I only do review for wonderful product or very bad one. Switchcraft is an addictive game. It's engaging, it tickled your desire to know more, really nice story, the game have diversity and require to think of a strategy including elements of chance and choices. The drawing are beautiful. The downside, the puzzles can take a long time to get it right, since there is some luck into recieving the right block to match, AND I wish they shifted to puzzles like in lost land, or create spells....

After seeing ad after ad about this game, it was a TikToker who cosplayed McGonagall that finally got me to download it. Talk about perfect choice in marketing! I love the artwork, the ambient music, the characters... overall it's a beautiful game without excessive ads interrupting the immersion. The puzzles increase in difficulty the higher the level you go. I am currently in Book 1: Chapter 12 and on level 205. Absolutely in love with it so far, beautiful job, guys!

Found on reward play...just really wished the boosters didn't require a match to be able to use (other games u can just set off by double tap). Also wish the daily gift was a booster or coins, cuz it's almost always useless. I wish I could choose my friends because Rosie is a wet mop who was annoying me! Last thing I don't like is the Side Story. It has nothing to do with the storyline yet wastes the gems because you have to do it. It should be optional. I really do enjoy the game though!

The story is well written with many intriguing clues. The matching is challenging and the rewards for passing a puzzle are worth the effort, especially with the events that reward with power ups when consecutively passing levels. The purchase for coins has enough discounts to play for extended periods of time and packs that offer free, as in no lives used, along with the same period of time for all 3 power ups for free!!

EDIT: moving to 1 star. Game is basically unplayable now. beautiful game, but one flaw. The levels get ridiculously hard the higher you go, yet the rewards are the same as the lower levels. When you get to the point the story requires 3 gems to unlock it becomes as another person put it, a chore. Higher levels should have better rewards to keep the game from stagnating.

Gameplay is fun, aesthetically pleasing, and a good balance of challenging and satisfying. In-app purchases are perks rather than requirements, and ads are completely optional. The story has been pretty compelling: I love that there are no paywalled choices and you get queer romance options. Only issue is their events are kind of simplistic. Recently finished the game and though I was sad to discover there were no more levels coming out, it's kind of nice to have a wrapped, complete story.

Amazing game that I loved to play. Unfortunately something has happened and I can't get past the loading screen anymore. I tried rebooting my phone and I tried to uninstall and reinstall. I can't get back in 😭. For anyone who is playing the game there is an amazing story line with lots of choices for the user to choose from to determine the path of the story and fun levels of varying difficulty. It's a great game, just wish I could get back in

Good story, amazing art, but chapters are ridiculously short for the amount of die they cost. At some point they begin to cost 2 die per chapter pretty consistently. This was okay at first, but then I got a 'page' that cost 2 die and lasted for about 30 seconds. That kind of pushed me over. I have no problem playing the switching game. But it does get discouraging when you're playing harder and harder levels for very little chapter time. Wish chapters were smaller and more condensed for more die

Great game. I love how there is no pop-up ads. One thing I have been experiencing is when I am wearing head phones then put them away. The sound/music turn on even though it shows that they should both be off. Also finished the story line a few days ago and just wondering how often the game updates. Overall really good story and game mechanics.

Nice graphics, storyline is definitely only interested in the high school/college age group. Could be great if the actual storyline was pushed more than the ridiculous romance options (which are often not optional.) Some material is inappropriate for young players, and boring as hell for older people. Good puzzles, but uninstalled after the third forced "romantic" encounter. Kudos for trying to be inclusive, but the game designers apparently forgot that not everyone wants a romantic encounter.

very few crashes, unless if I start beating levels quick. sometimes if you have a couple too many power gems on the board and set them off, it freaks the game out and will ignore their effects. Besides that, it does drain my battery rather quick. But I enjoy the no ads. I don't play the story that much since I really just want to match the shapes and colors lol

I would give this game 5 stars IF IT WOULD STAY MUTED! Honestly, the art is beautiful, the puzzles are fun and not money-grubbingly challenging. The power ups are interesting, the characters are very good! Unfortunately, the game will randomly start playing music and sound effects despite both being disabled. I'll gladly raise my review to 5 stars if this gets fixed.

Amazing storyline, societal awareness, and gameplay itself. There were levels I sat back and marveled at all the tiles flying across the board, like using frogs in level 417 to splash green grass to every tile. The ads are limited to 5 a day, there's bonus materials to collect, and the chests/events have great timing for unlimited plays. My ONLY setback to this game is that I can't review the previous events! I would like to read the story front to back, but book 1 is blocked upon progression.

An addictive combination of match 3 and visual novel. They've definitely got a good handle on storytelling beats (each narrative section ends on a cliffhanger haha). The characters are likable, and the game is bug and typo free. On the match 3 side, new elements are introduced regularly such that it never becomes boring. There are a variety of ways to earn power ups and in-game currency so it's definitely not pay to win. Easy to both be engrossed for hours, or pick up briefly.

I love this game so much! The story and levels are engaging and fun, though the really hard levels are almost impossible without power ups which don't get given out too often without paying for them. Currently unable to play as my game freezes immediately after loading and I'm unable to access any parts of the game or scroll through anything. Will have to wait for an update to fix thw bug before I play again as another person uninstalled and lost their game progress

It's very addictive, and unlike a lot of choice-based games, you don't have to pay extra to make the choices you want. The levels get quite difficult and you should expect to replay many levels 5+ times. I have had to purchase boosters (so far $40) to finish some levels. I know a lot of players won't be able to do that. I hope the programmers make more options to get booster cards (watching ads, for instance). We don't need easy levels, just fair ones.

I had a lot of fun with this on my old device and I was at level 360 but when I got a new phone it deleted all my progress and set up a new account. I wasn't going to start over so I contacted support and asked if they could just transfer my save. After opening two request tickets and submitting everything they asked to fix the issue I got ghosted for a week. When I reached out a third time they said the issue was "resolved" and they closed my case. It was not resolved. I just uninstalled it 😐

I love this game, it's interesting and the art is beautiful, It's like a playable webtoon. However, I have an issue with level 129. The goal is to free 3 foxes and collect 30 stars, and you have 15 moves. I can't seem to get past this level and it's not even labeled hard. I looked up a guide to see if that would help, and the other players I watched only had to collect 20 stars and they had 23 moves. Why is it so much more difficult for me? Does anyone else have this problem?

I've had the app for years, and I will say that I love the storyline, design, gameplay, and choices, (I do sort of wish we could have multiple save files for different story results) but some of my grievances are while it's not necessarily pay to win, it's HEAVILY implied. 900 coins just for 5 more turns? Just to get 25 coins back per win, making it significantly difficult and discouraging to try again. I stopped being such a frequent player due to this, and how difficult the ongoing rounds are.

I absolutely love this game. It is a fantastic with a flushed out story and plenty of replay value which is weird to say about a mobile app. I switched phones recently and it started crashing in the middle of levels, if I try to redo a level., whatever there doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason to it, just "if I'm playing a level"
