Been following this for years. Its finally really functional. The right click is done with two fingers. First one then the second. Also try double tap and hold. Its got actual game in it and u can add the actual HoMM 2 files to complete it all. Been a great time killer that isnt Social media or other trash apps.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to play heroes 2 on a cellphone. I played heroes 4 when I was 11/12 years old, even prefering h4 I recognize that it doesn't work on cellphones, I feel satisfied with h2. Please fix the world map spells, some don't work. Is it possible to create maps in the future? Does h2 have map editor?

Works well but there is a bit of delay of hero movement after a command is issued. It seams url is not working, but if you have a copy of a game (gog works fine) just copy all files into apps data directory.

I hardly play games on my phone and I never review products on Google Play but THIS IS AWESOME!!! I played this game a bunch as a kid on the Pentium desktop computer. I cant believe its available on mobile now... and running so well!! Great job and thank you for bringing such a classic game to a modern platform!

Brings back the good old days. I love how well it is emulated on the phone and you are able to use touch controls or have a cursor on the screen to play. Brilliant. Many thanks for the effort put out into making this game available on hand held devices!

It's Heroes of Might and Magic 2 with a much easier that expected to use mouse on the screen. A few crash issues, but I've played through 4 or 5 of the included maps (a lot of user created ones available) and have had a great time!

Love the game, however, it lags on the note 8 and then freezes up and have to force close. Sometimes once every half hour, sometimes every 5 to 10 minutes. Then it doesnt remember the game settings either so it wastes time to set up your preferences each time

One of my all time favorite games growing up, I'm a bit disappointed I downloaded this a while ago it worked well after I got use to it, few crashes here and there but nothing major, but now I tried again and I can't get the files to load just a failed to connect, I was really looking forward to playing this again

One of my favourite classic games, but this Android port uses an ancient, discontinued open source implementation of the game engine (since then, others have picked up the project into a quite mature result). Furthermore, the Android app maintainer seems to have stopped pushing updates for both the Android wrapper and the game engine. I hope this project will be picked up soon again.

As of may 30 2020, essential files can't be downloaded. Down 2 stars. :( Works well if you got stylus like samsung note. There are still parts of the game that doesn't seem ported but overall, brings you back to the the time you played HOMM on windows 90ish OS. This is a gem, all thanks to the Gerhard Stein who made it happen!

Great port of a timeless classic! Install it on all of my devices! My only complaint is that the cd/opera music no longer works in the latest version which is a massive disappointment! As it's one of my favourite soundtracks of all time. The midi music is just cringey garbage and I can't bear to play it like that!

Thank you so much for this! This port is beautifully made and brought back so many memories. But here are the flaws I found: 1) the game doesn't save your settings changes. 2) the AI of enemy heroes is non-existent; removing all challenge from the game/campaign. 3) we need to control the cursor like a mouse but I understand that this is hard to reprogram for touch screens.

Disappointing so far. 1. Game freezes way too often. I can't even get one turn going before it freezes. I am using the latest android, s9, so don't blame it on the device. It is the app. 2. I understand that this is supposed to be a game that takes us down the memory lane, but mouse emulator and terrible graphics is not the way to do it. I am sure we can adopt the graphic with a few more pixels so that it doesn't hurt my eyes to look at them. We have touchscreen now. Why are you adopting a mouse emulator on a touch screen device? It is not easy to get used to.

Man! I am stoked having this game again, but a couple times I'm playing and click on a castle and it crashes for no reason. Have a Samsung A8 definitely fast enough, but a crying shame. It's so frustrating especially half way into the game. Great job on rebooting it. If anyone knows a fix let me know.

Wow! Bringing back some memories! Was my favorite PC game for so long! No problems with app. Only wish there were a few more standard maps, but there's plenty to keep me busy for awhile! Thank you for finally making this classic available for android!!

Great game, if you enjoyed Heroes of Might and Magic 2, this is worth playing for sure. One BIG flaw (the reason why I rated 4 stars and not 5) is the A.I.: the enemies are totally dumb, it's like playing always at the easiest difficulty even if you set it to the hardest. The devs should really focus on that to make this an amazing game. Good job though 👍🏻

On my device it is working just fine (Allview Viper i). At the begining, after reading here that it woun't start I also had the same impression. Closed it, start again, set controls as for tablet and that was all. Does anybody know the map "two kingdoms" and how to get a ship to reach the oponent's island? Great job and thanks for this game.

having problems with the mouse?? use a stylus! controls are great, 100% on my note 8. game looks and sounds great! nostalgic is an understatement, this is one of the greatest games ever made and is still quite entertaining to play. thinking about buying a Samsung tablet just to play this. cons: it is a bit buggy and crashes inconsistently. I've played this for hours every day in a week (it kinda took over my life there for a min) and it wasn't buggy at all. today, can't even get through a fight

I love this app,but...it's plagued with a number of bugs and issues that haven't been addressed in the 3 or 4 years I've been playing it. First is there's a number of spells that still don't work. Second some of the artwork still hasn't been updated. Third, there are times when save, then load that save and it'll crash the game. Fourth, it defaults to a very slow movement speed for both the enemy and the hero whenever you first load the game. Although none of these isues stop me from playing the game, I just think that if they fixed these problems, it would be a truly epic app!

I love this game, and to think a full port of this is on my phone and for free is amazing. It's also one of my top reasons I missed having an android when I had an iPhone for a short time. Well done sir. If you could do the same for homm3 without needing the separate files, like this one, I'd give it 6 stars against Google's internal star limitations. By whatever means.
