Love the content, HATE the app. There is no next podcast button. Just +30sec It is incredibly slow. For podcast you always have to click show unplayed. Why isn't it showing unplayed by default. It is very slow. It sometimes forgets where you are. If you pause it by clicking your earbuds button, you cannot unpause it after ~10 minutes but you have to restart the app. Which is supidly slow. Then you have to prey if it remembers where you where. Double clicking to go to the next podcast dsnt

This gotta be the worst Podcast app that I've ever used. No Android auto in 2022, download functionality is just broken, no RSS feeds, no way to show the library after opening the app, chromecast doesn't work for audiobooks, no chapters, resume functionality is buggy for audiobooks, outrageous data usage, a UI that's designed to advertise a "hitlist" of podcast that I don't want to listen to and a whole tab of "shorts" that I just want to disappear. All around, terrible.

I do like the content available on the app and the basic look and feel is good. However there are a lot of issues like podcasts taking a long time to load before playing, the app taking a long time to load upon start up, malfunctioning queue and the app not staying active in the background when on pause for more than a few minutes. Also I'm really missing the ability to skip 15-30 seconds within a podcast using headphone controls like on Spotify. Now it skips to the next podcasts, not great.

A few QOL things that are really annoying - using the queue is unintuitive, since things get randomly deleted. - scrolling through a long list of episodes is annoying and not fluid. - you can't configurate the next button to skip parts of a podcast or a whole episode. - sometimes it randomly crashes and forgets where you were. Content is mostly great, but stopped listening to some podcasts here because of these annoyances.

It's just a bad app. Adding to a queue is not intuitive and it doesn't matter how many times you tick played - stuff will start from nowhere again and again. It's bad at remembering where you left, it doesn't start at the most logical place: your library. Sometimes the queue is accessible, sometimes you can't even find the button for it.

App itself is sometimes very buggy and will not load certain pages. Also it is not possible to add your own custom RSS feeds which makes it impossible to only use podimo as your go-to allround podcast app. Finally, listening on computer is not possible which means I always need my phone or laptop to listen to podcasts... The only reason I use podimo is because some of the podcasts I listen to are behind the podimo paywall...

Content is good (assumable since they bought so many exclusives) but the app is pretty meh. UI is not intuitive (try finding new episodes for your shows! Should def be on the first page you open). Google Cast is bad at reconnecting once the connection is lost, there is no Cast volume control, I've been logged out of the app on multiple occassions. Free months are nice, but definitely not "monthly-payment-worthy" yet.

Generally a good podcast app with some room for improvement. I wish the front page and recommendations would favor new episodes from followed podcasts. It always seems like I have to search for podcasts I've followed or listen to regularly. Moreover the synchronization of how far you are into an episode when switching between the app and the browser version doesn't work very well.

Fix your data usage!! No feature to import my podcasts from other apps. Hard to start using this app for the Experienced podcast listner. No android auto app. Also, when I open the app I want to see the new episodes of my subscribed shows. The podcast discovery feature is nice, but I want my subscribed shows first, not shows I don't know. Discovery is way to much in my face all the time.

It's not bad, but going from one episode to the next seems to be an inconsistent experience. Above all, while finishing an episode at the end of your queue, the app doesn't start playing something else, such as episodes which are unlistened in the shows I follow. Another tip: allow chapters in shows like YouTube please. Signposting in shows is so commonplace, might as well use it (or at least let the creators add the chapter timestamps)

Podimo service seems fine, but the app just annoys me to bits, I find the interface unintuative and some notification bubbles won't disappear for unclear reasons. The interface for Android auto has been stuck for me, not updating the podcasts I follow nor updating the episodes for the podcasts I can see. (Seems like it's been this way since week 45, 2023) Overall I just use this app because some of the podcasts I like to listen to are only available through Podimo, otherwise I would switch...

The app certainly has potential. I like that the UI is simple. Everything would have been fine, except that there are major problems with the most basic functions. Some of the major problems: - search functionality is not able to find a podcast episode by title, even if title is copied exactly. - often, older episodes from podcasts fail to load. - it is not possible to scroll through the list of podcasts with many episodes. When you scroll, it just load about 20 and then makes you wait

As of today, 3/22/24, podimo has stopped working for good. In the past, it has been overall a bad app, which fails to provide any kind of enjoyable experience. It has continously crashed/lagged, however today was the worst. I deleted the app and downloaded it again. Once I opened, it had logged me out and there was no login button. I chose to press "continue with email", and it deleted my acc, along my saved eps and pods I followed. It's causing great amounts of stress. Please give my acc back:(

Very unintuitive UI and overall an annoying app to use compared to more established ones. Too bad some podcasts can't be found anywhere else.

Great content, horrible app. Impossible to discover new content. Content I've already rated negatively keep showing up as my top suggestions, and are presented on screen filling tiles. It seems impossible to customise anything. Not intuitive at all!

This app is good for a free version! no sign in required and remembers what the last podcast was played. Adds are a little too much.

How to disable autoplay of the random next podcast after finishing the last episode of the podcast I listened to? I'm not interested in those + I'm on limited mobile data and the suggested show on autoplay has not been downloaded for offline use. When you are connected to a wifi connection but there is no active internet, the app takes ages to load. Just want to listen to my offline episodes.

Exceptionally terrible app. I am seriously considering cancelling my subscription because of this app. Playing works (usually but not always), but apart from that nothing works. I can't force close it to fix issues and the general layout is terrible. Queue never works. Switiching from wifi to mobile data always leads to issues etc. etc. etc....

Really buggy unclear and unlogical navigation and experience. Play buttons that don't work. Search that brings no results on exact typed queries. The only use for this app is podcasts they stole from Spotify Stuff doesn't load well. The queue works unlogical. It's way overpriced now aswell. Very sad and bad development for the world of podcasts.

Forced to use the app because of certain podcasts. Terrible app. Very messy, hard to find the actual podcasts you follow, no way to listen to podcasts from the beginning, you need to manually queue up one and one episode. Only focused on "latest episode" and podcasts you're not following. Next and previous buttons skip the whole episode rather than jumping back and forth to catch stuff you missed. Very annoying.
