It should be common sense that a music player isn't something you should have to pay for or watch ads to use. These awesome people understand that and have made a sleek looking and intuitive player with all the simple features and options we've come to expect from these apps. No catch, just catchy tunes. 5/5, cheers and thanks for making this!

Was great until they changed the UI. I used to use this app everyday. But ever since they updated the UI the app crashes when i play a song. Even after all of these bug fixes, It still crashes. I also hate that they removed albums UI. Because that is what i always used to go through my music was by albums. So now i really cannot recommend the app because i cannot even use it at this point because it crashes. And because they removed the albums section. Will update the review when it works.

Just bought the Pro version bc I liked it enough as a replacement following the retirement of the Play Music app. Really appreciated there were no ads in the free version. What I would love is a search feature in the top icon bar. Currently, search is hidden in the 3-dots. Most of the time, given the quantity of music on my phone, I don't scroll but search what I want. The feature itself is present, but hidden. It'd be wonderful to move it up front.

Have had the paid version for a couple years after using the free version for about a year. Simple and to the point, well organized app. Does a fair job of shuffling, can't handle several hundred song files at once, but I could not find an app that did this well and certainly not as well as this one. Only wishlist item is that one could search by genre in order to create playlists. That's it. No regrets!!!

Ever since Google went over to the horrible YouTube music app I have been searching for a replacement app. Time and time again I come across music players that do nothing but bombards you with ads. I finally came across this one and other than the rare upgrade to pro pop up there are absolutely no ads! Been using it for 2 months now and was completely satisfied with it that I decided to go ahead and purchase the pro to support the app! Thank you for sticking to your word and not using ads!

So far since I installed this player has unequivocally been a godsend. I really like the options and the menu selections in the short menus that you can get to to make it easy to add into playlists. So far I've had no glitches such as intermediate playing without launching the app or going back into the app to pick up where I left off only to find out it was reset and I have to rescan for music. I'm giving some serious thought to making the investment in the professional version great app

Worked for a few weeks, and now it won't. Every time I try to open the app, it just flashes a white screen for a split second and closes. Yes, I tried restarting the phone and checking the settings. When it did work, it was okay. If there is a song on your playlist it can't play (for whatever reason), it would simply stop (instead of, say, skipping to the next song in the playlist). Which was frustrating when I couldn't stop was I was doing to mess with the phone (driving, showering, etc.). Oh well, time to look for another app. Response: Pixel 3a XL.

I like being able to scroll down while the song is playing to see what's next. I like that hitting the back button starts the song from the beginning instead of the previous song. I don't like that it changed some of the album art. I've looked & looked for a way to edit & change album art but it's not available. That should be a automatic feature. Annoying, it would've been rated higher

So far so good, simple and easy...installed the app and I'm accessing, playing and shuffling my library without issue. Update - really annoying bug - adding songs to a play list does not work most of the time. the app will behave as though the song was added but when you go to the Playlist it has not been updated. If you create play lists this could be a deal breaker. Also, no place in the app to report issues so here we are...

Best free player so far to replace Google Music app. Not sure why phones dont come with a built in player anymore but this one works well so far. And theres NO ads in it. It seems that it works well offline as some 3rd party players freak out when not connected to internet. The only thing i would like to see is the ability to add album artwork to ones i dont have from pictures in my phone. Or have something similar to iTunes where it finds artwork for you (but thats kind of complex to develop).

I used to really like this app. Super simple to use, just what I wanted. Now the way shuffle works is a complete pain. Why can't I just toggle between shuffle play and regular? Even with the settings set to not remember shuffle, switching is awkward at best. Can't we just have a button on the widget? I'm a pro user but I'm seriously considering switching apps.

It has a clean UI, and no ads. Samsung music has added ads to their default music player which I refuse to tolerate. The only thing I dislike is the bottom bar. Because of the settings menu on it, along with the current song, it takes up too much of the screen. I think, if you removed that, or hide it until the user wanted to access it, while keeping the song playing, it would be pretty much perfect. Thank you, I hope you have a lovely day.

Works. Plays well like old Samsung app. Downside I don't see media controller on lockscreen and widget doesn't update with name or play/pause state. I could not help but notice album backgrounds being loaded, so that means it is using data?? Update: added features above. So now it's great. The update crashes when I try to open old way but opening the new app on list works. UI has changed and seems like a step backwards.

Minimal ads, perfectly functional. So many other music apps have gotten greedy and suddenly added a ton of ads to their services. This one only has one self-promoting ad when you open the app, and that's it. Only downside I've found so far is that when you exit out of the app and go back to it, it will have refreshed and gone back to the top of your playlist. Not dysfunctional, just a little annoying.

Starting with the negatives.. The app has several issues that need to be addressed. The name of your music doesn't change, even when you rename the music file itself. This is annoying when you download files or make a mistake naming the song because you can't even change it. There are also other issues such as broken playlists, tag edit, and scan media. This review gets an extra star for having good visuals, but I must switch to another player due to the lack of support.

Update failed to fix app shutting down after playing a track. Also, new UI is ugly. Yeah, sorry boss, I'm out. Nice try. Gonna keep searching. Unistalled. ✌🏾 Now app no longer plays songs straight through. It shuts off while playing track and user has to reopen app to restart track. Hmm...not a good look. 😒 Thanks for reply. I'll hold out for the update. Don't wanna unistall the app, I like the UI. Hopefully, update corrects the problem.

There are no words to describe how amazing this music player is. No ads whatsoever, completed offline. Never have to move any new downloaded songs to the music player, it does that automatically. The only real "ad" is the pro version option which pops up every time you open the player, but it won't get in the way of your music at all and it's a 3 dollar one time payment so might as well just buy it and have the new features.

Nice app, like the design, does what it says, and actually has no ads. But, I cant browse files using my built in file browser, and listen to files, using my built in audio software, without the app opening and asking me to buy premium to unlock this feature. Because of the intrusiveness, and because instead of playing files I could before I installed the app (now when i click on them, it opens the app and does nothing) I'm uninstalling.

This app plays albums without adding breaks between songs. Many of my old rock albums are seamless, this app renders them as they were recorded. It may not matter if you shuffle songs into a mashup, but it's vital to me to relive glory. Enjoying album Meddle right at this moment, don't know where one song ends and the other begins. As it should be, but most other apps fail in that regard. This is top notch.

This is a very good music player! If I could request, it would be the ability to sort the albums within an artists' profile. Right now, it's sorted by album, but in a random order, kinda by year but not always. I'd like to be able to choose how to sort it, or at least for it to be sorted alphabetically by default so it's easier to search through. If the app gets that feature, though, this is definitely a five-star app.
