Edit Jan 13: I've taken a few months off from this game because it was crashing on startup. I'm pleased to say the game is fixed and I am SO HAPPY!! I love Knittens!!! It's your standard match-3 format, but with knitting and kittens, lol. Plus there's a fashion competition aspect to it, which I think is a super cute, fun addition. Thank you, devs, for fixing my favorite game!!

This is a pretty interesting meta game. Like, how many times does it take of it "coincidentally" screwing you over in amazingly improbable ways for you to realize this "game" is playing you? As a slot machine, it's overcomplicated, with extremely tight payouts; as a puzzle it's a lie. As a kitten dressing simulator, it's.. probably ok I guess.

This game cheats. Big time. After a certain number of levels, the game makes it IMPOSSIBLE to win. Eventually (after 20-30 tries), it lets you win one level, but the next is even more impossible. Clearly, it's trying to get you to use all your gems & coins, then spend real money to make progress. In the beginning, it's a decent match-3 game, and I love dressing my cat, but I'm sick of the rotten odds.

Like Christine Wedge I have also been enjoying this game since the early beta testing days. I was around level 700 and had accumulated a lovely wardrobe for my kitties by both winnings and added over time what I consider a significant amount of money with purchases. I don't find the levels to be any more difficult than before (hard is Kings Blossom Blast). I don't like that when I get a new kitty that I cannot change which kitty I want to play with or enter in fashion week.

Re-knitting option page and stuck village! Game loads but automatically opens the re-knit page and is frozen! So the ^ problem has been resolved, tyvm, my new ? is, where did the many background options go to?? The ones showing the worlds we reach as we progress, are still there, missing ones R different solids or prints of something, just more to choose from for our kitty to be in! 5 or 8 of them R gone! Plz put 'em back! Tyvm A++ app otherwise Fun dressing and saving all of my creations!

The game is cute for all cat lovers and the one best thing is that it is unlimited lives and you knit you avatar cat clothes . Does not sound right when it is very hot out side . It could be a way to get ready for winter in the the gaming world... The puzzles are challenging and fun ....I don't think you need a Netflix account to download it. And this is a real review from a real person....

The game was good until you got to around level 120, and then it stated that the software designers needed to update the game app, and fix existing bug issues. Now game is crashing constantly. Too bad for knittens! The game was cute & enjoyable until it started having issues. It is so sad, and disappointing. 😞🐈 Please fix Knittens, and I will give you a better rating.

The app has been acting up for days. I've been unable to play. It loads and loads forever. Gathering clothes pins, finding yarn. I have waited and waited for over 5 minutes, trying really really hard to be patient come on telling myself any moment now I will finish loading. Well for several days it just never seems to successfully load. No way to update. And no idea what's happening. Just wish I could play. Game itself is good. Probably not as good as toon blast though.

So, this game is fun. Netflix's involvement means there's no ads and no microtransactions. That's great, except the game was clearly designed with microtransactions in mind and the later difficultyis so hard it makes the game unplayable. I'm on level 1,239 and I have attempted to beat it roughly 200 times. You've made some of these levels so hard without buying extra turns (not possible with the skimpy amount of free gems) that I'm going to have to give the game up. Fix it. Please.

It's a cute game that I mostly enjoy. The one part I absolutely despise is the consecutive wins challenges. It is almost impossible to get more than 2 consecutive wins above level 400 without spending gems. I absolutely love that there is no purchase push but having the option to buy gems or other items might be nice. Just don't constantly push for the buy in.

Update: the bug used to launch the game if you tried for a few minutes but now I can't get it at all. The bug has been here for about a month so I doubt the devs will fix it. I like the game though it's a standard match 3. The fun more comes from dressing up your kitten as the levels and sounds are the same as other games. However, it's been crashing at the login page for about a week so... Doesn't matter if this game was the best thing in the app store since you can't play it right now.

I had a 180+ day streak until last month when the bug problem kept crashing the game for a couple weeks. Just over a week later, the starting crash is back and I am about tired of it. This has been my favorite match three for a while. Fashion week and the other events are fun and the levels are a bit challenging but not frustratingly hard.

Ive very addicted to the game but there are major bugs in it. The game itself it glitchy. For example, progress made towards daily challenges dont register. Often times I have achieved the challenge and it just doesnt count as of Ive made no progress. The higher levels are hard to achieve in the moves given. Ive had to "purchase" up to 10 -15 moves, that 500-750 diamonds, to complete a level.

Fun variation on samegame. I like the trustworthy nature of the developer, the cute graphics, and the low stakes comforting puzzles. One gripe: the devs used some monetization tricks that are unnecessary, and are frusterating, in a game without in-app purchases. The multiple layers of clicks to perform some actions could be replaced by standardizing button placement across screens so that "replay level" was always in one spot, "quit" always in another, etc. Overall fun game.

Update 10/20/23 I think the developers do not want to fix the issue. I called a week ago and they said keep checking to see if it works but don't call back, haha. It still doesn't work. Update 10/8/23 Crashes at login and I can no longer play. The error message says it's a bug the developers should fix and to then update the game with the fix to continue playing. Sad. I liked this game. Fun and cute game. I enjoy playing it while waiting for appointments, etc. Cute kitties and themes.

Great, for the most part. There's a somewhat regular problem where the game will go to award an item of clothing the player has "knitted," but the game gets stuck. It shows the item as it was before knitting. Then, it won't allow the player to reknit the item or even collect the item as an award. The whole issue is very annoying when someone wants to play, but can't until the game day resets. It may be only happening at the Forever Levels. Better than Candy Crush any day!

The game play gets to the point that you're just waiting for the game to let you win. It becomes so difficult to win a single game as it clearly keeps blocking you when the tiles should work in your favor and instead do something else. That's no fun. Boooo.. If you complete all the worlds, it gets to the point that you can't ever win at all. If you play one level enough times you will start to see the programmed pattern to make you lose. That sucks. No fun.
