It's true when people say "Less is more". Because this game is so delightfully simple with its colour scheme and easy-to-grasp mechanics, while keeping the main thing from the Hitman franchise in clear sight at all times. Great game! Puzzling at times but equally rewarding when you figure it out!

Fantastic. In my opinion, the sounds (music and sound effects), the artwork, the variety of enemy types and items, the number of levels and level packs, and so many more features combine to make this incredible masterpiece. You can definitely see the love that was put into the creation, what a wonderful experience it was to play this and I am upset that it is over. If you have not tried this, I recommend you consider it. I have not played the standard hitman series, but I reckon I now should.

This is a solid strategy game which retains the spirit of its AAA brethren. My only gripe withi it is the lack of a story of any kind. Even some text only flavor descriptions of your targets would have been appreciated. Otherwise, the game is fun, if a bit repetitive; though at 91 levels, it doesn't really overstay its welcome. The achievements are all pretty easy too, though some are a bit grindy. Although I consulted a walkthrough for some of the later levels, it is entirely optional.

I have mixed feelings about this game. I really like the concept of this 'GO' type of games. It's simple and intuitive....However the glitches really bug me especially when during the transition of camera's perspective! Don't get me wrong, the graphic is amazing, but the glitches really put me off... I decided to uninstall the game.... :(

Worth the money. It has almost nothing to do with the actual hitman game but this doesn't make this game bad. Levels are very challenging and really makes you think about how to complete the challenges. The only issue is that you can never complete all challenges in a perfect run, sometimes you can but for most levels there is a perfect run for each challenge individually.

Never reviewed an app as far as I can remember, but had to say that this is my favourite strategy game and has gripped me to the point of complete game addiction. I love it as a brain teaser/problem solving exercise and the beauty of it, is that even once completed, the solutions are so easily forgotten that it is replayable. Please continue to add levels. 100% worth £5.99. Hours of fun.

Really good take on a mobile hitman game, perfect for picking up and leaving as all mobile games should be, perfect difficulty curve teaching you the basics and then dropping you in on a bit of a thinker. Great puzzle game even you if you're not into the hitman games, Highly recommend.. possibly do a lite version with less levels to give people a chance to see what it's like?

I'd heard this was good but it's better then I thought it would be. Looks simple but has a nice progression that introduces more complex puzzles a system at a time so you don't get overwhelmed. It also looks great both in terms of fidelity and presentation, sound design is suitably board gamey(?) and the music is sparse but plays it's part. Excellent 👍

No in-app purchases that are basically necessary (you can buy hints but... it's a strategy game. So of course you can get by just don't without buying hints.), tons of levels and fantastic gameplay. I just wish they would add even more levels or release a sequel. Oh and two annoying UI things: There is no counter telling you which turn it is. Which makes extra goals with maximum turns annoying. Also, it's a pain to figure out which levels you haven't 100%ed yet.

Possibly the best in the Go! series, Hitman is a brainy puzzle game in which you move your character like a chess piece, trying to traverse a level withoit being seen by enemies. The graphics are very impressive, with strong art & effects. Due to its nature, the game is perfect in short bursts. Most importantly, the Hitman concepts are very cleverly translated into the Go! design, making for a fun, consistent & intelligent game. Strongly recommended as one of the better games on a mobile phone!!

Yay: Excellent and gorgeous setup, making it look and feel like you're playing an actual board game. Really makes you think ahead to solve the puzzles. Great way to pass the time. Nay: Nothing much, except maybe that this will most likely not become a real board game you can touch, feel, and own. Final Say: A great, quirky addition to the Hitman series. Worth the price you pay for it, whether you're a fan of the series, or just puzzle games in general.

Really enjoyed this - never played any of the actual Hitman games and knew going in that this wouldn't be representative of them - I just enjoyed it for what it is. Each level is a puzzle to solve and although they're challenging they're challenging whilst also feeling solvable. I don't imagine they'll be adding more levels which is a shame as I could easily play more of this!

Good logic puzzles, simple gameplay, lots of levels. On top of all this, I got it for free! On the negative side, this game might have the poorest camera angles I've ever seen for a game. Many times it is not only an annoyance but a definite hindrance, as parts of the game field you must see to plan your route are off camera - and forget about changing the angle...

I'll be honest, a twist on the classic Hitman games like this I was not expecting to be so well done. There are several different mechanics that make each type of level unique, and I really love that. Some people have said the camera is restrictive, you can actually hold two fingers on either side of the screen to zoom out (like with a picture or Google Maps). There were microtransactions for this before, but they were removed, which I have to give high praise to Square Enix for. Great job.

Hitman Go is an amazing app. For only 99 cents, you get tons of challenging, almost impossible levels that can be completed in multiple ways. This is a board game version of hitman, so don't expect to shoot people and hide bodies. The visuals are very appealing and I often found myself pondering on how to complete a certain objective on a level.

Lara Croft GO is way better. This game has no animations or story to accompany the puzzles, so you literally just move a Hitman piece around on a digital board game, level after level. The camera mostly stays overhead. The puzzles are fascinating, with snipers, teleportation, etc., though I have to say I enjoyed the aesthetic of Lara Croft GO a lot more and the relics you can find. The difficulty seems the same in both games. Anyway, this game isn't bad, but not as good as Lara Croft GO.

Still as fun as it was back in the Fall of 2015 when I first played it. Just wondering why games like this are abandoned even though the series is still popular. More content here would probably rejuvenate the games existence. Although it is fun, there's one perfect way to do each level meaning it's mostly all trial & error. Some of the best sound design ever in a mobile game though. They did Tomb Raider & Deus Ex also so I wish they would do a Thief version since that's one of their games too.

Got this game on sale for $0.99, but I feel that it would have been worth it even at the full asking price. The mechanics are very simple, but the puzzles are complex enough to keep you interested. And for the completionists out there - each level has different challenges, such as no kills, kill everyone, maximum number of moves, retrieve a briefcase to bring to the the exit, etc.

Hitman go has a stylish appearance that compromises readability. The camera plays against you, constantly moving in too close and limiting visibility of the board, if you zoom out is hard to read the elements of the board. The controls are not good either. Tomb raider fixed the camera angle and allowed you to drag anywhere on the screen to move, here we have to drag the character, already uncomfortable as it is the camera shifting all the time doesn't help. Good puzzles though.

Hitman Go is the kind of game that, if not for the mobile space, you would only see on the NES or ancient PC's. It is a game that takes the core mechanics of the Hitman games- stealth, dodging guards, assassinations, and disguises- and distills them into their purest, most abstract form. Adding to its old school appeal is the fact that there's no story, no tutorial, no text whatsoever! Plus, the board game aesthetic is super creative, and really adds to the feeling of the game being a miniaturized abstraction of Agent 47's assassin hijinks. Intuitive pick up and play controls and great puzzle design make this one of the best games on mobile.
