Awesome app that I literally used to teach myself guitar last 4-5 years. No excessive ads. Stable. Large library. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is it's lack of certain older tunes (prewar) but it's user libraries and many people want popular music in lieu of original 1920's versions and I'm a finger-picker so tabs are great. Many advanced tabs and chords. I have never uploaded gp files so maybe my rating will change if I ever do. As for the app, download it!

I love this app! It has the smoothest scrolling of any GPX reader I have found yet. The library of tabs to choose from is huge! The only thing I wish it had was rhythmic note stems in the tablature when reading the GPX files. I usually turn off the sheet music to make more room on my screen, but without the sheet music there is no indication in the tablature of what the rhythm duration should be. Is there any way that you can add rhythmic stems to the tablature only view in the GPX reader?

GuitarTab is fantastic!! I've only recently started using it as my go-to source for chords and lyrics. I haven't yet come across a song I was searching for where GT yielded no results; several with more than one version available. I really dig it, and hopefully you will as well! (GT dev team, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to thank someone publicly for such an accurate and exceptional review and rating!)

It's pretty decent... It gives you all kinds of learning formats like tablature, chords, play along with midi...and more... I wish they had apps like this when I started playing guitar... It makes the learning process way easier... It's a great tool for the experienced guitarist as well... I give it 2 thumbs up... I'd give it more thumbs if I had them.

I downloaded several apps to help me learn guitar over the past year and a half, and more the past few days. This quickly became my go to app. I love everything about it, and my favorite part is that you can print the tabs from a pdf if you buy the app. I bought it after having it only a few days. They show chords, play the song, and pretty much everything I have wanted in a guitar learning app.

I've had guitar tabs installed for years now...still the best go-to source for me...whether it's for a chord reference or a passage I'm stumped on...and dont feel like watching YouTube vids...or in some cases it's interesting to see some posters interpretations of songs that fall short...cuz not everyone is a virtuoso, least of all, me...I've played since 1981...and some ways I'm a far better player, and in some ways, worse...but guitar tabs is a factor in the gains I've gotten as a player

Have been playing 30+ years, I have two bookcases full of tab books. Then the internet happened and I found this program years ago. Fantastic catalog, accuracy can be a little off sometimes, but the basic frameworks are there and can be a huge hint in pulling together the tune. Love this program. Highly recommend to anyone starting out.

Great song learning and backing track app! Has a built in player for guitar pro tabs. Allows you to upload GP files if their browser cannot find what you're looking for (has had like 90% of all songs I have searched). You can mute individual tracks and then play a live version with drums/bass, etc (makes for great backing tracks). All features unlock for about $3. They let you try it 1st by watching an ad. This is the first app I have ever rated on Google play. Great work from the developers!

Outstanding free version of the app. Reasonably accurate song versions that are often more extensive and more accurate than actual guitar pro tabs that I get from an online guitar course I pay for. So good in fact that I paid for the full version even though I didn't need any of the things that gives me, just to support the people who created this and to remove ads, which weren't really pervasive compared to most of the free junk in the play store. Awesome app whether you pay for it or not.

Decent app. Large database of songs, easy filtering for just chords or just tabs, and the full version which isn't that expensive has some cool bells and whistles Still, formatting and submitting songs is a pain, and the navigation is not the best. The coolest part is the auto scroll, but it would be nice to customize per song or at least be able to change it in the settings

I like the fact that, for most songs, there are several options for chords. I'm a "tab guy" and far from a "musician". There are usually several options for the chords to play..... There's even usually the full on sheet music that is completely useless for a hack like me..... But I'm sure it's beneficial for a legit musician.... Short story, this app seems useful for just about anyone that owns a guitar regardless of skill level.

Awesome & Useful!! Convenient and Quick with resources, it also has a few tools implemented into the app. The app is a great and has tools for beginners to intermediate players also including guitar pro tabs! Not all tabs are accurate but there are literally hundreds of thousands of tabs to choose from you cant go wrong! And as far as ad's go i haven't had a problem here besides the usual banner at the bottom. It's a must have for Guitarist on all levels who are looking to play or just noodle.

Great viewer. Doesn't always handle the "playing" quite right. If there are volume changes on an instrument, it seems to just mute that instrument at the volume change. Occasionally the staff suddenly switches to a super small view then changes back to something legible. Not sure what's going on there. All in all if you want to view some tab on the go, it works for that.

This is a wonderful app for beginners and intermediate players.. it gives you the opportunity to learn songs you forgot or always wanted to learn. For songs that have multiple guitar parts , in the guitar pro renditions, you can choose from the pull down list , which part you want..my only suggestion would be to adjust the guitar sounds closer to the mark. Other than that , I'll keep rocking. Thank you..

I like using this app to play piano. There's almost always a 'chords' page available for a given song. One tiny problem is that sometimes chord letters extended off-screen, forcing me to resize until it's too tiny for comfort. I have gotten a phone with a bigger screen, so I'm sure that won't be an issue. Plus, transferring from my old phone to my new phone happened instantly once I set up account. I think it's well worth the money to get the 'pro' version, if just to get rid of ads.

The interface was fairly good, and I especially loved the fact that I could export songs to pdf. However, there were quite a few ads, enough to be bothersome. The search feature was also confusing and hard to use. Searching for Yesterday (by the Beatles, of course) took quite a while to get to the results I was looking for. That said, this is one of the best options there is at the moment.

This is the best free tabs app that I could find, and I love how you only pay one time to upgrade, rather than a recurring monthly payment. Because no one needs more monthly bills. Great selection of tabs, all that I have found and favorited are accurate. Great features in the upgraded version too.
