Software support is not good. The app is now not usable. It contains a bug that disallows reading existing calc files. Moreover, no import option is available. I offered to fix the issue but the devs are not responding despite multiple reminders. Edit: I have paid version of this app.

ClacTape simply the best of all calculator apps. I have the pro version. It is a calculator and notes combined into one. I preserve my calculations for months and even yrs in the app itself. It is a must app in all my devices. Only today I discovered the wonderful feature of adding document pages by renaming them. I thank the developers from the depth of my heart for their very thoughtful creation. But there are some glitches like when you delete one calculation the others get deleted.

Was going to buy the "Pro" version this morning. Instead of opening the Play Store, it opened a pop-up window and asked for my Google password. That just struck me as odd. Every other app I've upgraded took me to the Play Store and completed the purchase there. I cancelled the purchase and did not give them my Google password. The free version of the app works fairly well for my purposes. I'm just not comfortable with this purchase process.

Pretty good app, WELL WORTH THE TINY COST to upgrade. Clunky that on thetext girls you can't use any punctuation that is used as arithmetic opperands without causing it to revert to number fields. Like - . / * That's not much Help but it's pretty simple to figure out. Cumbersome to finger type and edit but very handy to be able to notate entries. Not to mention direct print from phone, Save-As [page name] or PDF file. Saves having to build a whole spreadsheet for quick work.

This app meets all the expectations I had when I downloaded it. Therefore, 5 stars. The edits are easy, the scroll is ready and it has a tape. BUT NOW THAT I'VE USED IT FOR A WHILE, I WISH IT HAD ONE MORE FEATURE: I wish I could annotate the line items after I had made some calculations so I could recall what the entries and totals meant. When I'm comparing prices from several stores for example, it's ready to lose track of what group of numbers represented each store. Still, 5 stars.

This is exactly what I was looking for and there aren't many with a tape, if any others at all surprisingly. (because I am looking for one that is just like this but has a subtotal) I would give it five stars+ if it had subtotal. I can't understand why it doesn't have that. Works excellently. (PS... I have been using this for another 5 years!!! FANTASTIC)

A great app, especially with the margin note-taking ability, but it would be nice to be able to save separate tapes for simultaneously ongoing purposes. I currently use this app for my business and have to use a separate similar app for my personal things. Also, the margin notes are supposed to automatically turn grey, but sometimes bits and pieces of the margin notes randomly turn black as I'm typing (obviously a small bug, but it's annoying sometimes).

I really like having something that I can work with running adjustable calculations, it makes it very easy to work with numbers. and with adding notes to it. as soon as they came with the premium app I bought it without hesitation. granted it's not a scientific calculator but it's great for general math equations. and I also purchased their version for desktop computers. 2020 revised.. now that they've added higher math functions. It simply is the best.

Awesome app love it use it everyday. Would be nice to be able to change the colors a bit more, it is also as free which I love . Overall great app. Also would be nice if the keyboard didn't pop up every time you re open the app from a minimized window it's kinda annoying. It's the best app like this by far. Update app has gotten worse. I like to figure my bills a couple of months ahead I go through set everything up and for no reason the app erases everything I've done also agree with Steve B.

This app blows away any regular calculator app! Love that you can write beside your calculations. They only problem I have had is recalling saved calculations from within the app. I can see them but only the most recent one opens back up. I did save them in G Drive and 1 Drive also but it would be nice if I could open any one of my old calculations up and resume work on it later. Not sure if I am missing something or it just does not sure right. I doubt I am missing anything though because I am like a tech genius and can figure anything out usually. Maybe the dev can shed some light on this issue. About to use their Windows software we will see how that goes!

Originally, I gave this app 5 stars. If you have this app installed on both an android and on Windows 10 computer, and you transfer a file created on your PC to your android, the android no longer recognizes the file. I've attempted to contact tech support 3x. No response. The newest updates are installed on both devices. I'm now changing my rating to a 1. No response from support.

Great app. I use it in combination with Color Checklist. If I make a grocery list with prices in front of the name, I can copy-paste it into CalcTape, and it gives me the total and the names from the list. I can also make price adjustments after I paste it in. It's easier and more convenient than doing it in Google Sheets.

This is a very good calculator, with a particularly good tape (scratch pad) displaying, correcting, saving and sharing calculations. I'd give five stars except that the input can be a bit cumbersome sometimes popping me out of the app, which can be annoying. That aside, this has become my everyday calculator, the scratch-pad tally tape and its capabilities for adding notes being such a strong, useful feature. Well done.

This works so great for me. I've been trained to do 10 key (for those who don't know, using the keys without looking at them). However, without the tactile response of an old style 10 key calculator, I do make more mistakes on a phone. I can check my work here, and even print it out later if I wish. Just perfect!

One of the best calculators that mimic a tape calculator. I love the running total feature. Even for the free portion it works great for my working needs. I have gotten 2 other people to download it, so far. I work retail and counting money on the standard calculator app doesn't cut it for me. Definitely would recommend it to anyone that works retail or in any field that deals with money.

Great calc app. I am a Product Specialist with Ashley Homestore. Being able to program buttons is the best. We have the best promotions so I have programed the buttons with all the possible discounts. When working with customers I have to be able to show the same item with different discounts so with the programed buttons I can do this with just a few strokes. The tape is fantastic. Being able to show customers how I arrived at the total cost of the item is even more fantastic. Great App.

I am old and have to watch every $ down to the $ - have never found a calculater so friendly. This is the greatest available - for grocery shopping especially - used to be easy to lose track with the pluses and minuses but no more. Please try it and "NO" noone solicited my review or paid me for it. Awesome for us old folks just trying to make every $ count!! Merry Christmas all!

I've been using this app for years, should have reviewed it much sooner than this. I have various lists I keep that occasionally need to be recalculated. The ability to add text to each figure is priceless. I have over 20 calculators on my phone for various special tasks. This is one of my favorites, one I can't imagine living without. Developer has created a Windows version as well.

This app has been really good for years, but a couple months ago it started having a problem: whenever I delete a value in the list of equations, CalcTape suddenly scrolls all the way up to the top of the tape. I have to scroll down through the sometimes very long tape and find the spot where I'd just deleted the value or find the changed result of an equation. It's very disconcerting and slows down my math considerably!
