It's ok but needs more work and options. For example, it needs the option to allow the consumer to view only "on sale" or "discounted" products. Also, it needs to be able to save the localization settings. I can't tell you how many times I've changed it from USD to my country's currency and it never saves my choice. Very annoying.

This is no longer an actual app, it simply shows their mobile website & is available in the app store. It even notified me when I opened it that it was running in Chrome Beta (my default browser), would show up in my browser history, etc. Uninstalling to free up the storage space on my phone - and because it's pointless.

as per the store, i have no complaint. the one ★ is because the app itself. internally, it act as a wrapper for the browser version. it sniff whichever browser thinks its defaults (even if isn't) and use it even to save your logins credentials. there is no point on this wrapper. i'm utterly against it because user may have configuration that may compromise their info unknowingly. I don't necessarily wants my logins info in my browser. if i log off from browser, i log off from app as well.

Tried another company for a wireless transmitter/receiver and got delayed (3 weeks) shipping. Once arrived the item was missing items and sent with no receiver but three transmitters all locked on different frequencies. One week later... still trying to get this mess worked out. I ordered what I needed from B&H. I bet my order is delivered in full and completely operational before I even hear back from the other guys...

My number 1 goto So Last Christmas (2021) My son finally had enough to build his first PC. The GPU shortage then, was the worst it had been to date. I literally couldn't find a GPU for my son. B&H had a service to be notified when it was available, and it came through big for us. The rest of the year, I had a lot of builds and add ons to do, and B&H got a good 80-90% of that business. Anytime there has been the slightest issue. They made it right, immediately. They ship super fast too.

Horrible customer service and jesus the backorders, I backordered an item off of B&H that just took forever that I just had to cancel it. What I hate most is that they dont update us about when the item is in stock and will ship out. NEVER EVER ORDER DURING MAY UNLESS ITS A DEAL YOU CANT PASS UP. WHY? well its basically a holiday month where they'll take your orders but wont process it till June to ship. So check their calendars or close times.

They returned a Motorola phone for me a few years ago and it's sad that it took me this long to realize how amazing the customer service was. They did slightly get me on some "free" accessories that somehow turned into a $25 charge as I returned the phone...but it comparison to a phone return with any other company... Ummm yeah. There is no comparison. As for the app itself I can't really speak for, but the customer service was excellent.

What happened to the items i had "saved for later"? I have to go to the computer to see them and move them into my cart. At least loading the page in Chrome allows me the Desktop View. The app used to offer an easier experience than the mobile browser but now it's completely useless.

This was once one of the best apps I've ever used. It was so intuitive and fast. Now it's just using Chrome to display the website. It is laggy and slow to load. I understand that there must have been significant cost maintaining the previous app, but this is going to cost B&H business. I don't my see myself using this version, which means I'll likely beaking some purchases elsewhere, not out of spite, but just for simple convenience.

I purchased a video camera with a $200 deal during the holidays. I was contacted stating that the payments had declined, even though I clearly had the receipts and proof that the payments had been processed. I replied back stating this and never heard back. A week or so later, my order was canceled because B&H stated that I had not contacted them about my payment. I had clearly paid for the product AND contacted them about it, but they said I didn't do either. Not buying here again.

My go-to place when my local camera shop either doesn't have what I'm looking for or I'm just not able to make it there when they're open. (hint local camera shops: stay open late one night a week). Anyway, B&H Staff is super professional and the great service shows, it's like have an extra expert on staff and a huge closet full of gear just 2 days away.

App sucks, for instance, two notifications appearing on the screen, you click on them and they're gone. Plus they don't give a damn about your order, they just cancel it out of nowhere. They make a fun thing like purchasing a dream item a huge nightmare. I don't recommend buying from them online, specially if you purchase from abroad, be careful or you'll be very disappointed. This guy, Moshe, really gave me an extremely hard time, he treated me like a thief. I was very disappointed with B&H.

Decent but after 10 years you should be able to correct major issues. The order history has never worked properly. Once you select orders, you are shown only the most recent order. The screen blocks your ability to access the orders tab once selected, which would allow you to choose the date, range or item you want to see. Unfortunately, after all this time, that feature remains obscured and unaccessible. There is no excuse for not updating and correcting this glaring problem. Thank you

The Android app sucks, I give up, can't login with my account so what's the point... On my iphone it's fine, works great. Not sure why the Android version doesn't work, but it's annoying. Just uninstalled it. EDIT: Only took 4yrs but installed today and it works. It may be due to the fact I buy the newest Samsung flagship phone every year. It's possible the app works better on older devices. Still works on my iPhone 12 pro, but I obviously only upgrade my business phone (Apple) every few years.

Just a glorified web browser that takes you to the mobile version of the b&h site. Which means there's literally no reason to have this installed over just loading the site on your phone. If anything, the website when loaded on mobile Firefox is more responsive. You can't really tell on the screenshots because it appears to have been cropped out, but there's even a browser header that shows the page url and menu button that proclaims "Powered by Firefox" 🤷

Update: the app is still a mess but at least I can log in most of the time. Checking out is highly unreliable and often causes the app to lock up and crash. Sometimes I can get it working by force stopping it, others I have to uninstall and reinstall. Basically, I think uninstalling this is best and using the desktop interface instead of the path forward. Why this was ever changed from the previous version is a mystery because that app was great.

The app is easy enough to use. It is a bit frustrating when clicking through the categories, hitting the back button takes you clear back to the home page instead of one category up. Aside from that, after the last update I am unable to use the search bar. The keyboard shows up, the search bar isn't visible and if I try to type and hit enter, nothing happens. UPDATE: The search/keyboard issue has in fact been resolved. Awarding one more start! I'll give up the last start when the click-through navigation is fixed. ;-)

I'm bran new to astrophotography let alone photography in general. I've was shopping for a sky tracker and because of covid they are really hard to find. B&H photo had one in stock so I ordered it. My order processed and I received my order faster than I expected. And as a complete surprise to me they had included a free red light to use out in the dark, an item I didn't realize I needed. Goes to show they know and care about their customers. B&H photo really came through for me!

This used to be one of the best store-specific apps out there, and not just compared to direct competitors in the retail electronics market. Now it's basically just a container for their mobile website. You literally see it inside whatever your default web browser is (Firefox, Chrome, whatever). If I wanted the mobile website in Firefox, I'd open Firefox and go to their mobile website.

The site is easy to navigate and clearly explains items. It does much better than Amazon with searches. Amazon shows me tons of irrelevant useless links with the specific item I seek lost among them, seldom with useful alternatives. You put my item on top and suggest other interesting choices. My only concern is that you are always bragging that you offer great bargains and that you have a big sale on, when you are selling the products for the same price as Adorama, Amazon, etc etc etc.
