The pods I have are great but the software sucks, anytime one gets out of sync I have to place them in the case a few times and wait for the app to recognize they are connected. WIsh there was a troubleshooting button and not a out of app list of things that don't fix the software, do they want people messing with the code directly?

Its a very simple and straight forward app to use.... however, if I change the audio from podcast to music, music to movie, etc., My audio starts repeatedly cutting in and about like something you'd do as a kid with your hands over your ears in the elementary cafeteria. The only way I've found I can fix the issue is completely turning off my headphones and turning them back on. Yesterday just to test, I disabled the app and had no trouble at all.

Giving 4 stars because there's so much more the app could possibly do. Wasn't hopeful with all the negative reviews, but chalked it to user error like others had said. When setting up personal sound I kept getting an error message. I had stopped listening to music to set it up the personal sound but error message. Then I tried it while listening and it worked. Set up my personal sound no problem and now I'm listening to the greatest product I've ever had the pleasure of listening to, CrusherEvo

Terrible, unusable app. The app detected my ANC headphones, but when I pressthe plus to add them, nothing happens and it goes back to the main screen with no devices added. I really want to adjust the equalizer settings but the experience is so poor that I'm stuck with an inferior sound. How hard could it be to add the detected and chosen device properly? Baffling.

This is possibly the most useless app I have ever downloaded. It's pretty much just a data collector for Skullcandy which is really disappointing. It tells you the condition of your headphones (which your phone already does), gives acces to basic features (which you can do through the headphones), and gives you instructions on how to use the features it gives you access to (which come with the headphones and can be found online). Do not download.

Voice command goes on and off automatically without even while listening to my music. Voice command will not work when I go for run when my running app and music app is playing. The phone is put in a running pack around my waist and Voice command will not work. . I should just be able to ask it to do something and it won't. Voice command comes on and goes off by itself. What is the sense of having it if it works when it wants to. Also. Earbud bands are too short. Falls off all the time.

Plenty of features, but the optimization is horrible. Crashes are guaranteed if the app is not immediatly open on your device. Has also cause other apps outside of it to crash and horribly lags my device, rendering all of the features (which are very useful) to be essentially unusable outside of 5 minutes. Edit Nov. 2022: They have made some improvements the functionality of the app. It still feels as though it uses a lot more resources than it needs to but does not crash constantly anymore.

Fails to connect most of the time. I can be actively listening to audio, and the app is so poorly written that it cannot connect to the earbuds. Also, I would love to customize the connect message. If I'm switching to the earbuds from another device, I don't want to wait the 5-10 seconds for the voice to give me all those details. I just want a short beep. Annoying to have to ask someone to repeat themselves because you're being told battery level and keep aware status.

The app does what I need it to, but I feel it could be made better with minimal effort. For one, I'd like my preference for ambiant and noise cancelling modes to be saved, so I don't have to manually turn it on every time. Also, I'd like an option to disable the earbud's touch controls (or button controls, depending on earbud model).

App worked perfectly fine on my old phone model, then they randomly updated the thing and all of a sudden it is not compatible with my device. So I upgraded to a newer model phone and, wouldn't you know, it still isn't compatible with my device. Don't bother with their products unless you are a latest product chaser, because I guess legacy support doesn't matter to anyone in the cell phone industry anymore. The earbuds I purchased work at least, but it would have been nice if I could have used the app that was loudly advertised on the box of the earbuds to actually use them to their fullest potential. Leaving this here until they update it to work with older phones again.

The earbuds are amazing. The app is amazingly dismal. The app was somewhat unresponsive and difficult to use a year or so ago. Recently, there was an update and voice control was added... or at least that's what it said. Mostly, it just cycles on and off on a whim, preventing you from even seeing the battery level as it disconnects itself before the status pops up. Do better please.

The app is handy because the user guide can be accessed there and you can experiment with the eq modes, ambient modes, etc. It's user friendly and pretty easy to understand. However, if you open the app and connect your device (I have Indy ANC), it tends to create a 1-2 second delay on your audio, which is very noticeable and annoying when trying to watch TV or videos on your phone. If you disconnect and reconnect your buds it fixes the issue, unless you open the app again.

(Using this with Crusher Evo.) Rather basic functionality, it'd really be nice if there was a proper graphic equalizer. As is, there's personalized audio, which I haven't tried out yet. There's options to find the headphone if you've misplaced it and to reset it. And then there's modes for music, movies and podcasts. I HIGHLY recommend movie mode, even for music, at least if you like vocals. It brings them out so they don't get lost in the heavy bass so much with the slider up.

Won't connect to Skullcandy device. Recognizes it. Will not connect. Will not pair. This industry-wide failure is easily the most frustrating technology in the modern world. Something so simple. Bluetooth + Device = Connected. Paired. And no matter what the brand. The cost. The proximity. Inconsistent signal. Failure to connect. And this is why people are moving back to being wired. Freaking ridiculous.

You should be able to control the Bluetooth earbuds from the app but instead it's really just a manual of how to use it. Additionally, it's incredibly frustrating that you have to turn on location and turn on and connect the Bluetooth headphones to your phone in order to just view the manual. This should be available without having to connect.

Using Indy Evo. When I first got the buds & installed the app, it worked totally fine. I really liked having it. Suddenly it is having connection issues & I can no longer use the app. I can still use the buds, & they are great. Using the app made some features easier, so it's a total bummer that I cannot use it now. Hopefully an update comes out that fixes the issue.

Alright, this app works perfectly. Everything it says that it will do, it does. Except for one thing. My grind fuel wont stay connected to the app. It connects for maybe five minutes before it just disconnects. I want to stay connected so that I can use the voice commands but it's doable without. I can live without it and it might just be a problem with my off brand android but if this problem could be fixed it would be greatly appreciated. Love all Skullcandy products. They never cease to amaze

I wanted to like this app. I used it for a short time then forgot about it. The app appears to be incompatible with devices after Android 12 due to a Bluetooth update, since it will no longer connect to my Crusher Evos and I have no access to the audio features. The headphones are excellent otherwise, so I hope with the next update this issue is fixed.

I have Skullcandy Mods and it's pretty frustrating that some basic functions like Stay Aware are locked to the app. If I pull one earbud out, it refuses to turn on Stay Aware because the app needs both earbuds to be paired to function? That makes no sense. I've had other wireless headphones before, Beats, and they work fine without the app. This makes me think there's something bad about this app for it to make us so reliant on it. It's supposed to be a bonus, not a crutch.

Hey SKULLCANDY!! Since the last update, the app NO LONGER connects to my Push Active earbuds. FIX WHATEVER YOU BROKE!!! Using a Samsung Galaxy 23 with all the most recent software updates. I have used Skullcandy products for 12 years now and the sound quality is excellent. I do not want to switch products because of your poor app functions.
