It's worse than the old one at the moment. Basically unusable for me as there is no way to filter non-periodical books. I have a weekly subscription of a magazine, but other books are lost between the weekly issues. I can filter the periodicals, but I need the oposite filter as well.

crash every 10 minutes so im not able to listen more then 70 books i did buy on android and i cant log in the old version great job

The below has been promptly fixed by the engineering team, well done! Outstanding support and customer orientation. Cannot cast to Chromecast Audio at all anymore, previously it was also having problems and connection to the Chromecast Audio was dropping after few seconds. Other than that works fine.

Listing audiobook that are split into parts is insane challange. First of all just to find a first part would take you minutes, searching through 30 or so parts which ofc are not ordered but just random in your search results. Moving from prev to next part is again the same challange of going into home screen and searching again for the title. This is the worst posible design you could imagine and its just one of many examples how bad user experience it is

I wasn't able to figure out how the subscription model works actually. They wanna charge you subscriptions but you still have pay for each audiobook? Doesn't make any sense, firstly is very inconvenient secondly you ended paying €10 and have access to only one maybe 2 audiobooks monthly meanwhile other services charge you almost the same amount of money for unlimited access. App uninstalled.

Nice update from the previous version of the app. I'm however seeing a bug while casting to Chromecast - after a chapter ends, about 10 seconds into the next chapter, casting stops and switches to playing audio from the phone. This happens consistently and I've seen it reported in another please fix this. I'm casting to Chromecast Audio, the app is in the foreground the whole time, using stock Android 10 (on Android One phone). Contact me if needed, I'm an Android developer.

You cannot create any folders or anyhow improve the organization of your audiobook shelf. When I want to list out one particular book, I always have to scroll through all my books including all the magazine issues (each week I'm receiving a new one ..). Another very annoying think - you do not recognize if you already have a particular book bought in your shelf - you have to add the book into the "basket" to find it out. The user-friendly interface is obviously not much important for Audioteka.

I'm paying for subscription and in the middle of listening to certain book it is no longer avaliable for subscribers. I checked if all of them were available for listening and turns out, yes they were. But I'm almost to the end of 9h book and suddenly it announces ”You have reached my free sample of book". Day after day this is happening I paid for services and I am having a lot problems . Please solve this as soon as possible.

Serious improvement over the previous version. Finally the bluetooth connection issues are over. No resetting to previous chapter. Instead, similarly to other apps, it repeats the last seconds when restarting, which is usually a good idea. A minor issue, is that when reopening the app with poor Internet connection it might take ages before one is allowed to click the play button on the current book, which makes no sense. All in all, lots of books, fair prices and works well.

So, basically, listening is the same as in the old app, quality and all that stuff. However, so many things changed and it really annoys me. Firstly, you cannot listen offline, which I think is extreme and super annoying, as that's one of the top reasons I use audiobook apps, to have entertainment offline (and it is even more annoying that in the old app, this was not a problem). Secondly, it is almost impossible to listen on two or more devices, which sucks too... More in another comment!

Works ok on phone and with android auto. Does not work with Google cast ( tried casting on nest mini, nest mini 2, nest hub). 2024, chrome cast still does not work. C'mon, it is a simple thing to get fixed!

Casting to chromecast does not work. It just hangs on splashscreen. Very annoying... considering we speak about paid content. UPDATE 2024-03-07: Technical support was contacted ages ago but there was zero follow-up. Issue has been persisting for several months/years now.

I don't enjoy the app. It was mandatory to download with the audiobook. No option to download and listen to the book without downloading a registering and sharing data with another app. You can listen only online, can't download without Wi-Fi, there is too many pauses between chapters, it's stopping without reason, you have to remember where you stopped because it will restart to the very begining any random time.

Downloads erratic - sometimes ok , most of the time extremely slow. The app crashes and reloads quite often while downloading files. Sometimes you have to wait half a minute before playback starts- even in offline mode valid for a month. Infuriating. Uses battery very fast - much faster than a regular audio player.
