Really like how the app keeps me updated with live scores and I can watch my team's match replay if I miss a game. Also like the TV guide and being able to listen live to matches.

Videos on AFL App on Android stop all the time have to watch ad again to start video again. Very poor App for such a large Sport. You are driving traffic away how bad the video function works here.

Don't try to change phones!!! You will spend countless hours trying to reset or get back onto the app. Overly complicated ID management so they can shove marketing down your throat on every screen.

Works well for an AFL app that's free. I have been using it for 6 years. Accuracy is so so but good on it's coverage of the AFL in the United States. You can listen live to games through radio live feeds.

nothing bad that iv come across great work! Edit: ok so bad review time: can only watch games if I'm on Telstra or if I install kayo and pay. Pathetic. EDIT: LAST UPDATE BROKE THE APP Stat's unfindable. How difficult is it to leave the app alone if it's working like it was before this update? Can't even find how many goals a defender has kicked cause the option doesn't come up! Pathetic!

It's good how you can look at different game scores, see different players AFL fantasy scores and keep track of who's leading stats for eg tackles or goals. Could be better if we could live stream games, even for a cost. Great idea.

Regularly has glitches where you cannot see the complete story or only get parts of survey available etc. Video has dark screen for first few seconds meaning you miss footage when looking at mark of the week or highlights. Video embedded in stories won't go full screen.

Pretty good for the most part. ¾ of the time the short game clips or any other media on the app wont play and nothing seems to change it except maybe coming back a few days later. Restarting/resetting the app doesnt work either

***2024 update not much has changed since the last review except now we get the lost internet connection bug.***2021 App is slow and riddled with ads on every video, lock your phone video restarts, ad restarts. Half the time the refresh video screen can't be removed which you then have to restart the video to clear that in turn restarts the ad. Very frustrating when you try to watch an 18 second video with a 15 second ad and have to do it 4 times.

Would be lovely to watch the videos you guys put up but for some reason get better service from YouTube for your replays pathetic for multi million dollar company. 5g network and still a 2 minute video will not load but yours ads load up straight away!! Absolutely disgraceful. Nothing but a business and not a sport

Love the free AFL app. As we aren't able to watch the games on our TV, Im able to pin 📌 future games of teams I'm interested in following. This means I get a pop-up on my mobile's home screen when those teams are playing, along with live updates of each of their games. I also use the app to find out the date & exact time & location where the games are being played. I can also cĥeck the ladder.

You've ruined 'The 10' weekly video. loose the voice over immediately, oh so bad, unspeakably bad!! Please make it stop!! The new top stories thing at the top is lame. this app used to be so good. more stats less fluff please. pleassssse end the 10 voice over. Ruins it, so bad I had to come edit this review to reiterate the point!!

Constantly freezes, regularly doesn't play videos. I tried to open the only a message pops up saying I need to update the app after uninstalling and reinstalling the app, I get the same error message! Latest software update resulted in not being able to manually update match info

Great app for watching match replays in the USA. Chock full of information and stats on teams and individual players. Lots of news articles and videos. Recent update allows you to hide the scores on the match replays. It needs captioning on the videos for the hearing impaired. Took off one star for that.

The constant "radio stream error" which occurs when trying to listen to the footy holds this app back. I thought they might get that right during the off-season, but nothing has changed when I tried to listen to the 2022 preseason matches. Radio stream dropping constantly on multiple devices, regardless of how strong my connection is.

Video does not always play. I click on a video and nothing happens sometimes. Other times it works. Quite annoying. If you watch a video in portrait mode and switch to landscape the video starts all over again. Plus when reading an article, a new article is ready below it, however if you scroll too early ( eg before the first article has fully loaded) then the 2nd article takes over. So I have to click back and load the first story again.

Removing the app. It keeps popping up when it's not meant to. It stopped me using tap&pay earlier for some weird reason. It's become intrusive and there is definitely a problem as a number of people report it is starting or appearing when it shouldn't. I spoke to two over lunch yesterday having the same problems. Please fix it. EDIT: Removed the app then decided to reinstall. Even with a clean install it still pops open when I haven't opened it and takes the focus of the phone. Poor - Fix it!
