and begins playing the next and I have to get out of the video player, go back to the menu, select the episode I had been watching, and manually try to find where I was in the episode. This is very inconvenient and significantly impedes the functionality of the app, which is why I have given it three stars. I would very much appreciate it if this bug was fixed.
