10/10 Would recommend! Really great when you want to listen to YouTube videos or music in the background, or of you're multitasking! I mostly use it for music, but I also like watching videos while I chat with friends! I wish you could remove the bubble in settings so it's just in your notifications bar though. Other than that, it's great! And the Ads are at moderate amount, only shows up when I open the app and it doesn't cause much lag! Fantastic! :D

Pretty good, I use it as a replacement to other YouTube minimizer that keeps autoplaying against my will. But the UI is a bit unintuitive, and I wish there was an option to make the floating circle disappear entirely. Moreover, you can't play songs in a playlist from any order, you have to choose the first one then pick the video you want through the video screen.

The app does allow to stream a yt-video in the background, but it won't play any playlist. When I click on any playlist, it only plays the first video from the list and stops afterwards. It does the same thing when i choose a specific video from the playlist, instead of playing the video I chose, it only plays the very first video from the playlist every time. :( I see a lot of potential in this app and hope the errors can be fixed. I'd give it five stars, if the promised features worked.

This is by far one of the best apps there are there, that allows you to simpli listen to some content from YouTube, whilst doing something else on your phone or whilst having it locked. Which is perfect! Just one observation - if I totally minimise it, there is no way to enter it (from the notification panel, for instance) in order to change the content played. I'd have to open it again. But it is a very small compromise for what it offers so I appreciate the builders for the tremendous work!

I like the idea that I can log in to my YT account, but I couldn't play anything from there! It says "En error occurred. Please try again later". And there's no shuffle button, also can't switch to another song. The best part of the app is the floating bubble! It's the smallest and the most convenient YouTube minimizer so far! UPD: got another error "Invalid response received" while it's actually playing music. Not showing anything tho, so I have to restart an app to choose next song

i've been using this app for a few months already and it's really good for listening to music or watching videos while doing something else at the same time, ads are surprisingly not annoying, they only pop out when you open the app but like i really need an update where you can play playlists instead of only one video! it's really boring when i have to listen to a certain song in a loop.

Not bad, but definitely they can improve at some points. For example I want to use the player like mx player. I have favourite playlist in youtube, but couldn't shuffle it nor start the songs from where I want to.

The app is pretty good, though I occasionally get this problem where the app just won't open a video when I tap on it. It seams to be 100% random when this happens and goes away after a while. The minimize window function is amazing and is why I prefer this app to the official YouTube app when it comes to multitasking.

Works like it should usually. As of a few days ago though it isn't playing the last few videos I added to my playlist on YouTube. Everything else from before a few days ago that was added to the playlist will play no problem, but the last few recently added will not. But if I search the videos themselves they will still play, just only won't play on the playlist. Issue needs to be fixed

This is a pretty good app for playing music over other apps. Most of the apps can't import playlists or play the music, but this app works for me without having to pay a dime. However, the only problem is that when you try to play a certain song from a playlist, then the playlist will start from the beginning instead of starting at the song you selected. Other than that, great app!

This is a pretty decent app. But only gets 3 stars for me because sometimes when I pick share to float tube from YouTube, the video plays, but will flash red and blue like if you are wearing 3D glasses over the video. Also sometimes the video will be playing then all of a sudden just stop and gets that cycling circle. Sometimes the video will start to malfunction with the view, like it will be all distorted and it takes a minute for the app to write itself to get normal viewing again.

i was kind of skeptical of this app before getting it but it works great. the ads aren't really an issue after you close out of the main app and just use the little bubble pop-up instead. i don't enjoy the random glitches when i open a new app though; it happens every time i launch an app that isn't this one. aside from that, this app is nearly perfect.

Edit: It's unusable for me/broken. Won't play videos from playlists, anymore, runs slow and now has a slew of other issues that make navigation difficult. Also cannot manage playlists. (Original review: ...) Needs to have the option to shuffle songs, a proper version where it plays every song on the playlist only once before repeating the playlist. FloatTube also occasionally just stops playing for no reason. Also, still have to use YT if you want to see the video description or comments. Meh

Great app! One feature I really enjoy is turning my phone's screen off and the Float Tube app continues to play my music, which most apps don't do this. However, please fix these: 1)fixing basic screen controls such as: a SAVE and CANCEL selection button for each page or selection, etc., 2)making and editing playlists are not always saved, i'll edit the title of a playlist but can't click CANCEL, SAVE, or DONE, to get out of that screen, 4)videos often get scrambled but audio still plays.

This is the only player that runs in the background. I dont mind the ad upon opening. However if one single ad fails to load, the entire app locks up. It is VERY FRUSTRATING. There isnt even an option to pay to shut the ads off. There apparently is a way to do it by clicking the gift icon..but it is wholly unresponsive. I am not happy with this product at all.

Remove the annoying launch ads! You can put as many ads as you want in it, but the ads that appear on launch are so annoying! They are 3 stage, unskippable ads that you have to sit through to wait for the skip button to appear so that you can go on to the next stage of the ad. It's infuriating. Don't even think about touching the screen, or it will close the app and send you to the play store. IM NOT INSTALLING THESE STUPID APPS IF THE ADS ARE THIS ANNOYING

Great app. Love using this if I can't find one of my favorite songs on Spotify. However, I do have two recommendations for an update: add a shuffle button for playlists, and give users the ability to pick whatever song they want out of their playlist. It's kind of frustrating to always be forced to have the first song play and onwards.

Used to tolerate the app. It still can't play anything from your Playlist It didn't have ads before. Now it has ads. I understand it needs to make revenue but the ads are pretty loud and uses the smallest close buttons. The buttons are timed. You need to wait for the first button to appear to go the next screen (not ad, next screen). Repeat one more time then you can close the add. Going thru 2-3 pages to close one single ad. I regret updating in 2019, it's gotten more and more annoying

This app used to work great. But at some point, it stopped working. The music stops & starts continuously like someone is hitting pause & play repeatedly, making the app unusable. You can temporarily alleviate this by hitting the settings gear icon, which will unfreeze the app for a few seconds. The app works normally as long as the screen remains on & the settings window is open, which defeats the purpose. App is updated & cache is cleared etc. Hopefully the devs can address & fix this.

Really good app, I see they've deleted my previously negative comment, relating to ads in actual videos. Currently you get an ad only when you start the application, which is acceptable, since they have to support themselves somehow. The team is working on fixing issues, and they've improved a lot. Works really well, compared to other apps of the same class. I also want to highlight their algorithm for similar music that you listen to is great, I found many bands that I like in that fashion
