So frustrating trying to set up account, when supposed to take a photo of your ID document it doesn't work, nor uploading, clicking on the icons simply doesn't do anything. Tried it multiple times, after 45min simply trying to verify the account it got so frustrating that it put me in a bad mood. If those basic things don't work, how are they looking after your information, protecting your account and essentially your money???

Primitive interface. I deposited money through a bank account twice. And twice I couldn’t buy anything. Errors occur. I am an advanced crypto investor and have used many other platforms before. The support team responds slowly and ineffectively. Withdrew money, lost 4 pounds and a lot of time. I'm deleting the program. I do not recommend for use.

Using this app for 3 years. Was great. Last month the update destroyed the simplicity. The basic version was straightforward enough. You choose the exact amount you wanted to sell/buy either or use the options 25%50%75%100%, that doesn't exist anymore. Why? Also you could see current bids just by clicking on the crypto and it would instantly show. Also where are the widgets? Why ruin simplicity when you had a great thing. The website is still good, the app is now terrible.

Do NOT use Bitstamp if you want to have access to your money. They won't let me make any trades (even on the money I currently have in my account and invested in crypto) until I verify my address with a bank statement. Well, I uploaded my bank statement over a month ago now. I have called, emailed, and messaged on Facebook multiple times now and they just keep saying they'll expedite, but here I am, unable to touch my own money for over a month and losing out on 1000s of dollars in profits.

DO NOT USE BITSTAMP! I was able to make a small purchase, but when I try to transfer my coins to my coin wallet, I'm made to KYC (no problem for me) but suddenly it's demanding 2FA (OK that's easy) but it fails each time and support just sends me to an outdated Youtube video on how to use 2FA. #fail

UPDATE: BITSTMP TERMNATED MY ACCOUNT & TOOK MY MONEY for "ADMINISTRATION COSTS" DO NOT USE THIS EXCHANGE!! I bought crypto and set limit orders. One day I signed in and couldn't buy, sell or withdraw. I sent a request to support and they returned with the verdict above. I never did anything wrong. I am not sure what is going on with this exchange, but they appear to be wicked thieves! Their deeds will be repaid to them. KARMA!!! Their rating is LES THAN 1 STAR!! 😡😡😡😡

Blocked bcs of missing information (private info), supplied all info, and no reply from support!!!! Getting worse with Bitstamp! Will rate 1 star on all platforms....if issue will not be resolved fast.....! I did contact you on support email, but no reply! Bitstamp blocks your found, and asking papers and papers and papers.....but not resolving issues. You give them all legit private info, and still nothing! Need to rise this to next level (socaul world wide media) so everyone can know this!

As recommended, I set up the two-factor Authentication with Duo Mobile but it is not working with Bitstamp. I have almost run out of chances to enter the passcode before I get locked out. How can I fix that? I'm assuming the passcode that they want comes from Duo Mobile. I already check my phone's clock to make sure that it was on automatic time correction.

This app is irritating. I place an order, it charges my account, then I can't withdraw the amount. This happened multiple times., first time the order went through after a WEEK, this time I'm still waiting.... Edit. They only tell you it takes a week to clear after you send them multiple tickets. But they're happy to take your money in the meantime without any forewarning on how long it will take.

I get in no problem when I sign in with biometric. But it immediately says network error. I close that and then try to transfer my funds to my external wallet. Guess what, it won't allow me to. Says invalid entry even though I've set it up with Google authenticator. Cleared my cache....I've been trying this for 3 weeks now and I'm getting more and more pissed! I want my tokens off of bitstamp and into my damn wallet!

Absolutely awful service, DO NOT USE!!!. Insanely high fees and extremely deceptive about them. Will not allow you to withdraw funds to the account you transferred in funds with and tell you you need to send a wire transfer (with a $50 fee minimum) to "verify" your account. Absolute scam you might as well throw your money away instead of this app.

Log in problems. My app login and password says it's wrong but when I reset it it's still wrong. The same login and password works fine for the website version. Not sure what's going on might not be worth the trouble. Edited: It is definitely not a problem entering the password. Waiting to hear back from bitstamp support.

This app pisses me off. I'm a US user. I used it fine for a couple weeks after getting verified. Logging in no problem. Then it logged me out randomly, asked me for the password I've been using and have written down just to be sure, said my password is not correct, was forced to say forgot password, then it says it requires me to have two factor authentication to reset passwords, in order to set that up I essentially have to re-verify my account by, AGAIN, showing my ID and taking a selfie. BS!

Overall it's a great crypto app. I would give it 5 stars, but there's a bug to where when I first start the application none of my balance shows. I have to close the app and after I open it the 2nd time it shows everything as it should. Not to mention, you have to verify your identity to remove a credit/debit card for security purposes??? How is that a security feature? I should be able to remove a credit/debit card whenever I want with no extra verification process.

I've had this app long enough to sign up and add photos but they want you to download the 2-factor authenticator app...that ALWAYS has problems. Worse, I can't login on the actual app though I know for a fact that I have the correct credentials. Once I click on the green button for 2FA, it takes me to the app...that won't take my login credentials. 8 minutes and I'm already annoyed.

Impossible to use and set up due to a bug with 2 factor authentication setup. Authentication requests a code from Duo or Google authenticator, but when switching back to bitstamp to input the code, the app "bugs out" takes me back to the start of verification setup with a new key. This makes the old key obsolete, and the process just repeats itself (with either authentication app). Will likely just uninstall and go with another app.

This app is not working well. Since I started the verification phase, I realized that it failed, as it does not recognize countries such Saudi Arabia to send the code.. Why you add it in the list if you didn't recognize it 🤔. Secondly, there is no box to search for the currency in the main list, as you must go through all the currency list and choose what you looking for. Third, the main menu is complicated and does not fit with new devices.. And many others. Not recommend for new!!
